Really like the "Stand Your Ground Law." HOWEVER, I pray I never have to shoot at another human and that I have the chance to turn and RUN!! I'm just all about putting holes in cardboard and denting metal targets lol
@@fashionovawigs if Democrats are running things so we'll, why are Democrat voters fleeing their states to conservative states? It's not to change other people's politics, its because they drove their state to shit, and they're too proud to admit they fucked up so they keep voting the same way. On the flip side, Democrats fleeing their states has actually allowed Republicans to gain seats in normally Democrat strong holds.
Good on you for educating yourself. Now just be sure you vote for local and state politicians that will destroy the great gun laws in our state. Born and raised here and I'm scared of the direction our cities and state are going
This is valuable information that all gun owners in this state need to know. Basically, it's our responsibility to educate ourselves in these laws. Thank you for this video.
This is a great video, in the future I plan on moving to Arizona and getting myself a firearm so your video was a great help on some basic do's and dont's. Thank you :)
Thank you, I grew up going to Williams and flag staff every year for summer, and now as an adult I was thinking of moving to flag and wanted to know the basics to carrying thank you
This dude is cool. Thx for the info which will save lives and freedom. Keep up the good work. Arizona!!!! Tucson here. Everybody let's help bless this man, consider sharing on fb will yuh??? I'll do mine rn even though I might get one like I know plenty will see it 🤣
One advice I disagree with here....DO NOT under any circumstances talk to the police. ALWAYS get a lawyer first. Even if you tell them "I was afraid for my life"...all you have to do is slip up....or contradict yourself or say something else and they will hang your ass in court. "He wont be threatening anyone else, I bet" - bam, police may think you were out looking for trouble and recall as such in court.
Hey guys quick question! I’m in Washington and visiting Arizona this month! Gonna check out the Grand Canyon! I have a CPL (concealed pistol license) from Wa. Yeah is it okay to bring my firearms along with me? I’ll be driving down! Thanks!
Arizona is a permit-less carry or Constitutional Carry state. No permit is required to carry a concealed firearm if a person is 21 years of age or over. ... Arizona still maintains a “Shall Issue” policy for reciprocity purposes.
@@s82452 a lot of states allow CCW from different states. So if you go to another state that requires a CCW and you had a Arizona CCW you can still conceal carry
So if I have Utah ccw I can legally carry concealed in AZ? If not, I dont like open carry but can a non AZ resident open carry legally? Hey thanks. Does this apply to ARs as well just curious.
Question.. so I have my CCW I am 27 and own a few fire arms I got before and after my ccw so I have done background checks an everything also for my ccw an never have had a problem. Tonight I just had someone try an break into my home but then run off no gun was involved or anything but when the cops came I had my gun on me, they took it while they were there but when they came back they told me due to a felony I had on my juvenile record they were taking my gun until a detective called and talked to me. Is that legal? Also I have had police contact in the past since owning my guns and have had no issues, don’t know if they ran my name or not, but no issues ever. But the cops said since my juvee record they were taking it. Just wondering what my options are here.
So I am 19. I understand I can open carry I cannot conceal carry. I also understand that it’s a constitutional carry state. Big question do I have to be a resident to open carry?
so in az i see if police ask you if you have a firearm in the car "you have to tell them" but what if i put my right to remain silent and refuse to answer questions?
I think the law is leaving a grey area. It can be as petty as pulling a gun on someone for stealing a shirt at Walmart, all the way to killing someone who stole your wallet. I think it is trying to keep people from dying that weren't a direct threat to your life. Now, I'm sure if you confront said person with your wallet and they brandished a knife, bang bang! ;)
So, if someone that is unarmed breaks into your house and you catch them steeling your stuff and they start to walk out knowing you can’t shoot them, can you kick their ass to prevent them from steeling you stuff?
I was told hell yes. Leave your strap in your waistband and go get your stuff. Physical force is reasonable force to protect and defend your property from a non lethal threat. In this case, the person stealing your shit and walking away. But if said person decides to pull a deadly weapon on you, from something as small as a screwdriver to as big as an rpg, then pull out your piece and give him 4 or 5 plus some change for the road.
So, I'm going to buy a handgun fairly soon and I'm wondering if I need a certain permit since I live across a middle school. My sister said I needed a specific permit that allows me to carry a firearm within a mile from a school in az but I dont know what that would be. I'm very new too this sorry
Moving to AZ hopefully soon and this has been most helpful! NJ is just meh. Can't even own an airsoft gun without a million permits. It's a miracle NJ big rigs let people own knives without having them registered with the ATF.
The CCW-Restaurant-Carry law is not conflicted. It was the strongest bill I could pass. There is nothing that says "you cannot have a gun in a bar, period." The owner has a right to post at the bar, that they do not allow firearms in their business.
So if they come at me and I give them fair warning would that be Sound stand your ground and they're still advancing on you even though you have that weapon arm you have the weapon pulled cuz I bought a gun for protection
I just moved to AZ from sucky illinois. If someone is breaking into my house and i see a weapon on them be it a bat, knife or gun whats is the legal action? Also if i don’t see a weapon on them, maybe hidden
Trespassing is when your asked to leave and don’t. If the owner asks you to put your gun in the car and refuse that’s not trespassing. It’s only trespassing if they ask you to leave.
