I find hiding spot is a pretty good card for mark in multiplayer - it's a long-range taunt to save a wayward seeker or a way to take your enemies one on one if you have a machete
If I had to pick between Roland and Mark, I would choose Mark. I would choose Mark because his weakness is a lot easier to manage than Roland's. If you draw Cover Up early, it can be difficult to find the time to discard it. If you draw it late, you're almost guaranteed to get a mental trauma. Roland doesn't have the sanity to spare. If you're careful playing Mark, his weakness usually amounts to a horror, which is manageable.
Good deck to play with, unfortunately, Mark doesn't do so well with Hypochondria as a basic weakness, which I was lucky enough to draw in solo. Still he made it to Undimensioned and Unseen before going off the rails. I now have him with Minh as a support character, thus replacing Shortcut with an additional Smoking Pipe and "If it Bleeds", as Minh does much better with the fore-mentioned. They're quite complementary as Mark is ,essentially, her bodyguard while she searches for clues.Will probably upgrade the colt to a .45 and then get him an Elder Sign amulet, as things get hairy later on. And no, this time he has Drawing the Sign, a mellower weakness.
Thanks for all you videos. Really enjoy your detailed explanation of the cards and your ideas. Just wondering, when testing your decks, is there a certain scenario/s that you play or do you run whole campaigns.
I rarely do a full campaign. I usually test decks against the first three or four scenarios of the Dunwich Legacy cycle. If I'm making a lot of changes to a deck, I'll usually play those scenarios multiple times until I feel the deck is working properly. I also like Blood on the Altar and Where Doom Awaits in standalone mode.
I'm looking forward to having more scenarios for testing. I'm not sure how many times I've played Extracurricular Activity now, but it would be nice to play something new.
