These last two episodes are what all of us Manhwa readers have been waiting for and they delivered PERFECTLY. Arise was delivered in both animation and in voice acting. I hope the animators get ALL the time they need for cour two because they absolutely cooked with this season.

Something I just understood. He got so much bonus points BECAUSE he was sent to the Penalty Quest. The Penalty Quest time was 4 hours, that was added to his survival time in the Job Change Quest. If you remember at the end of the last ep it had only been a couple minutes and he was supposed to last as long as possible. So the system felt he was alive for a CRAZY long amount of time!

I think we can all agree that Roshi should never, EVER be trusted with Necromancy powers. Bro was talking about shanking people for EXP in Episode 8. What kind of horror would he unleash on the world with that kind of power?!

Some little details they skipped/changed in anime : - The Ruler's Hand is called Commander's Touch in the manhwa. - The mages' shadows he extracted were ranked ELITE and infantrymen were ranked REGULAR/STANDARD. In anime they were all ranked as REGULARS. - He obtained the title of "The Conqueror of Adversity". Titles have their own separate buffs. This one gives jinwoo a stat increase in proportion to the amount of health lost (1% stat incr for every 1% of health lost.) Jinwoo already had the title of " Wolf Assassin". He can swap between the titles according to the situation,to enjoy their buffs. - Job change is not strictly restricted for a specific class like necromancer. Other classes like Fighter,Mage,Knight could actually be promoted to Berserker, Grand Sorcerer,Sword Master....Well,it doesn't matter cuz it was all rigged and that was the only class he could have gotten anyway,lol! - Both the Shadow Extraction and Shadow Storage skills don't require mana. But,the shadows themselves do require mana to get summoned again,or to heal when they get injured. As long as Jinwoo has mana,they can keep spawning repeatedly. - Shadow Extraction works on the principle of mana conversion. Mana tends to escape/flow out from the body of a dead being (that had mana to begin with) into the surrounding. That's why,there's a time limit to it. It also doesn't work on a mana-less body (at least for now),or on something/somebody that's spiritual/astral. - The shadows are the denizens of the nothingness,or how the anime described- "the ghosts of the dead soldiers that roam the valley of death". They just got a form based on their mana expenditure. The casuals lack personality, but those on a higher level,like Igris,do. - Number of extractable shadows is limited to 30 at the moment for Jinwoo,while the ones he can store is limited to 20. That's why he terminated 11 of the regular types to make room for Igris. Terminated shadows can't be summoned again since they return to nothingness. - In the manhwa,jinwoo actually cringed out at Igris' full name lol. He had a goofy expression. Wish they woulda included it in the anime. - Igris actually started off at level 7 as a Knight,cuz jinwoo increased his power by naming him..Only those shadows that rank 'Knight' or higher can be named. - They kept the red feather thingy for Igris in the anime,while it was dark in the manhwa. These little details add upto the overall aesthetic and style of the show,love it!! - Gotta praise A1 for adding the neon blue/dark style to present the shadow soldiers. In the manhwa,the soldiers,at this point,look like the embodiment of dark matter with nothing but black aura,and the glowing eyes.

Ant, wasps, termites and bees are all part of the same family tree. HENCE THE WINGS!

The last bit about Jeju Island was covering the discovery that the ant invaders were evolving to include wings. Part of what mitigated the massive damage and losses from the complete takeover of the island was that the ants couldn't reach the mainland. Now that early failure in learning and responding to fates is even more dangerous.

If you’re wondering about what they meant with the ants evolving, it’s because the ants are starting to get wings (which they didn’t have before) which is a huge problem because the ants can fly to the mainland (they were stuck on Jeju island since that’s where the gate spawned and they can’t swim).

What's funny is, that during the job channge quest there doesn't seem to be a time limit, yet the only other real "condition" to finishing it, killing every monster, gives you BONUS points. Which implies that it as well isn't the intended way to finish the quest. So either there was a hidden condition we don't get to see, or he had to fight until his death, but wouldn't ACTUALLYY die.
