I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually beating maps under an ARK challenge. Unlocking the ending cinematics is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play some wild mods, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, maps, maybe even premium mods and official usually covering all maps from Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration to Extinction, Gen 1 & Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

Light crunch? Primitive is coming, Fear Evolved confirmed, Archelon is coming, WITH its sushi, confirmation that the Ascended Surprise is sort of on track. I'd say that's pretty good. Especially considering the early days of ASA, remember how long we had to wait for a crunch that revealed something worthwhile? But I'm glad they're holding higher standards for themselves :)

Extinction ends in somewhat of a cliffhanger, as you can hear something in the distance turning on followed by a roar. But they don’t explain how the player ends up on the ship. Hopefully this new map will fully explain how the players end up on Gen1.

I do hope for that too. We need to bridge that gap and it has to be epic. I was thinking it could be winter/cold map or something since it was rumored to be on the other side of the Earth where sun doesnt shine and we already have desert map but who knows. Hope it's gonna be good.

Yea, seen Tiia Aurora, my other favorite YTer, found an Archelon with her gene scanner, think it was an unofficial server, but she mentioned they didn’t have any mods active so it must have spawned wild. Seems they’ve already snuck it into the game before announcing it.

It is already in the game. I don’t have the modded version, but the saddle is appearing in my menu on aberration on my unofficial server. I bet you it’s on the center island exclusive right now though.

I have always hated that extra tranq shot you started just as the unconscious animation started and hence stuffs the training efficiency. Would it have been that hard to code tranq shots not damaging unconscious creatures. And then there is spamming narcotics and some meat spoils and bumps the key press to force feed something that stuffs up taming efficiency.

so what map is Archelon coming with... because on all the maps we have already we've probably all completed them so aren't going to be going back to them to tame something that could then potentially need sushi... extinction doesn't have water either and if maps take 30-60 days to open up transfer then it's not going to be needed on extinction since you'd already have completed it by then anyway

Question.. considering these mobs get officially added, can you safely uninstall the 'modded' version without losing your tames? Or do you need to re tame, rebreed the whole creature? Anyone who knows - I've been wondering for a while.

You can convert modded ones into the official creatures, so do that first before removing the mod or else you will lose them, but also, you can only get variants with the mod so I just keep the mods installed for them

The archelon is not a pay thing. it's the same with the cerato deinosuchus and xiph, so none of the ark additions will be paid, and they would have to get permission from garuga, the creator, and he would never allow that

actually arat prime would make no sense after extinction any1 that knows the lore knows we lose our ability to respawn at end of ext i rather subscribe to the addition to the gen saga it just makes more sense for the story. since gen has a messy and lazy story maybe a 3rd can fix it. tbh i dont think we ever will get to see arat in game only in the animated series
