@@killakill6030 The youtuber, Vaatividya, probably has a better and more impactful retelling of his story than I could give. But the basic idea is that he fought the abyss for a long time and even traversed it before finding Manus and fighting him with his wolf, Siff. He broke his main hand trying to protect Siff and both ended up having to retreat. Artorias was lost to the abyss while Siff survived. Artorias, when you fight him, has been corrupted by the abyss, still fighting it, but fighting everything else as well.
@@OneUp-18 Unfortunately it never will be, it was going to be a quote in something I’m writing, but the plot changed and it went from a dialogue filled battle to a flat out execution.
@@evenhessen3452 sunflower seed oil or similar, olive oil -(extra virgin, just like you xD)- is better used in salad. You can substitute oil with butter but that will require a more careful mixing process, to make sure that the surface area of at least most of the pasta is covered. But do make sure to not add too much or the meal will become unpalatable, greasy mess.

I see the legendary Artorias is the background art. I still remember him giving me a damn hard time in dark souls 1. He has such a great story, too bad he ended up becoming the thing he was sent to destroy. “When you stare into the abyss... it stares back...”

I know this is about dark souls and any way or how we would interpret it. But I am also picking up Solo Leveling from this too and its fantastic! marvelous composition in capturing the dramatic emotions of darkness and despair!

Knight Artorias, the hero who stood alone against the darkness till it consumed him. Still remember learning his lore while playing Dark Souls, to this day he is one of my most liked characters:)
??? he was supposed to rescue princess Dawn, failed by becoming consumed by the abyss, and his legend was stolen from the deeds of the chosen undead. The only thing Artorias did of note was save Sif from the abyss. Elizabeth never told Dawn it was the chosen undead, so she assumed it was Artorias.
@@pilodrou4213 I played dark souls couple times now. I know that most of his deeds were done by chosen undead. Yet that still doesn't change that he stood against the dark and was consumed by it.

The snow melts and those "Men" I created scream silently in agony unable to do a thing as I watch them slowly being destroyed, little by little. If you listen close you can hear their breath, as the air that they had is squeezed out of them whilst they suffer this fate. only to be never thought about again, but I remember them ,I keep little pieces I took from them so they can always exist. I even name those "Men" I make after them, I slowly Piece them together. Those "Men" never scared me, since I always made the pure and innocent, but sometimes they would do things I never told them to. Like stare at me with eyes they never received, or smiles they never had, and their breath gets louder with no lungs. Reminds me of the Dark Souls character with the massive blade as well. Love this music too, it would certainly be very fitting for the Dark Souls gaming franchise. Just realised it is the character from Dark Souls, so cool!

His soul could be compared to the abyss, pitch black. He didn't find joy in the harm of others, he didn't find joy serving under the Dark Lord; as Bathos laid his eyes on the "man" before him he, for the first time, felt fear, not because of his power, not because he beat him, but because he had no idea who he even was. He knew the Dark Lord was a sadistic, unreemable world-ender who reveled in darkness, but the person before him didn't, he looked completely empty, like a persom who had just witnessed a suicide, unable to process the horror. He couldn't read him at all. Maybe, just maybe, there was some fraction of hope left in him. "What are you fighting for?" Those words echoed throughout the delapitated, crumbling arena. He continued his approach, finally halting in front of Bathos, looking down at him as he stood tall. "A mere adventurer like you wouldn't understand. You look at me like I'm some god . . ." The sun shined a bit brighter, his face obstructed by shadow, but the rays caught a glimmer of tears running down his cheeks. "I can assure you, I'm human, one whos seen too much, one who knows too much . . . This world needed *me* to fill this role . . ." He turned his back away to the dying hero below him, "I'm sorry, kid, but we'd be here for years if I were to explain everything . . ." For a moment Bathos laid frozen, confused. His logic made no sense, what the hell did he mean by the world needed him to be this way? He began to stand up, but as he moved to stand, with one swift movement he saw a silver gleam, yet there was no pain, just darkness. His ears were bombarded with familiar sounds, yet so many played at the same time that he couldn't pin point a single one of them. He heard memories of his friends, his parents calling him, his bullies, all waning away. What was his name again?
Ser Artorias is a knight who stepped into the darkness in order to overcome it and was eventually swallowed up by it. His soul became dark, but his heart was pure and noble 😭😭
