The Quetzal is a monumental leap forward in technology! Great job! Regarding pearls: There is an underwater pearl cave in Viking Bay where you are hunting the lobsters. It has thousands of pearls in it and no angry lobsters or sharks. Look for it under the rock that reaches the surface next to the ship wreck. Take scuba gear or Lazarus chowder to breath. Enjoy!

Don't get stuck in there at night....man that was a long wait for the morning, haha. Good tip though, all the silica pearls you'll ever need. I left a comment on their Monkey Stack episode about a Basilosaurus, hopefully they see it so they can grab up some Black Pearls from the Euryptids and eventually Tusos.

You can put a rocket turret or a minigun turret on the quetzal and have a fricken flying tank that can pick up mammoths!!!

Chris Losey True, but it isn't very often that they Attack Wyverns or go after Eggs. If they were going out to Hunt specifically for Wyverns or Eggs then sure, but for everyday play it wouldn't make sense to have a Turret.

Doraleous, the boys need to get you a Griffin so you can call it Zephyr Blade! I think that would be a fun (and fitting) D&A reference. Griffins have an insane damage multiplier if you left-click attack an enemy while diving or climbing at high speed. Once you get a feel for gaining and keeping momentum, it's a bit like a blade swinging back and forth in the air. Watch your Stamina though because it goes pretty quick and they aren't so tough on the ground!

I can't wait to see what you guys build on that Quetzal! I do have to warn you though, the platform saddle can only support 40 structures by default so it can be frustrating to try and get everything you want built on it. I would recommend at least having a bed, mortar and pestle, preserving bin, campfire, and a smithy on board. The Quetzal's inventory can be used instead of storage boxes unless you want to be organized. That'll give you almost everything you could need while out and about on long journeys.

Also, you need to get an Ankylo now to accompany the Quetzal. This combination makes getting metal, flint, obsidian, oil, thatch, rare flowers, and rare mushrooms much faster and easier. Just have someone ride the Ankylo while it's being carried by the Quetzal and then fly the Quetzal close to metal/oil/obsidian rich rocks and have the Ankylo rider attack the rock. You can get so many resources this way so fast and you don't even need to touch the ground!

If you look in the Classic Flyers description there's an ini setting that allows the Quetz to regain stamina while flying - you just dismount, stand on its back and it regains stam. And yes, you can put Ragefang on the platform.

This series inspired the hell out of me when I was into this game I. 2016-18 I got my own griffin solo and was going for a quetzal but my ass fell asleep finally caught it by using the tapejara attack/ride option.

This was actually pretty inspirational. Playing solo exclusively I've never been able to successfully tame one in my attempts to do so. I've managed to tame one once. But only managed to do so after finding one trying to fly through a giant rock. lol. Considering maybe using a flyer with the lowest following distance combined with the use of parachutes. Will have to science the hell out of trying to mount a flying tame while using a parachute.

Did you guys just tame a lvl 72 over a 120? You’d get much better stats in the long run with a higher lvl, more metal and what not from resource runs. Also if you eat a rare flower I believe it is, Dino’s that wouldn’t normally attack become aggro’d, might be handy if you ever tame another.

When you guys needed silica pearls, and went to the ship, you were right next to one of the best friends places to get them on the map. Right behind the ship there are is some y’all see weed and if you swim through it you’ll enter an underwater cave. All over the walls there are silica pearls. Also if you go way out into the ocean and tame an angler fish (they don’t even need saddles) they collect more silica pearls when you bite them.

I know you guys are building but *I seriously miss the explorations and travelling aspects of your ark videos.* Can you guys go on explorations for a few episodes? I kinda want to see the map and how beautiful it is. And please, explore via land mounts like Thylacoleo. Flying is great, but seeing the map at ground level is great too. You guys are missing a lot when flying. I seriously miss the exploration aspects of your videos that are always present on the previous I guess I would call "seasons" of this series. I honestly don't want to see you go on little quests especially while flying for awhile.

+Crazy Cat Well, I said Thylacaleo so we can just see them get startled by it when they try to get one. xD And it's good for climbing rocks and cliffs that are on the way. It could be any land based animal. Not rushing them anyways, just asking if they can and stating that I miss them exploring like what they usually do in the first ten or so episodes back then. Though I seriously loving how fast they are progressing this time in terms of getting better dinos.

I like how thick asks where the griffins been after finding him.....you could see it land there when you thought you lost him....if you guys even checked your footage or comments you’d of found him a long time ago. Simon you’re a legend by the way!
