A few honourable mentions that just missed out on the Top 10: Desert Drops - Ragnarok (Super quick deep sea loot to farm, 4 crates to pick up in only 5 different locations) Surface Drops - Aberration Treasure Chests - Fjordur (The only other underwater crate worth running, has a lot of locations to check but great for deep sea loot and unique DLC creature saddle BPS) 😎 Genesis 2 - Supply crates/Beacons & Missions (not so great to find BPS but if you're looking to find some of the best loot in the game the map is great in general, as you can find alot of pre-made tek items etc)
@@barra1148 Not better because they take longer to find but they are worth it as they do drop DLC creature saddles which no other deep sea loot will drop :)
Great video, appreciate actually listing the type of crates and their drop lists. Surprised to not see aberrations surface drops on the top 10. Those are arguably at least top 5 IMO.
I love how the 2 methods on Crystal Isles are the best but the easiest! Thank you for showing us the loot tables with evidence in gcm, really puts things into perspective!
My main base is on Fjordur and I have to say my favorite caves is The Frozen fortress and the Aberration cave that only has 2 drops in it, this video is awesome! Good job Bey!
you can solo purple drops pretty comfortably with some strategy, and be prepared to sac some tames. mainly i used hp leveled rexes around 10 or so deployed in each 'lane' where the creatures spawn to stall waves while using mate boosted imprinted giga (mine had some melee mutations, asc saddles) for the player mount. it is important to focus down the enraged creatures as they appear as they buff everything nearby including other enraged creatures. i would not recommend pushing past wave 6-8 and some spawn locations are much easier to block the lanes than others. snow owl for healing between waves where you can but some rexes are probably going to die, good use of redundant boss squads, apparently there is a multiplier on the loot quality the higher wave you survive to, purple OSDs have unlimited waves you must manually end the run by interacting with the beacon. i think overall speed running red OSDs taking no losses is better for efficency but it is fun to see how high you can roll the tek BPs from purple with the bonus waves
quick tip for osd-s if you want an easier time getr a carcharo they heal when they have 100 stacks and deal a lot of damage. with a good saddle you are able to solo purples until waves 12 but only do it till wave 7 though for max loot
@@dzithirst9337 the higher wave you go the more loot. But after wave 7 its mostly extra cryopods. Aswell as a higher chance to get countered when playing on a pvp server
Very nice quality video. Details are great for those bp farms. Only issue is there are better spots to get bp's so the list isn't very accurate. For example you dont have Gen 2 anywhere on the list and it's the only map you can get over capable bp's. The 2 island caves spawn loot at a lower quality than other places, so even if I spent days farming them I wouldn't get anything that beats the bps from CI or fjordur
Those Underwater caves are the best for BPS in my opinion, even compared to Fjordur loot, proof is in their loot tables i'd say, like you can get a Rex saddle BP from the blue drops, they are crazy good man! Gen 2 isn't great for BPS though in my opinion, great for loot from the land drops and missions but I have got some good BPS from the loot boxes that you buy I must say! Just depends if you have the hexagons!
Thank you! I personally think OSDs are the best in terms of quality and when compared to Gen 2 I feel like you have to farm A lot of supply drops/missions/loot crates to get the blueprints you want, it's more loot based rather than blueprints, definitely the best map to pick up high tier loot though! Unless I just got very unlucky when playing that map for 5 months haha! But honestly I had very good luck in the Island underwater caves, got my 119 armour Rex saddle BP from there and loads of other good saddles. Appreciate the feedback! I will add Gen 2 to my pinned comment though, I agree it's an OP map to find Tek loot!
@@BEYPlaysGames @SlippSlapClap yeah osd's are the best for a lot of things because it drops higher quality bps than other maps. Gen 2 the bp farm is missions and the main reason it's better than other maps is the non grind able icon. A 90 armour bp can craft to over 124 armour
Yeah they're probably the easiest and quickest way to farm 4 deep sea loot crates in the game, Snow drops from Crystal Isles are also just as quick but they just drop better loot which is the only reason why the Rag desert drops didn't make it!
@@BEYPlaysGames I'm not too familiar with crystal isles so I didnt even know about those loot crates there. Kinda did not like the map when I gave it a go, but I might go give it another try at some point.
I have a alt account xbox. I just occasionally log onto that character hidden in that cave. Run around grab the drops try to find some to hide my char and log off back to my main character
Awesome video man, super helpful! Very well made, love how detailed your videos are! Now I know exactly what caves are the best for certain blueprints!
Man thank you so so so so so much man i have been trapped on the island and didn’t know how to cave with my op shadowmane , i am always afraid from the damn cnidiria
For purple/red OSD all you need are some decent carchas not even super mutated or with good saddles due to the incredible regen they have along with very high damage
I don't really think much of that cave, yes it's easy but there's basically a guaranteed 2 of those crates to be Scorched Earth ones and those are my least desired crates and the other red drops just drop ghillie and fur half the time for me. The only good thing i noticed is that you can find Armarga saddles from them but I don't even use the thing lol
Extremely surprised that you didnt mention the canoe fishing spots on fjordur, the easiest most relaxing and highest lvl BPs I have ever got for saddles/guns/armor/etc.
