Thank you for this video. The rule book is all over the place, so this makes up for it. If there is a better written rule book, please advise so I can get a copy.
are your secret goals (brown cards with the hourglass) a part of your hand that needs to be discarded down to 3 or 5 at the break? it seems like it at 12:20 according to this video, but I thought those cards were separate. Thanks!
@capstone at time 4:59 , If my "CARDS" action are at level "II" and my action levels are at level 5, is that mean, I can draw up to 4 cards at the the reputation range? (Provided my reputation level is fulfilled)?
Just played my first game. It was…ok? I know it’s hot stuff right now but it feels VERY much like Terraforming Mars in a lot of respects; Card synergies, tiles on map, etc. Won’t be buying it but I get the hype for the most part. Just not for me.
@@pearldsouza7945 YES! I wish to retract everything I said! 😇 I’ve since played again… …and again… …and again… And then some! Bought the expansion as well. Excellent game! It’s funny, just about everyone I know had the same reaction I did: just didn’t “get it” on the first go. I picked up a used copy of Elysium yesterday ($5!) and got to talking with the guy and I asked “have you played Ark Nova yet??” And he said “yeah, we tried it and it’s just not for us…”. I was like “dude. I feel your pain. Believe me, try again!”. 👍
