Nationally recognized as an American Treasure, Arizona State Museum’s collection of Woven Wonders - some 25,000+ objects - represents every indigenous basket-making group in North America, from 8,000 years ago to the present day. The collection includes examples of ancient, historic, and contemporary baskets and woven containers, innovative modern fiber art, and extremely rare fiber artifacts such as ancient sandals, matting, and cordage.
