I love Florida for so many reasons, but can the judges get themselves in check? Sometimes those scores are a bit high, other times a bit low. I just want Florida to stay healthy and smash the championships at the end of the season. They are so overdue a title at this point, their roster is _insane._
I love this energy that the alligators' fans transmit, they are the best. I love this commitment of the gymnasts, even if they are injured they will give support to their teammates. 🐊
Arkansas team was a bit off but I think they were underscored as usual. Some routines from Florida were overscored in my opinion. Sorry if my english isn't good enough. Thank you for all your uploads. Greetings from Argentina
I love how Florida controlled their every move. Leanne is just impressive a 10, ok but when will Megan, Sav will get their 10s? Finally, A NEW dismount for Riley, And Alyssa 3 tume SEC beam championship never get her 10 im mad, i love trin on vault the way she travel tho and her beam wow, Leah beam the only triple
can someone tell me how do the judges see any of floridas bar landings with that clown standing literally 1 inch away from the girls and blocks the view completely??? can they deduct points for that? like dude move the fuck away jesus
Great meet! Love both teams leotards. Great vault and floor from Nya. Great bars, and vault from Leah S. Great vault, beams and bars Leanne! Leanne is awesome! Perfect 10! Way to go Leanne! Congrats on first AA! Great vault and bars from Trinity! Perfect 10! Way to go Trinity! Great bars Riley is awesome! Great bars from Megan! Great vault and bars from Savannah! Great vault and floor from Kennedy. Great beam from Sloane and Alyssa! Great beam from Leah C.!
I wish the commentators would stop calling graduate students "super seniors". A super senior is someone who was supposed to graduate, but didn't and now has to repeat their senior year. Not the same as a graduate student.
great meet from both teams! :) but again i dont understand some of the scores. what the f*** did they deduct on Alyssas floor routine? looked perfect to me! can anybody explain that to me?
Just now started the video but MORGAN HURD IS BACK!!!! She's always been one of my favorite gymnasts. She's not competing, I think she's coming off another surgery but I'm so happy to see her back in any capacity!
Morgan, Ellie & Halley out for season. 1st 2 will likely get and take a "red shirt" for this season. Halley likely won't take one even if she receives it. Been unable to find out about Sydney coming off her achilles rupture @ Regionals last year. She hasn't competed in 2022. Maybe a red shirt too ? Then... with the addition of Kayla DiCello, Anya Pilgrim & Shilese Jones as 2023 freshman commits, Jenny will have fun for a long time choosing the 24 slots per meet 😀 😲 👏 👏 !!!
I do not normally post on the gymnastics kind of things due to my inexperience of the sport BUT I do have one thing to say. MY GOD! The razorbacks beam ever since Kyla took over have you noticed the focus the patience how less and less mistakes and stuck standings there is. I am not taking away from the gymnasts they are the ones actually doing it but Damn Kyla has made a difference as well as Felicia On vault but time is always a factor perfection will come or just great effort and leaving it on the floor.!!
From the top: are we not allowed to care that Sav S's legs are bent throughout her vault?!? 🧐 9.95? Sweet Jesus. I realize and respect that Fla is an awesome and dominant team, but Trinity's same vault was so much better. Let's please differentiate properly on the 10.0 scale! Judges: do better. Show respect for the sport- F would have the win regardless here but maybe don't make a mockery of your job. *and: can't Nya Reed be great on floor yet you do comment when she bounces out of a landing? Hard 🙄 🤷♀️ not sure fair scoring is possible but just saying.
@@masonlovesroblox bc 10 pts scoring are stupid. Sometime deduction. Sometimes none. Commentators could also do a better job at explaining why one is 10 and the other a 9.9 instead of just "Wow look at that score."
I was there, after all routines done, there was a score inquiry for Alyssa. Rule books pulled out by judges. Her score was changed out of a 10. They ended up giving her a 9.85 instead of the 9.75. If you look on the video. They said final UF was 198.150 but it changed before awards given out to 198.250. I think she was still very much underscored at a 9.85 for that routine.
What was the issue with Alyssa Baumanns routine? I assume some sort of start value problem where she didn’t get credit so she didn’t start out of a 10? Maybe her leap series?