Yeah I do agree it's great for BPS if you're lucky but you do have to be patient with it I find, I sit there for 20-30mins and get nothing good so get bored and give up but then I see other people get good blueprints, I just don't think it's that great tbh! I haven't even been fishing since that time 🤣
I will test it out tomorrow and let you know, I'm hoping that it's a case of wherever you can find Giga saddles then you can find a Carcha saddle, but I will let you know! Glad the video was helpful!
Surprised the jellyfish cave (as I call it, idk the exact name, but there are TON of jellies down there) from...Lost Island I think...? didn't at least get an honorable mention. 2-4 red crates all in the same room and they respawn once an hour I believe. Basilosaurus is pretty much required because of how many jellies there are, but that's about all there is in terms of enemies so it's very easy to go loot the crates and get out. Also farming desert crates on Lost Island has gotten me some solid loot as well, though I haven't played Crystal Isles or Fjordur yet to experience most of these showcased methods.
Yeah tbh they are good methods, I used to run the underwater jellyfish cave on there but when you've played all the other maps a lot and ran the other methods you do realise how much better they are than others, that Jelly fish cave and the Labyrinth puzzle maze are easily the best from Lost Island.
Yeah those caves are great for Lost Island but in terms of quality and quantity I really don't think they can compare to any of these, puzzle cave for me personally isn't all that great when looking at the loot I get from it lol, and those drops in the underwater cave will only give deep sea loot stuff if i'm not mistaken which honestly, I'd rather just go run method 3 on the list which is higher tier loot or just do Ragnarok desert drops😁
@@BEYPlaysGames Ah nice, yeah I like the layout of Lost Island, probably my favorite so far, plus it has Maewings which are my favorite traveling tame. Still need to play Ragnarok, Crystal Isles, and Fjordur though and I've heard mostly good things about all of those, especially Fjordur. Thanks for the vid and reply btw! Will check these spots out as I explore the other maps 👌
@@alexithymia6288 Oh yeah! Maewings are a must on Lost Island, I think it's actually the biggest map so far! Oooh! You're in for a treat, I think Rag and Fjordur are my favourite 2 maps!! You're welcome! No problems at all!
Hi brother thank you for your super detailed video, just to tell you that I did all the location of the bicon in the ocean, and I went to the exact location of the bicon in the cellars but I didn't find any. Do you know how I can adjust it, a parameter may be, I don't know. If not continue, you're videos, they're great(I'm on The Island)
Thanks mate! Appreciate the kind comment! You're not playing Single Player by any chance are you? That usually only happens in Single Player! Normally can be fixed by logging out of your game and re logging which should fix crates and artifact spawns in the area!
@@BEYPlaysGames Yes that's what I did restart my game several times reset the default settings too but nothing does I still don't see the artifacts, yes I'm a solo player, I'm going to uninstall and reinstall the game maybe it will adjust, thank you for your quick answer broit's cool
@@marvincarpiot1540 No worries! :) I don't think you need to reinstall it! Single Player always does that with areas that you haven't visited in a while! So either if you hang around the area for a while they start to spawn in or leaving the game right before entering the caves and rejoining always works for me and artifacts and drops are already there once I head inside!
Can you make a video about bps from titans and the kingtitan and how to get overcapped bps on gen2. I no expert but I heard you can get insane bps from these. Would be interesting if this is true.
For PvP servers, numbers 5 and 4 aren't available since they're hard UW and easy UW cave respectively which is commonly an alpha spot where big tribes tend to live. Lost Island's Labirynth cave wasn't on this list, is it not worthy?
I guessed alot of caves would get blocked on PVP servers tbh, it's a great cave still! But I did run it 40-50 times back when I played Lost Island and compared to other caves the loot just isn't as good in my opinion!
@@BEYPlaysGames thanks for your answer, also does the place afects the quality of item/bp?for example deep seed as chance to drop better qual tools than cave?
@@paulosilva-tz8el No problem! Red crates in general do have a higher chance of dropping better quality of items! The Underwater crates from The Island map caves tend to drop the best quality out of any of the crates too!
@@paulosilva-tz8el Depends on what kind of red crate it is as they have different loot tables but i'd say standard red and yellow cave crates would be the best bet to find a good pick axe bp!
Fjordur underwater treasure chests and The Frozen Fortress (Number 7 in the video) Have both dropped them for me before! Best bet would be to run the mission form Genesis Part 1: This Little Light of Mine...pretty sure that is where I found my saddles and i'm sure it dropped me a Blueprint also!
Could you please explain how you're able to loot all contents so quickly, without having to move your mouse cursor to & clicking the loot all UI button or mousing onto each item? AFAIK, none of the keybinds work without pointing to an item first.
The beauty of playing with an Xbox controller haha, the LB button takes everything from the inventory. I'm not sure what the controls are for PC but from what I have seen there isn't a quick way to do it like that but i could be wrong!
