Maaan, i like this one, so i decided to give it a go. Took about a couple hours just to get to your 10 minute mark. The game isn't saving at all now. Not sure what is going on today. I mainly only had this issue in single-player, but non dedicated isn't saving now. Lost every bit of 2 hours into this. Makes me not want to play this til this save issue is fixed 🙁
@kiitarie I guess not. When I signed on, I started next to my Quetzal I tamed yesterday...except she wasn't tamed now. She was knocked out and 49% tamed. I tamed her again and wanted to test out the save so I quit and came back. It put me back at the Quetzal in her 49% taming phase. This time I ignored the quetzal when loading in and went to my first base and exit then reloaded back in. The save brought me at the base, but the Quetzal is no longer at the spot she was being tamed. But since it brought me back to the base like I last was, I figured I was good to go and started building your house.....now it's gone though. No clue what to do now if I have to risk losing hours worth of my time 😒
Tbh, I wouldn't play either. I'm not a fan of wasting time. I had a lot of issues with crashes and losing progress early game release, but haven't crashed in a while.
@kiitarie One day I figured I'd stop the single player and went to non dedicated, and noticed my saves always worked there. I only used single player because I could pause it whenever. But non dedicated always saved. Guess it doesn't now. I'm actually pretty butthurt about this one. Lol. Never lost an almost fully built house. Mainly a bunch of tames and running around collecting things. Well, actually. I lost one of my trees houses before. The other 2 tree houses it connected to stayed and my inventory was somehow still saved. Keep up the good work though. I'll definitely be back if they fix this issue
Love the minimal and balanced detailing of this build. The contrast of the angled supports and the scale of the roof design works. Only a few tricks needed as the building leans on actual architecture to impress, not gimicks. This could be flipped inside out into a T instead of a bridge on a stone pillar. When used on Scorched Earth with so much roof space would be excellent for Wyvern access. Plus the heavy use of just wood elements means you could start simple and grow into this design, adding as you expand your resource base and engram list.
Another stunning build Kiitarie, you’re fast becoming one of my fave Ark builders! You make your work look easy, when I know it’s not! Well done on another beautiful creation ❤
This vid is so chill. I've subbed to you. Great work btw. I'm about to start my 1st base build but im looking for a nice clear area over-looking the ocean or higher up. 🤓
@@kiitarie i made a big base took me 12 hours to finish trying to make an igloo. But the problem is doing the base round. Would need to do the circle base trick or start with 6 triangles keep going out. I'll join your discord to show what i did. Problem is connecting triangle roofs with ramps.
This one was a little inspired off of a picture. But for the most part, I will wing it. Or I will find an element of a house I like and build around that. It really just depends.
Yeah the flying rocks on this pillar are pretty egregious. But like, I can't blame them. Having played with UE5, I know perfectly why/how they're like that and the reason it is. It has to do with optimization and the way they were scattered. Better to do a cluster of rocks than to have individual rock. But because it's a cluster, sometime the scattering can do things like that. They need to adjust the settings so the scattering isn't too relax with the requirement.
@@kiitarie Yeah. Like I said, it has to do with the scattering tool. The settings were too relax so it got put everywhere. They need to change the settings to be more strict so the scattering tools doesn't do that.
@@kiitarieyes that’s what I meant, thank you so much do you have interior design video as well? I think it would be an amazing concept for a video for newbies like me 🙏🏻