She has a 10 start value. This team of #@*!₩☆♧# FX judges underscored both squads... and especially the 2 pass routines. Gators ought to have had a 49.6 team FX score imho
@@DanTowey maybe they saved some points from the earlier routines to overscore Nya... i love Nya on floor but how can they give a 9.95 with two unclean landings? and what has Alyssa to do that they finally give her the 10? she deserved it multiple times and never got it. that makes me angry.
They didn't think she had a leap series connection as it wasn't fully rotated or something of the sort, that's why it didn't start from a 10.0. But they updated it and gave her a 9.850 after the meet ended, meaning they updated it to a 10 start value but kept the deductions for the not fully rotated jump is what I heard.
@@natascha_o Per @JennyRowlandUF: Alyssa's routine was originally given a 9.90 start value. After the inquiry, her start value was raised to a 10.0 because of a missing leap connection value. The deductions would remain the same, she gained 0.1 in start value. That is what Jenny said after the meet.
I feel like Leah smiths double lay on bars is a little pike-y. Not as bad a Aloyna (I don’t think I spelled that right) from lsu. Big Arkansas fan, bummed they didn’t do great on bars
y’all will prob disagree with me but the only overscored routine was trins vault i thought everything else was fair or a little underscored (only rlly for floor)
Ok first of Sarah Shaffer stepped out of balance on the last pass and I thought she stepped out of bounds when she stepped into the corner for her first pass!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY OVERSCORED
Sometimes, I see Chris Brooks's upper body in an athletic cut polo shirt, and I think to myself _Yaaaas Jordyn! You got that shit, girl!_ and also _how's your brother?_
Kojo Baidoo it’s okay… I mean compared to every 10 I’ve seen by gymnasts this year, in my eyes, her performance was a 10 🤷🏾♀️ we’re all entitled to our own opinions though 😊
@@fayeraye you shouldn’t use other routines or gymnasts to justify someone getting a ten. Sav had an excellent vault, but she has form in the air that is clearly visible in real time. I think 9.9-9.95 is a justifiable scoring range. Bars she has flexed feet in the very beginning of her jaeger and is almost always late on that final handstand pirouette. Once again an excellent routine, but I think 9.975 is def too high. 9.925 max
@@ianj2760 I'm sorry, you need to get ur eyes checked, flexed feet on Jaeger? Where? She might have been a little short on that blind change, tho she was in the deduction free area for sure!
I am a big fan of gymnastics but I usually don't watch college gymnastics. I just watched this whole meet and some of these young ladies are better than these Olympians gymnast. So why don't they just pick the Olympics team from college teams. That way everyone get to go to college and etc. Can someone educate me or just enlighten me
basically the routines that college gymnasts perform are about half the amount of skills that are performed by elite athletes at the olympics (and skills in elite are harder). so most gymnasts train elite in club to try to make it to the olympics and then go on to compete in college after they graduate high school
The jump in required difficulty and effort is pretty significant. College you are legally limited to how many hours you can train, which usually isn't up to scratch for keeping up with a high-performing elite career. College its about 20hrs per week and most elites are 30-35+ hrs per week. It's been done before, but it's difficult. The lighter requirements for college mean they can focus on perfecting a handful of skills rather than maintaining a suitcase full of them. Elite is much more difficult across the board. By the time most gymnasts compete college too, they're usually nursing a whole host of injuries from their elite/level 10 careers and need the lighter workload so they don't die.
some of them are olympian/elites plus they are more focused on execution so of course their gymnastics looks cleaner. However most routines aren't as difficult as Olympic level
Worst female commentator ever. The word is especially, not EXpecially. The judges might get a deduction for that. Really? The judges get deductions? I could go on and on. Please get rid of her. He’s great and would be better off on his own. If you’re going to be a commentator please speak correctly.
I love watching college gymnastics the gators they are just on fire they haven't absolute dynamite line up especially the freshman.I also really like Arkansas Jordan weber as head coach he's doing an amazing job I love there camaraderie for each other in general both teams
Florida is always so overscored. I can’t wait to see them have a reality check come postseason when the scoring is a lot fairer and on the same level for most if not all teams.
@@DestinyXL28 wish ill? I never said that idiot. It’s an assumption and a likely thing that will take place. A lot of teams that get overscored before postseason end up crashing come postseason because they’re not getting the scores they’ve been used to getting.
