yes u can still use them on officials, have to walk into the cave a little bit, like in the middle of the fist ramp, but keep in mind that u cant bring them into the overseer arena... the timer only apply to the cave it self, once you are teleported to the overseer arena, the timer doesnt matter... but gigas are not teleported into the arena, u have switch to rexes or reapers before the teleport pad that transfer you to the final arena.
