Do you think it's natural that humans yearn for a home base and they travel less as they get older? I'm currently in the travel part of my life and an early retiree practicing slow travel overseas. Always wondering about the future. Thanks!
@@SevenWanderstheWorld gotcha. Just wondering if you feel yourself slowing down in your travels as perhaps you have "seen it all"and you now are building a bit of a home base whereas you were fully nomadic before and traveling overseas a bit more. Not that we are the same, but I'm planning for my own future and taking in data points from others a bit older than me. 🤙
I came from Ohio and the last few years have been down in Arizona, including Tucson, Phoenix, Bisbee, and Benson. It is wonderful and hope you like it a lot! I handle heat better than cold, plus lots of sun compared ot clouds. Happy!
That is awesome what you are doing . I love Bisbee and I had looked at a couple places to rent last year but I got tied down with some projects with my California property .
The floors look great ! Wait till you get get a 300 lb. Cowboy in there....😂 My mom used to live in Sierra Vista, lovely area of Arizona. Looks like you have room to run around naked outdoors. ! Enjoy !
@SevenWanderstheWorld I would consider buying in either Ajo, or Bisbee. Odly, they are both mining towns operated by the same Phelps Dodge Mining Co. I understand. We may be going through Bisbee again late April. I'll try to look you up if you're going to be around. Take care.
Just had nine 20 ton loads delivered for my driveway @ RidgeValleyRanch. Then I hired a guy to level it out. I need quite a few more loads as the depth isn't deep enough. Nice to get your update. Working on my tractor to get it out to the property and I bought a F350 for hauling and ranch chores.
@@SevenWanderstheWorld that was the intent. my neighbor said they did a perfect job for them, but mine was bad...big pile everywhere he went from one truck to the next...maybe not easy to do right, but I was disappointed. I also found that when shopping, I wasn't as aware of all the materials available and didn't determine what the best material was, but instead what company had the best deal and what they suggested. People in the area routinely use cinders, but they crush and become dust and require much more maintenance vs. rock, which in this area is mainly basalt.
