A great day at ACP MX on the vet track. Weather was around seventy and was not that crowded (Sunday, Feb 20, 2021). I am riding my 2020.5 KTM 450 SXF FE and running the GoPro 8 black. From watching the video I can see that I am still getting off the gas early on the jump face. Next time out I need to focus on holding the throttle steady throughout the face of the jump. Next time there I will try to focus on that and maybe post a side by side video comparison so we can see how important it is to hold the gas steady. I am clearing many of the jumps but would be smoother and the proper way to hold the gas steady.

They are doing Wednesday afternoons and weekends. Google ACP Buckeye and you can see hours on their site.

Watched the whole thing. Stoked to see you hitting that triple nice and hard. Fly me out, put me on a bike and I’ll bring my run and gun backpack kit with a drone and camera for some sick shots out at ocotillo or glamis.

@@CharlieFerer I'm in Orlando right now, I just flew back 2 weeks ago for $120 roundtrip, can't beat covid prices! I do ride, but it has been about 4 seasons and I sold my ksx 250 about 3-4 months ago.

It sure seems that the 450 power clears the jumps with ease. I have a 2017 KTM 250 SXF FE and it is screaming to get over the jumps. Probably just my technique, only been riding for a little over a year.

I agree! The 450 makes it easier to clear the jumps. I have a 300 TPI (two stroke) and a 350 SXF as well. The 350 is just as fun to ride and I feel I am more focused on the 350 because you need to carry a little more speed in corners and be on the gas more to carry 450 speed. I get a little lazy on the 450 because the power is there when you want it. I just started riding again last spring (less than a year) and have not ridden a motorcross bike since 2007. If you see me at the track say hello and I will follow you and see if I can help any. Watching youtube "how to" videos has helped me a lot. Like I said, one thing I still struggle with is staying steady on the gas on the face of the jump. A lot to learn but having a blast!
