The primary motivation for putting my introverted-self on RU-vid in July 2019 was to try and help guide people out of those dark places that we all find ourselves in, from time to time. I've been there, sat at the bottom of dark holes, and I feel I know something of the way out again. I want to be to others that which I needed myself at earlier points in my life, so that people don't have to navigate the dark alone.
I use tarot as a tool of self-discovery, personally and for my clients. It is possible to use it for divination purposes, and I do employ this in my readings, but I feel it is more important to get in touch with ourselves, first and foremost, and confront the ~ darker ~ sides of ourselves. No one is perfect, and personal growth is a never-ending endeavour. The closer we can get to our imperfections to objectively assess them, the easier it is to let go of those self-limiting beliefs, toxic behaviours and projections that we are all plagued with. In simple terms, I use tarot for shadow work and self development. All I ask is that you be open to the message.

Wow Carrie this reading accurately summed up where I’m at! After 4 years of a wonderful, healing, nomadic life travelling around the South Island of NZ in a campervan, I had to make a challenging decision to sell my campervan, as it was getting old and costing more in mechanical repairs. Letting go of my little home and my lifestyle was really tough and I didn’t know how my future would look as I travel around different regions petsitting and have built up repeat business. Somehow I’m managing with a little hatchback stuffed full of my gear travelling to back to back housesit bookings. Basically, I’m homeless, but it doesn’t feel that way to me. Still living my dream but in a slightly different way. Out of nowhere, a decision came to me to return to Australia where I’ve spent most of my adult life and where my aging mother and sisters live. Your reading identified my pondering on this as I’ve been considering how this move would work. What will I do? Where will I go? That cautiousness you mentioned. I’m retired now and on a pension and prefer the nomadic life rather than being anchored anywhere. So ‘go big or go home’ means to me that I have outgrown little ole NZ and its time to go explore the big continent of Oz, get a campervan, and continue to petsit. These are the things that make my heart sing🙏🏼

I’m a Sagittarius, and I was right. This reading resonates, but I recognize it resonated for me last month too. I had to truly let go of the idea of caring so much about outside myself, and care more about inside and how in my life, I can go big!!! I’ve self sabotaged by not trusting myself. I had to see if I could, and now I’ve understood that I can. This is very very big. I did need that extra time to not only see, but understand. Now it’s time to really explode on the scene, in however I end up doing that. Lol 😊

I must admit after listening to the August reading I was upset and offended at first, for about 5 minutes and then I had to admit that it WAS accurate. I wanted to hear how great I’ve been doing BUT then I thought well I’m doing better than I WAS doing but am I really doing great?!? And I had to be honest with myself and admit that I am definitely not where I want to be yet. I really liked the animal in a cage example because the way I’ve been feeling for awhile is that I’m in the cage waiting for someone to come and mess with me and when they do I’m going to attack but hoping it doesn’t come to that.
