Excellent video. Just got to where my tribe will be doing caves for the first time, and this is the next one on our list. Great guide! I appreciate all the detail and that you didn't cut large portions. I will probably have to watch this again if we get lost down there.
No problem! Glad it’s going to help. Once you do it you’ll be good it’s pretty easy especially if you guys use the grappling method, cuts down all that swimming!
still using your vids for the caves. I avoided them in ase and just had a tribe member get the arti's for our boss fights. But being solo in ASA I have to get them myself now 😆this helps so much. I am still looking forward to crystal isle, so I can just go pick them up off the ground. I hate the caves so much.
thank you for this video. I did step by step and got my artifact. I was able to jump with my baryonyx trough narrow road that leads artifact and killed mobs there too. I would prob have heartattack there walking without dino lol.
Those would be great additions, I didn’t add an extra dino because of the new cryopod meta and leaving your tame out near the start of the cave I don’t know if it’s just me but my tame keeps teleporting out of the cave like right up through the ground 🫠 then gets attacked by wild Dino’s I generally don’t plan on dying on runs but a sleeping bag would be ideal if you’re doing a full run!
Yeah unless I need lootcrates I normally skip the swimming, someone in the comments did say they came across mobs in the tunnel before so be aware of that before you unhook your grapple!
damnnn your grapple strat is beyond insane. combine that with a stag and you dont need to bring med brews cus flyers wont damage your player character, and you dont need a bary cus no need to swim since the loot here is mehhhhh
@@darealsnurbs2403 currently working on that this weekend to close off the island, quite tricky to solo, trying find a doable way with least amount of tames and resources
Great video tutorial. Well done. My only suggestion is trying to make it a little lighter as it’s a bit dark but overall great video and very precise 😊

I’m not sure but I’ve noticed sometimes i fall like a couple of meters then I get like bungee’d in split second where I go high then hit the ground and take a lot of fall damage for basically not that much distance fallen
I actually haven’t come across any in that room 🤔 sorry about that. I recorded my video with a fresh cave. I ran half way twice due to forgetting to record up until the temple

This is exactly the kind of guide I was looking for for these caves. Most of whats on youtube are just boring walkthroughs of people just barely giving any tips and just walking straight to the artifact. Im new to caves and such so im looking forward to more of these kind of videos from you. Cheers!
