As I listened to you Sister in 2021, God spoke to my heart. Last week my confessor told me to look deep in my heart to address something that maybe I am not letting go of. You just confirmed that. We are similar in many ways, except that my station in life is as a married woman. Dear Sister Miriam...thank you for your beautiful talk! for your openness to share your story... I went to Al-Anon for 20 years and learned a lot especially in open AA meetings ....thank you for telling us about the book.... be healed ....I just ordered it I'm anxious to read it.... I live with post-traumatic stress from four rapes one my husband who I stay married to to not hurt our Daughter who thinks her dad can do no wrong....does not realize he gaslights me... a term I just learned ...I have panic disorder and panic attacks daily... have a hard time getting the medication the psychiatrist in Sioux Falls South Dakota is not willing to help me very much and I understand that as a retired nurse I am 73 years old ...a Cradle Catholic and now it's quality of life ....You're in my daily prayers my daily thoughts ...you are a witness to young women all over the world... your strength your courage to look into yourself and ask God to change you... it's something that I strive for but, I get too afraid so I back away from it ....I have had a good priest come into my life but, the Priest mentor who helped me look at me and my responsibility for my problems has been transferred and now we have a young priest who's very kind and very loving but he's like the Goodyear Bunny and he has to do everything perfect so the confession has to be fast and so there's no spiritual Direction and everything has to be done exact because he's trying to do everything right.... I love him and I pray for him as I do all priests but it's very difficult because the priest I loved so much as a son he was in his late 50s has been transferred to his home diocese in Michigan ...we spent a lot of time in spiritual Direction even though we had a school here that's closed in our little town of 900 ....my main goal was to Thank you for the talk the book and to tell you that I'm praying for you ....
