in case you where wondering what the trap displayed in the video needs for building i counted it : 72 pillars, 19 ceiling, 87 walls, 7 gates (6 for the leadway thingy and 1 for traping it),1 ballista, 2 foundations and 1 ghostbusters weapon (the charge lamp for you uncultivated scrubs)

Guys... I love nooblets but you only need 4 small Dino gates, hazard suit, decent rock drake, bear trap, glowpet, and metal shield and bam you got yourself a reaper. (If you let the baby eat you with your inventory full of meat it gets you through baby stage w out you having to check on it) just an extra tip

You make such organized and professional videos that you plan out and the effort you put into every guide really shows through...keep it up you always set yourself apart :)

friendly advice, a baby reaper will attack anything without that pheromone gland so best bet for containment is to trap it in a shed or a 2 wall high pen.

Honestly the best thing about this video is the meticulous, well-planned, flawlessly executed trapping of the Queen, contrasted with the utter chaos that is the baby immediately breaking out of confinement and savaging the Bulbdogs. Something about that combination is hilarious.

Well that's a unique way to tame/rise a creature for sure. At first I was thinking what do you mean get impregnated by a reaper queen.

Pro tip to add on this, build the birthing house as a one by nothing 2 walls high with a storage box filled with metal or stone. Walk in with as much meat as you can carry then close the door behind you and popcorn all the dead weight you put in the box then pick it up. Don't eat a pheromone gland and let the baby reaper kill you. It will glitch all the meat and extra weight in your inventory so it can't run around in baby stage since you can't command it. Spawn back in to claim it, then come back when ever you're comfortable and move it to a trough to finish raising it. One of the easiest tames to raise imo as it practically raises itself. Side note thank you nooblets for the channel, I've been watching you since day one on island when the game was 20 bucks in alpha. I just watched like 10 of old videos to reminisce over the good old days of flyer movement speed, random imprint timers, and no cryopods 😂 god damn this game has come a long way. Side side note. If you're playing with others and build a trap over foundations, the reaper can't bury under and you can all get pregnant by the same high level one so long as someone stays in render of it. Gl on your adventures survivors!

My version of the nooblets trap: make it 6 pillars shorter lengthwise, I made it 5 pillars tall instead of 4, I invert the walls because, when I come back she would occasionally be buried on-top of a ceiling and then escape the trap, so walls are on the inside of the ceilings then use foundations so she can't burrow and disappear, to force her above ground after I leave render range and come back I use a large bear trap on top of the foundation and it will "pull" her out of the ground I have around 23 reapers fully grown and ready to go and it's all thanks to Steve Nooblets!!! Couldn't do it without you mate!

this was super hard XD, like the moment she grabbed me random carno spawned and started bitting me after she dropped me i took healing potion and was hiding behind shield while nameless started to spawn again after like minute running around with shield up i managed to get of cliff and use glider to escape, but still hell of an experience :D

Turn the light on the bulbdog off! The light weakens the reapers and your bulbdog's light was on, that's why it attacked and killed it. You could see the smoky outline coming off the baby reaper which shows you it's being weakened. That's why it wouldn't stop freaking out and started attacking you when you picked up the bulbdog with the light on.

I got impregnated by my first Queen on genesis 2, I tanked it with my tek pistol on kill mode and kept shooting until it was at 1500 health, and surprisingly enough, the tek pistol survived and so did I, and now I’ve got a reaper king.

It’s almost 2021 and I recently started playing Aberattion and I can say with certainty that these are not very difficult to take with health brews, a rock drake, and good hazard suit. Not too hard, just be careful, make sure you have an ascendant shield (found three on the surface) and just stay close to your drake.

If you have mount powerful enough to take on queens like imprinted high level spino, rock drake etc you only need it and a charge pet. And since you have to kill queens to get glands you probably do. But many people probably don't and have to kill queens in a group so this tutorial is great for them. But if you have a mount that can solo queens you can use it instead of the trap which costs a lot of recourses and can't be moved. Firstly have a charge pet turned on and attack the queen like you do when killing it, wait until its really bloody and turn off your pet using emotes for 5 seconds and see if the queen glows red. If not turn your pet back on and bite her a few more times and turn pet off again. If she glows red dismount and then mount your drake/ spino (preferably drake) quickly. If you do that the reaper wont let you get away since it thinks you mounted to escape and it will grab you off of your saddle and impregnate you. I would put my mount on passive so if you get of it won't run around. You don't have to mount it again you can just stand on the ground and get grabbed but the reaper might attack your mount instead or you might get attacked by enemies nearby and hazard suit offers little resistance But I would grab a riot shield just in case anyway since you want minimum damage to your hazard suit but just in case take 2+ sets. That's how I got impregnated a few hours ago and its super easy. Hardest part really is not killing that queen accidentally. You can take a magnifying glass but you can't use it on the back of a spino but you can use it on a drake but I didn't so I had to turn off my pet twice before reaper had low enough hp. This resulted quite a bit of nameless interrupting. I advise rock drake because it has fast torpor depletion and it doesn't get knocked back as much as other creatures do plus you can use it to travel in the red zone more effectively and it can warn you if a reaper is close meaning you can't accidentally miss it. And if things go south you can use drake for a quick get away.

So I just got to say, this trap works 100%, for your first time make the pillars wider out she can move around, learned that the hard way. You wont get it the first 5 times, nooblets is a expert but it works.

I think it should be important to note that you need to have player resistance at normal in order for it to work it took me 3 impregnation animations and 7 Reaper queens before I got the impregnation

The Best Way To Tame A Reaper *Forcetame*

Hey nooblets i first started watching on your best solo base video and have more or less stayed caught up on all your vids and really appreciate the hard work you put in. Do you have any tips on how to keep ark fresh? Ive tried mods and everything but i prefer base game with multiplayer but cant stand official and all the unnofficial ive invested hundreds and hundreds or hours in just end up being wiped so got my own server and it gets boring to play alone on it. How do you keep it fresh?

Me and my tribe mate built the trap today and tested it out, it definitely works. Only we didnt use balista we just used our Rock Drakes to lower it then I went up to it with a shield waited for the sniff and got impregnated, then I went up and down the rivers in the Mushroom forest killing all the fish, sarcos, spinos, karkinos and any alphas I found while riding my Basilisk and got its max levels fairly quickly (Spinos are great exp). Just make sure you have a lot of glands or the thing will try to eat you until its Juvenile. I have it locked in a sealed chamber so I dont need to constantly keep the buff on. So... TLDR - It works very well.