Okay can I ask this, what if you are a medical marijuana card holder but instead of having marijuana with you can you instead carry a firearm and only the firearm?
Contact your local sheriffs office or police office and they should tell you, one or the other, on you, either leave the gun (which is stupid) or leave the cannabis at home, otherwise your breaking the law, talked to our local sheriff dept 2 yrs ago and got that info, basically a grey line area
What if someone younger maybe the same size as you starts beating on you and you are a senior citizen but not a helpless one. Are you just supposed to take the beating?
I'm an Arizona resident, and I sleep in a van. To what degree do I have the ability to detour someone breaking into the domicile specifically when it's occupied by myself or others? I've thought quite a bit about what I would do if, lets say in the middle of the night, someone is using a tool to break into the vehicle. I have a firearm, but I understand that it's not a simple explanation as to when it's lawful to use it. Personally, I would much rather threaten the use of the firearm in which case, the perpetrator would likely just leave, however pointing a gun at someone and shooting them are basically in the same realm as far as legality. In other words, there is no situation in which it's lawful to point a firearm at someone, but unlawful to shoot them at the same time. They both coincide. Could anyone point me in the right direction to understand the nuances of my situation? What's my best option as far as detouring a break in while i'm inside the vehicle, and at what point is it lawful for me to either point/brandish/shoot the firearm?
If you cant use a weapon at someone during a theft, what would happen if say you where standing in line and someone comes through the door to commit a armed robbery. Are you justified to shoot if they are committing a crime with a weapon?
I've got a question for anyone, If you were in a restaurant and someone tries robbing it with a gun can you draw or no? If it's for the safety of people I feel like you should.
Some of these laws really tick me off. Why does the guy have to be 300 LBS ?? A 5'2" guy can kill you if they come at you looking for *any* physical contact. They could push you to the ground and you hit your head and die. They can punch just right and kill you. This happens all the time! When *anyone* is walking towards you aggressively, I don't know what they are gonna do when they get to me - if i pull my gun, point it at them, and they are still moving towards me, that should be reason enough to shoot.
If it’s a person the same size as you, they want you to be half dead and on the ground getting our head knocked in for reason to pull your weapon out n use it
Just had a issue where somebody tried to hit my car with their car multiple times on purpose even flipping me the finger & calling me a bitch ass Mexican and I had my kids and was nervous as to what to do but I had my sig with me just in case but I was very nervous cause I didn’t know what the law was with this type of scenario
In other words, if you have a relationship with a woman and she makes a false accusation of abuse, the judge will find you guilty (usually based only on her word without any need of supporting evidence). So to keep your firearms rights, don't be convicted of a felony and don't have a relationship with a woman. EVER!
This happened to me. Crazy chick broke everything in my house over 3000 dollar worth and was running out with my playstation and jewelry do I was chasing her. She slipped and bumped er head into the front door which she admitted but because I was chasing her.....and my hand brushed up against her as I was reaching for her....cop stopped and said" wait u were chasing her, and when u both fell your hand made contact w her? Ok ur not under arrest but come sit in my car. " Went to jail and I called the cops because she was breaking and stealing my stuff!? I got it set aside and passed fbi back ground several times now.
@@samaelmartinus3273 next time don’t talk to the police request a lawyer I wish I would have known that. That might have been why they got you. Similar thing happened with my ex and her dad he head butted me police didn’t write that in the report and I got charged was ridiculous thankfully I got the case dismissed.
OK, that's the law. In reality, if someone tries to rob you as a pedestrian or in your car, you draw, fire, and leave. If there is a dead person, and they know you were there, you will be arrested for murder I. It is a lot of work to identify and charge an assailant. AZ cops are not interested in anything but the minimum effort, unless someone is shooting at them. If you are threatened or assaulted, use a REVOLVER, and leave. Then, if you choose, make some Thermite and melt your revolver, and get another one.
@@theonetrue8292 I'm a Chicago resident with a FOID, CCW, and a medical marijuana card. I can't carry an "open" weed container in my car with a gun, and I can't get caught with just any old weed in a sandwich bag, it has to be from our state. But honestly, that may have changed with our recreational laws too. And all bets are off when you're dealing with the feds.
This guy is wrong: DONT TALK TO THE POLICE WITHOUT A LAWER don’t give them an explanation before this. Don’t even consider talking before getting a lawyer in a self defense scenario
This guys recommendation to talk to police shows his ignorance. If you kill someone in self defense do NOT say anything to the police period. Only speak to your lawyer period. You are in no condition at that point or anytime thereafter to talk to the police. Only speak to your lawyer.
Just like I said at 3:57, it's best to keep quiet and ask to speak to your attorney. But if you do end up saying something, it is important to articulate it in the right way (as police reports and body camera footage are extremely important in a legal setting).

Proof Arizona cares less about the safety of its citizenry...
How’s that AZ is one of the most pro gun states in the union. But if your referring to the fact that the second amendment makes the state less safe than your a idiot liberal obviously.
