I read/watched reports on the Cards last offseason where they said that the team was missing a Safety after Baker. They referred to Thompson as a benchwarmer CB. They flatly don't show any respect for this team.
they are 8-26 over the last 2 years so i can understand why. i hope they turn things around this year but you also have to remember we also have the toughest schedule in the league can anyone explain why we always play one of the toughest schedules in the league while the cowboys always play a cup cake schedule year in and year out even when we finish last and the cowboys finish first or second. how fair is that.
The record of any team isn't the problem when it comes to bad reporting. It's sloppy and lazy. The same outlet had a report in '21 about Thompson and Baker as one of the top Safety duos in the league. You have to go out of your way to be this sloppy. It's disrespectful to the player and the game.
@danielcorreard3746 I agree and I can't explain why they have the hardest schedule every year. They said our SoS for the 2024 season was 2nd easiest and I look at it and it's still top 5 toughest currently, yeah we have easy games but idk what gives. I think the Cards are playoff team this year but still it's rough.
'24 isn't as tough as it appears. Outside of the 49ers and Lions, there's no reason to believe that any team can't be beaten with good execution and game plan. Honestly, the same applies to the 49ers and Lions. The end of season wins demonstrated this principle and I believe that the new DL will hold its own much better while healthy.
@@Sandviper9322 well i know why that is it goes by the other teams records from last year. trouble is a lot of teams are going to be better then last year washington for one and the bears for another. it's looking like a tough one. the patriots will be as bad maybe even worse then last year. to be honest i'd be ok if we finsihed 6-11 or 7-10 at least it would mark improvement besides monti promised a two year rebuild and we just finished year one. i think our window for contending is next year. but as long as we are making progress i will be happy. remember you have to walk before you can run
Let them disrespect the cardinals. It'll make it sweeter when they prove them wrong . They always seem to do better when they dont have those expectations
I think Xavier Thomas is the big surprise of this draft, he might be fucking amazing, he has a really interesting story. 5 star recruit. Got compared with Micah Parsons alot. He had a rough covid, but might have his best ahead of him. He's got a LETHAL first step. I predict him to be a starter by next year
Johnny you need to look at Carr’s numbers last year that you called horrendous.. Besides the one yr Murray had those rushing tds.. they are pretty similar to Murray best yrs..

we do have the toughest schedule in the league so maybe that has something to do with this. i hope the cardinals have a winning season this year but i'm not counting on it

I look at who they play and how those teams did in the offseason not based on last yr like some clowns go by strength of schedule.. it’s based on previous year so that means shit just like draft grades right after draft
