We should want Ark to change. Everyone complained that it was the same old game. They are teying to change it up so it isn't the same old game. And yes, they want to make money. They should make money. I plan to enjoy it!

Those complaining at a game that is WAY better than when it launched, and has more and more that keeps coming, need to stop whining, and actually try playing again (only issue is the requirements atm, but Sept.4th should change that :) )

This is easily one of the tamest microtransaction models I’ve seen in a long time. Ya’ll ever play Conan exiles?😂 We’re talking $30 for a season pass that lasts all the way through to extinction and maybe another 5 bucks every non canonical map. In a world where people pay 50 bucks for skins in a fps, I think Ark deserves some respect. We’re at least getting substance man. Things that shake the game up a little. And it’s not all that different. In ASE, if you didn’t pay for the maps, you’d either have to wait for the next map like rag, valguero, fjordur, etc to launch to hopefully get a taste of everything new, or just bite the bullet and pay for the dlc. It’s not thatttt different from where we’re at now. Pay for the dlc, in turn helping ensure they have the funds to continue pumping out maps, or don’t. It sucks. But it is what it is.
Maybe it will help more people actually have time for the game. Realistically, a lot of people move on from these types of games simply because they've gotten to a point in life where they literally can't play a game like this.
There are people that play official just for the interaction between tribes. For me I play official but I only play 3 days a week and seeing how other players build there bases are cool to look at. In my opinion I think the robot will help players like me or even solo players will help them survive. I mean it the machine is able to feed and harvest for you then that’s a win for solo and not every day players
That's a lie. They don't have time to gorg on the game like sum want to. It's way better playing this game as little as possible a day. Like an hour. 2 max.
Agreed I love ark it’s the best game I’ve ever played I have roughly 3400h into the game but that’s over the course of several years and now I’m at a point in my life I just had a baby he’s turning 3 months in 5 days and I’m also about to ship out to navy bootcamp the 9th of September I have 0 time to play this game to it’s fullest especially being a solo player without a tribe there’s just no hope grind for 9-10h straight to wake up raided it’s just too time consuming hopefully this little robot 🤖 will make it somewhat easier for solos and people like me who have little to no time to enjoy this game

The Sir-5rM8 is a great addition especially if your solo. Not sure if it's from PalWorld but it's pretty similar to the addition of Kelvin in Sons of the Forest.
My question is this... If we paid for Bob's Tall Tales when Scorched Earth was released, does that purchase include the new content coming with the release of Aberration... or does the new BTT content require a second $30 purchase?
It contains content for SE, Aberration and Extinction. Once you buy BTT, you won't need to worry about the content incoming as it'll be part of the purchase. So if you have it, be ready for airships and war rigs! Just made sure to double check that as well. Hope this helps answer the question.
To be fair since club Ark I’ve had a massive decrease in time spent taming. You get kibble and good resources from club Ark when you start up solo and that extra gear eg ascendant bow and master craft draft rifle defo helped as starter gear then tame your starter dinos. Argy. workers etc.Having access to kibble and better gear in the club ark makes the taming on official as a solo quicker and was so easy I think this robot will be good .
Like a lot of players, I paid for ASA and then a few weeks later it was announced it was coming to game pass and then Bobs tall tales was going to be available for almost the same cost as the game itself. Out of principle I haven’t bought it as I felt pretty robbed paying for a game that was then released for free shortly after. IMO they should have offered a discount on the DLC for those players that had paid for the base game
I could b wrong but if there is a mod downloaded on a server dont everyone have to download those mode to play on that sever? So would it b on official servers or only on personal servers? Again i dont knw 100% but if i have a dino mod i cant jump in official with it & nobody else could have this creature o have... right?
Lets be real, pfficial pvp mega tribes have been using discord controlled bot accounts doing this kind of thing auto crafting ADV or Medbrews or Element for years. This offers it to a general audience.
If they extend the time release then I’m ok with it I’ll be playing Star Wars outlaws in the meantime, I hear that this upcoming Star Wars game is gonna be really good, I baught the ultimate edition so I get to play 3 days early!! I could understand it defending or repairing or sorting loot but farming is absolutely absurd no way they are actually thinking letting that thing farm on its own is a good idea and no way even 1 person agrees and thinks that’s a good thing

i hope its gas powered, and you can use the bot as a solofarm mod and have him hop on an anky. that would be awesome. as a dude whos in a big tribe on official 1x i see no problem with this. its a fun, non game breaking, bot lol.
You can play ark how yiy want i think it gives the game longevity. That being said they need to fix the lighting and graphic issues otherwise ive been enjoying this
Monster Hunter/Elden Ring is one of the few big multiplayer games that have stayed away from pay to win/play. I hold ASE in that same world but ASA is so far from it. I know the games a different genres but games were massive and never released pay to win/play stuff. Ark fans just have to accept the fact the Ark (ASA) isn’t Ark(ASE) of old.
i like the idea of 30 bugs is enough content, but for me, I will not buy or play anything as long the unreal update is not here and it is playable, for me the unreal update is more important than new content
I understand we all loved Ark but I’m NOT going to just bend over and deal with this pay to win tactics. Me and my friends along with many others are fed up and done with this game. It just keeps getting worse.

It’s not worth it when the wild baby mechanic takes up spawn slots and dramatically lowers how full the maps feel with life. It’s just not worth it

honestly this is as pay to win as new maps were on ASE. at least bobs tall tales was a pretty decent price; imagine instead paying 15$ per map released?
Something i dont get about peoppe crying about paying for content is...how the heck do you expect them to keep the game and servers up without cash flow from thise willing to pay like 10+ dollars for something lmao do you want it to fail money wise like ase or.....what? 😅 they have dev salaries to pay and it aint cheap. I dont mind it, i've been playing with mods for a majority of my ark experience and will probably continue doing so in favor of it if the option is there. I'm not incredibly concerned for the P2W aspect because of this. along with hype (the oasisaur was rather underwhelming, i kinda just use it as a passive sulfur farm for my phoenixes).
