Honestly my choice for Mount in this case would be a Gallimimus, the terror of taming it would be worth the speed

Cant tame it without a longneck rifle. Its torpor to health ratio is too low for even a crossbow and tranq arrows

@Doug78146 I think it would have been too op if he had a flier. Could group all the Gigas while perched on a rock and put massive distance to all of them and as long as he plays it safe always take off if they make it over his way. However a good op ground mount for this challenge would have been an igaunodon for the infinite stamina since these gigas are slowd than vanilla

the fact that the gigas are controlled by his friends with invisible rider, weird that no one else noticed, real giga tracking wouldnt lose you in swamp trees, do you even Ark, plus the discord person disconnecting and reconnecting, they are waiting on words or phrases to have them trigger their entrance and drama

The terror bird was probably the play over the wolf. The arctic is too dangerous to attempt a tame without proper gear first. That, and the bird would allow you to camp on a cliff and hang glide off of it while the giga would have to find a way down. It's a more powerful raptor with a way to use geography to your advantage. The best would be a procoptodon, but that saddle...
