Come on! I want a botany lesson on cacti! I can wait patiently. One busy body, concerned follower comment: both of my daughters & husband have urticaria, which is hives from cold temperatures. It most often causes the reaction as you are warming up. It can be dangerous, but mostly not. Take facial photos, and anywhere else it appears. Then show a Dr. Document temps, how long it lasts etc. My husband got it after scuba diving. My girls got it after playing in the snow, or walking in the cold air. Of course this might not be your cause. Keep safe.
Thanks! I will look into urticaria because I'm pretty sure it isn't a down allergy. Also, Kevin has some botany fun facts coming up just for you in a few videos ☺️🌵
Kevin, the fact that you give us all the fun facts negates any mispronunciation of words! It's just fun to hear you say what you say however you say it! Love following your journey!
or Cannoli hills? Cannoli is a rich Italian pastry and hills of them would be incredible. Maybe the upcoming town day and food led to a freudian food slip? Thanks for the enjoyable videos.
Padagonia was really cool! It's a great little town, and everyone is super friendly! Plus, the hotel was really nice... if it was hotter, we would have gone swimming ☺️
Roper is great! We just went to visit him a few days before we left MN to head down here. Yes, we are planning to be at AT trail days again this year 😁
Leah, does your face swell up most every morning while hiking? "Dixie" from Homemade Wanderlust has the same problem and thinks its a down issue. I hope I'm not offending you, just very curious. It is just so strange that two of the female hikers I watch has this issue in the morning and its completely down by the evening. Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well further down the trail. Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds.
No offense taken! I have been trying to figure it out for a while now. I thought it might be a down issue, but I did a test and slept with my same sleeping bag in our house and didn't wake up with a puffy face, so it's only on trail. Someone suggested it might be urticaria caused by the cold. Also, it has been suggested that it might be from dehydration as well. I may need to drink more electrolytes ☺️
@@kevinandleah1221Wow! I didn't now either of those two things cold cause that. Please take care of yourself out there. I really enjoy watching you two in your adventures. I just saw that your passage 4 video was just posted. I'm heading over there to watch it now. :)
I actually have a bit of a same issue, especially around the eyes. Its a bit annoying because I would love to wear contacts while hiking but its very hard to pry my eyes open enough to slip those bad boys in 😅