@@BEYPlaysGames Wait, so you're playing on PC but just with a controller? I hope I understood that correctly. After asking my question to you, I found some info about that xbox control you're talking about, and people asking the devs to make a hotkey for PC like xbox has. I assumed it would only work on an xbox console (and probably PS4/5?), period. If all I need to do is have access to "Xbox LB Button", then i could use a software like reWASD, (or many others) and bind a keyboard key that emulates a controller button. Thank you for the reply! Also, the video was very helpful and enlightening. I didn't know loot tables were shared between maps as much as they are.
@@robotman2530 That is correct! Mouse and keyboard is still the more versatile input ofcourse but there are some real nice qualities too while using controller and that is one of them, it's great for taking all quickly from your deathbag if you died in a terrible location too! That sounds rather confusing to me haha, i'm still pretty new to PC but i'm sure there is a way! Thanks again! Super glad the video was helpful!
Fjordur is the best bet, The Frozen Fortress (Number 7 on the list) is the best method by far for finding them, or you can find them in the deep sea loot/treasure chests on Fjordur, this video has most of the locations with a few more spots in the pinned comment! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m4LhTSA2GDg.html
Is that the Puzzle/booby trap cave from Rag, nightmare of a cave to run not gonna lie haha. They may be good drops but it isn't easy to run at all compared to the caves in the list! Unless there's something I am missing XD
@@BEYPlaysGames Yes that's the one 😅 And yes, at the beginning it's very hard, but I normally run it (legit) in 18 minutes {16:24 is my actual best time} and with crappling hooks and Thyla I run it in 10 minutes. (not for bragging, just to show that even an non-pro-player can learn how to do it) And after a few runs it gets really easy and has some of the best blueprints I've found in a few years. 😅🎉
That's fair enough, i'm not going to disagree with the quality of loot there, just never really heard of anyone farming that cave for loot before 😁@@kakkaduu22
He's not overencumbered or slot capped so it all would have gone into his Giga's inventory along with the saddle blueprint, he just got unlucky. Sometimes it be like that and other times you get 5 good quality items.
None for the centre? That's not good that's where I've started my new games. Where is best on the centre or am I going to have to travel to other maps? Just looking for a good longneck or BP
Sadly not, it's not too great of a map when compared to other methods but when I used to play it on official I would always run the East Lava Cave, 3 red drops will spawn in there and I found some good stuff overtime like Rex saddle, Flak, Longnecks and Pump action shottie BPS!
Not yet. The barrier was bugged too. Some I could go through, some not. I entered through waterfall. After the fight everything worked like it should, drops spawned and I could leave the arena through every way.
And why is there no Lost Island labyrinth and underwater cave? These caves should be in the top 5! As well as loot boxes in the desert on the Scorched Earth.
They're not that great compared to these methods, lost Island Labrinth is a decent cave though for the map! And the underwater cave is still decent for deep sea loot stuff (assuming it still has the double spawning crates) :)
Naaaa those caves are a pain, i ran the Labyrinth cave like 50 times and only got a few items I wanted, desert drops are good from Scorched but there's way better land drops, there's like 20 locations to look on Scorched whereas Rag desert drops has 5 locations and 4 drops, Crystal Isles snow drops...once again 5 locations and 4 crate spawns, those are all better methods dude!
Most of the methods are pretty good for finding them, maybe the methods with more crate spawns are best as more of a chance of finding them in the yellow and red crates so methods: 10 and 8 are good caves to run. All 3 underwater caves are good for them too! I found my 112 ascendant BP in the Caverns of Lost Faith from a yellow drop!
@@martinpasfall5117 When I think about it, you are correct. I'm pretty sure you can fly up to the tiny crack entrance and you hit an invisible wall and can't fly any further? I haven't played it in years tbh, memory is a little foggy!! Probably why it was stuck in my head that flyers can't fly in there at all.
@@martinpasfall5117 Yea! I realised this when I thought about your comment and realised I took a Wyvern in there last time then cryo'd it before going into the main cave🤣
Didn't forget, they are great though but The Snow drops are much better from Crystal Isles! More variety of loot, Rag desert drops only drop deep sea loot but it is the best map to farm 4 deep sea loot crates! That's why it is added to the pinned comment :).
Crystal Isles Snow Drops, Ragnarok Frozen Dungeon (last 3 crates after defeating the Ice Worm Queen), Ragnarok Desert Drops or anything that drops deep sea loot is your best bet to find them!
Yeah i'd say Deep Sea loot crates, method 3 in the video would be best and as John said The Frozen Dungeon from Ragnarok (No 9 on the list due to 3-4 crates that spawn within the cave) Rag's desert drops are also great Deep Sea Loot crates to grab as they are all close together so an easy 4 loot crates!
@@Stephain Yeah man! That cave is so good for loot! This video really does give it the love it deserves! I’ve had a few unfortunate deaths in there also but like you said! It’s worth the risk! Found my ascendant Desmodus saddle BP in there and also the best ascendant giga saddle I’ve ever found!
