That's what happened yes They never feed babys they got lucky with the big dinos because they have a decent amount of food so they don't starve. But with little animals they should give food. And otters only eat fish ... And, of course, this will also depend of the server settings.

Eternal Expiditionist Realm and they thought that the mom ate it. Which it only is doing because they have it set to harvest dead animals. It’s just watching two idiots who don’t know how to play the game. Hell, Simon suggested clubbing the otter even tho he has already tamed an otter. There was a whole episode where Simon wanted to find an otter.

Whoever imprints the baby gets a boost when they ride it. It gives the Dino like a 20% damage buff and like a 20% damage resistance buff. But it only works for the person who imprints the baby. It might be a 30% buff I’m not sure

The percentage boost depends on the imprinting percentage. Max is 30 I believe.

How’s it going guys? My wife just gave birth to our second daughter two weeks ago, and between having family over, trying to get time off from work, and getting the house ready, I have saved the past four arks to watch in one sitting. I’ve been saving the two hour marathon for those quiet, still moments of the night when I’m waiting for her to get up, and I finally watched the other night. Combined with a cold beer and the loneliness of my living room at 3 am, you guys kept me up and lively and full of joy so I wouldn’t take out my lack of sleep on my wife or newborn daughter. I’ve been watching y’all for years, and you’ve come in clutch when I’ve needed you the most. Thanks for filling the lonely silences and keeping my spirits up in these trying times. You guys are the best, and I look forward to spending more time with you on baby-crying filled nights

Simon, I'm not sure, but I think when the baby otter is first born you have to hit it with your club. But be careful not to accidentally feed it. Whatever you do, don't feed the babies. They are like mogwais in that regard, except that it is ok to get them wet because, you know, they are otters after all and they live in the water. So, yea... more cowbell and clubbing.

You just have to give the baby otters fish right away. Same with the adults. They only eat fish, so if there is just red meat in your trough, they will starve to death. Babies don't eat from troughs, so you have to put fish meat in their inventory. The momma ate the baby after it died of starvation because she was set to gather resources.

Yes, some animals need food immediately to survival. This is particularly true for smaller animals. I had the same thing happen with a dodo once. Check the food gauge on the parents. The baby's food gauge with be about 1/100 that of an adult (at least it was last I tried). When the animal's food gauge is about 1/10 that of an adult, it is can eat from a trough.

Dora and Simon together is always the best, so entertaining. I would like to see that happen more often. Maybe give them their own camp and let them survive on their own for a bit. That will be one way of seeing who is the most adapted to the game, and I feel that could lead to some very comical content.

Obligitory tips and ticks that you guys will ignore (but maybe help someone else) Otters eat fish and only fish, if you're planing on breeding some otters, take something large and bitey to your local fishstocked river/lake/coast/swamp and just go fang fishing (bite around in the water), fill up on as much fish as you need and then breed away. otters have a special skill outside keeping you warm by being an adorable living scarf: when ordered to kill fish they will sometimes bring you back pearls, even black ones, having a little swarm of otters can make you a decent ammount of pearls without having to brave the dangerous depths. there are all kinds of shenanigans you can get up to with parachutes and Grappling hooks, if you grapple onto a wyvern's tail and paracute and release mid spin as it tries to get you, you can lauch yourself a decent distance away, you can also do a varaiety of Paraglidings and other offences against gravity.

I love the contrast of the adventures in this episode. On one hand we have 2 people who are unsure on how to even tame a little otter and struggle to grasp the basic concepts of the game. NEEBS AND CREW PLEASE READ THIS ok so in 2016 my disabled,9 year old sister went into the hospital for six months.Basically her intestines wrapped around each other and she was not expected to live for long,I was twelve at the time and just got Battlefield 4 and I was hooked.I was watching a JackFrags video home alone in Mississippi while my parents were in Alabama on the megladon Easter egg and he mentioned BFFs and I said "Hey,that looks really funny" and thus my love for BFFs and Neebs gaming was born,I watched all of your vids and eventually my dad asked me about battlefield and I told him to watch a few of your vids and he really liked them.It wasn't until he watched your "PT" vid and he absolutely loved it and then we would watch all of your vids together and that REALLY took the blow out of that terrible summer.If it wasn't for Battlefield,Overwatch,My brother my brother and me,and Neebs gaming that summer would have been a lot worse and even two months later my parents got divorced and you guys still helped me and my dad through some terrible times and now to this day I still play BF4 from time to time,I still play Overwatch a ton and above all I still watch you guys with my dad and my sister miraculously made it through her months in the hospital. and I just want to say...THANK YOU SO MUCH,for so many laughs during the worst time of me and my dads life... nice episode guys. neebs appsro and thick did a good job finally getting that artifact. BUT WHO COULD FORGET THE VALIANT HEROES WHO KIDNAPPED OTTERS WHILE ALMOST DYING. Simon and Dora are the true producers of this series. I bet the baby otter was a villain and momma otter was just saving our valiant heroes from the death of the chosen ones.

its a long time til november for extinction and it will probably be delayed just like aberation was last year. its content, why wouldnt they do the optional bosses? its better than the goofy scripted boring stuff, the views are falling off of ark and 7 days because they're not doing anything. plus they gotta go back to the island and smash all the bosses if they want to do tek tier

I still say pssshhhhhhh - I bet them tackling the ice queen and the desert dungeon will give them plenty of content and then prepping for the ragnarok boss fight - besides, everyone is stoked to see the end to the barmory cave struggle - especially them! Maybe they can come back to it after a dozen episodes - let them enjoy winning for once :)

I just figured why Anthony never gets any credit, he's the standard of Neebs Gaming. I'm not saying that in a bad way, your standards are much higher than most youtubers and since Anthony's been around Neebs Gaming for so long he's like the center of the balance, his job hits the comfort zone so we know when someone does an awesome job editing GTA videos like Neebs and when someone screw up their shits like Doraleous on scrap mechanic.

Well sometimes you've got to do with what you have. I mean of course I'm not in your shoes so I don't exactly know what you're really living I'm mostly assuming what's going on. The least I can say is that the camera angles, the pacing and the music is still pretty good, take what you want, I only hope you'll get better for it.

What do you do when Ark hands you a bag of lemons, and kicks you in the nuts, too? My husband and I are playing Ark - the base game - and a Titanosaur just wandered through our Redwoods base, hit our spiked barricades, aggroed, and killed everything we own in under a minute. We had at least 8 stegos, a pteranodon, 4 turtles, 2 iguanadons, 3 baryonyx, a sarco, 5 dilos, 6 raptors, 2 parasaurs, 2 lystrosaurus... you get the picture. This is the most epic soul-crushing blow Ark has ever handed us.

I actually thought that Dora and Simon's adventure was a success! Good for Dora for actually figuring out the otter tame method, though; Simon wanting to bring out the clubs had me laughing. Maybe if the two of you ventured out a little bit more and relied less on the other guys you could get up to speed faster? Perhaps smaller missions like this one. First an otter and next a medium-large carnivore! Maybe the thylocoleo? Not to replace Ella, of course, but they are an awesome upgrade from the sabretooth and have more HP.

Baby otter died of a heart of attack due to an overload of emotions. You see it couldn’t fathom how two grown men who’ve been playing a game for this long wouldn’t be prepared in any way for the arrival of a new baby! Still, it wouldn’t be Neebs gaming if even the simplest of tasks didn’t pose a challenge. Good on you boys.
