A deleted song sequence from Disney's, "The Aristocats," that was written by the Sherman brothers, Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman. The song can be found on the 2-disc Special Edition Blu-ray/DVD combo (although a single disc DVD edition exists) along with other featured bonus material.
It was envisioned to be a villainous song sung by Edgar and his assistant, Elvira, as a romantic duet, in which the butler would have attempted to propose to her so that he could have access to her share of the Madame's fortune. The song was however dropped due to Elvira being removed from the story.
The character Elvira, who was intended to play the role of Madame Bonfamille's maid, assisted Edgar in his scheme to get rid of the cats, and was envisioned to be voiced by Elsa Lanchester, but sadly was cut from the story, placing Edgar as the central villain in order to better simplify the storyline.

This would of gave Edgar more character development if it was in the film

Corey's voice fits with those early designs for Edgar.

It makes sense for the maid to not be in the final release, otherwise Edgar would have had his hands way too full to get rid of her and the cats. The plot would have been complicated too.

@@cirobordon1265 Even if that wasn't the problem, I don't think the animators would have handled the plot for Edgar to get rid of her and the cats. You can already feel how exhausting and difficult it was for him to get rid of them alone, especially since those farm dogs got in his way.

@@RegularInvader I don't know. He kinda comes off like Proto!Hans in this version, and Hans did just fine trying to dispose the sisters on his own. (Plus, I suspect that the butler would cox the maid to help him with his plan for her to bail out near the end.)

In the original they were both supposed to be villains, Eder would trick Elvira lik in the song she goes along with it be she loves him. He was probably going to off her after the cats were gone. He wouldn’t get the chance though. How I assume it would have played out was Edger would do something to make Elvira upset like maybe she over hears him mentioning getting rid of her for the money and she’d turn on him at the end. I actually think it would add something. I love edger as is, but I do think he’s a little to sympathetic at times. He makes up for it through the movie but Honestly I get it he’s been serving a bunch of cats and now there’s a fortune he’ll never get? He gose overboard but I’d be upset too. Adding a human character who’s being manipulated into the mix may add a new layer since it’s not just stealing from cats any more. Now he’s stealing from a innocent lady who loves him. It adds a new low that makes him less sympathetic and shows what happens even more karmatic.

I honestly believe That if they has kept her in the movie, She and Edgar would have has a villain and henchmen relationship but Elvira would not help him out of evil but out of kindness, something like Yzma and Kronk.

0:00-1:20 I like this early design for Edgar more than the final one they used. I get the impression that he was originally going to be more sinister, but then they felt like they couldn't make him too sinister because it was supposed to be a comedy. It seems like they weren't really sure what they wanted him to look like.

I can see why they tried to go in the “evil man uses lovesick woman who has a crush on evil man to do his bidding” cliche, it would make fore a great finale, Edgar and Elvira would had the Aristocats stuck in the Timbukto box and gives a villain monologue about loving Elvira only for her money then she’d help the Aristocats escape and get rid of Edgar but then…what? I mean seriously, what could she do in the ending scene, Idk, maybe the whole thing about it being a cliche would’ve been the reason it was scrapped
