Please dont get it twisted because of the margin of victory...EQ had a great day. The fastest 1 1/4 race was the blue grass. What you saw was a great front running effort by highly motivated. Now with that said, Rock your World is on a whole other LEVEL...(EQ/ RYW) exacta looking good$$

Throw out race for Concert tour. He wasn’t moving easily on the track, stride was choppy the entire race, then he got distracted, when SS passed him. A little green, but it’s his first defeat

I can't see a flaw in Concert Tour's trip. He should have gone on. Did he resent being rated? Is he a need the lead type? I do not believe the distance got him. He's bred top and bottom for a routing. Perhaps Baffert has pushed him a bit too much? With the works Baffert has put into him there's no way you could label him a "short horse." Could Baffert again win the Derby with a colt who hadn't made a single start in his two year old career? This is an open question. Anyone?

yes sir... be good to do away with the whip. Most trainers know...if you hit a horse too much, they think you want them to stop, at least slow down. The whip is for show, we don't need that part. my opinion, thanks.

Pretty obvious now who Joel Rosario will ride in the derby! Hot Rod Charlie. This now narrows it down to three horses for me in the derby. 1. Rock Your World- one start on dirt, 100 Beyer, second only to the unfortunate Life is Good and already higher than Essential Quality's best Beyer! RYW can only improve. 2. Hot Rod Charlie- fires everytime out, track record in last at only 1/8 shorter distance than the derby, the Rodney Danderfield horse in the derby, doesn't get any respect. Essential Quality- can't knock his resume, and always runs in deep stretch. Thinking three horse exacta &Trifecta box. 3. Essential Quality

Concert Tour has been defeated.......of course, he’s been defeated. It’s not like he was the second coming of Seattle Slew or Smarty Jones.......he was just another lightly raced, over-rated 3 year old that won’t get a mile and a quarter on his best day.

Just cause he's been defeated, doesn't mean he won't get a mile and a quarter, Secretariat lost his last prep race before the Derby and still won, Authentic barely won his last prep race for the Derby, and still won the Derby, Afleet Alex lost the Derby and then came back and dominated the Belmont, which is longer than the Derby. My point is that just bc he lost yesterday, doesn't mean he can't get a mile and a quarter, it just means that his connections will most likely have to try and gun for the lead in the Derby and try to wire the field, or maybe he wasn't fully cranked for this race bc it wasn't the big target and he was already safely in the KY Derby anyways
