Ark Single Player Settings Easy | The Ultimate Settings for TAMING/EXP/HARVESTING/BREDDING & More! 

Hey I just wanted to say thank you. I’m disabled {cerebral palsy} and I not the best at reading so thank you for going over everything

An amendment to my earlier post: I been using with the upmost little tweaking to your original settings, for nearly a month now. And though I've died a few times learning how to actually play the game. The way you present your settings as to what and why. Allows a completely new person to video games in general to get passed the most difficult portion of this game; The settings! Following your suggestions exactly, allowed me to play the game, though I still died quite often. But making little adjustments in the direction one needs, is extremely more easy, when comparing the default to yours in regards to increasing or decreasing the numbers. You and your presentation in regards to what and why the setting a beginner needs to set. Are a god send to anyone new to this game or just plain new to playing a video game in general. THANK YOU to the N'th degree!

Thanks! If I want grind, I can go to someone else's server lol sometimes I like to chillax and enjoy the ride. Aside from the breeding settings you've suggested, I tweaked mine even more and made it super easy. Just my preference so that I can get more experience and understand of mechanics before I go full grind on official or on my son's PVE server. You rock!

You have covered everything, excellent video. I am using the settings to get 3x rate event on harvesting and the other 2 to reduce the interval for them to mate again and for dinos to grow faster, I want to recover everything that I will loose when official servers close. I want to boost all their melee and hp so the best way is to keep breeding and wait for the mutations. My dino damage and dps are vanilla, I want all my boss fights and missions to be as close as possible to official. Thanks for doing this, thumbs up.

Very similar to what I have for my settings. Though I was having problems with the babies so very helpful. For the weight on mine I crank all of the slides to 6 just so I never usually have to put any levels in that stat.

BEEN USING THESE SETTINGS FOR MONTHS!! In my opinion, these settings are pretty much perfect for single player! These settings keep the grind in the game while also making it not too “grindy”. As another commenter pointed out, you have broken down the settings in such a way that it almost simplifies what is a very confusing and complex thing to grasp to someone new to the game(or even some of those playing for years I’m sure). The breakdown of how and where you put your settings gives you a really good understanding of what they all do so if you want to go back and tweak some things for your own preferences you can. (I mess around with my character and Dino stat leveling, a little with the “grind” settings like harvest amount, harvest health etc. I also “lower” my drop egg interval to only 0.10 as I was getting too many eggs and it was making my game crash. lol.) But my point is, I would of been absolutely afraid too do any of that before watching this video. Using this base and knowledge, anyone can easily set up what will be the perfect “grind” for oneself!!! And If you combine this video with his, Blowout Gaming, updated breeding settings videos, you’ll get a VERY pleasant single player ARK experience with the ability to 100% imprint any Dino’s you raise. The only thing I would suggest to change is to turn on PVE mode. It’s a box that needs ✅ to be turned on, in the General Settings tab. In essence, it enables you to use cryopods without fear of cryo-sickness. There’s no timer after you release a Dino from a cryopod and no cryo-sickness at all. Ive tested and it doesn’t have any effect on the mating timers I know for sure. I’m not sure if it affects any other key single player “grinding” or game mechanic aspects or settings though.

I was pretty much playing on default for mouths all I did was change the xp multiplier to 2 and Dino taming rate to 3 I thought that was the max this feels a lot better

With all the changes happening in Ark in their servers do you know will you be able to link your consoles up with your friends and still play art together? I turned my Harvest settings way up I'm building up my defenses and then I'm going to turn the Dino spawns and difficulty way up and see how long I last😅

I usually play with mostly default, but slightly boosting resource gathering and taming stuff. Something I've been curious about. Say you play at default difficulty (.2), and tamed low level dinos then leveled them up manually, would it still be possible to take on the bosses? Or do you have to tame level 150s and superbreed them to have any chance in the boss arenas? I am always seeing cool colored dinos, especially during events, that I want to get, but they're always super low level. I am wondering if I just lowered the difficulty to .2 and didn't worry about the levels as much, would the bosses scale down too?

My only concern is the Dino stat changing like if I tame a dino and boost its levels I don’t want it to be insane and even if it won’t be what about when I breed for super mutations. I’ve been on Xbox ark for so long and am transferring to pc and forgot my settings so I came here I’m just don’t want to be insane with an average dino and be unstoppable able to solo bosses with a mutated one? Any thoughts

this settings dont do the same for me, in the video you say baby mature speed 8, i have mine on 45 and it still take me like 2 hrs for rock drakes to fully grow so a giga or mosa would take me about 4-6 hrs possibly abit more so whats wrong? ( i dont use the single player setting ) the timer on dinos like mosa giga squid etc down to at most 20-30 min but still be able to imprint all dinos to 100%

personally i think this takes all the fun out the game

I've been trying to play this for two weeks. All games have a learning curve, but the setting in this game, have their own. Increasing somethings when you should actualy decrease them or visa versa, is driving me nuts. This using the setting you show has allowed me to start as a total noob to not only surviour video games in general. To stay alive long enough to actuall accomplish something and learn to play in the process. THANKS!!!

Third but no one could care less. I personally play at 0.2 difficulty usually, because it was the first difficulty I played on when I started ARK.

I did solo like you had shown , but everything l kill does not ever spawn , l have to go farther and farther away to get dinosaurs on solo and because l en not paying for my own server how do l reset the solo server because l think l have a glitched server and level 20 dinosaur take like 200 trank arrows to knock out

I am having difficulty for babies, I don’t want to imprint a thousand times, ( like 3 times for small dinos and like 5 times for rexes etc… ) but I just realized my first babies are completely broken ( overpowered stats) so I won’t use them. So how can I make the settings in order to have normal imprint boost stats, but just make them very more rare ( like I just explained )

The only bad about pvp is cryo sickness it drive me crazy expecially with high torpor dinos such as carchars

Iv had an issue I was wondering if anyone had an answer to. I tamed my first giga with higher scaling for the dino lvls but it does not increase like the other Dino's iv tamed. Any info on what I may have to do to raise its scaling as well would be appreciated.

My level cap in ark is around lvl 500 which requires around 3400000-34000000xp dont really remember so 1.85 xp multiplier probably isnt the best

Hi Blowout Gaming , I hope you are doing well. I have a question. How to increase the distance at which dinos can mate (mating distance). Gender for a male I could mate 50 females in a row. I am on a non-dedicated pc server and I know how to access the gameusersettings.
