Platinum: "Lore accurate? I'm trying to kill half the people in this squad, what am I even doing here?" Blemshine: "I thought I was injured during all this nonsense." Nearl: "I suppose I could have used my shield AND the lance at the same time..." Mlynar: "If I was lore accurate, I would be staying on the sidelines and being judgemental towards everyone." Joking aside, if you had Nightingale, could she have covered the left side for you in NL-8? Hibiscus technically shows up in this story too, although I doubt she would have been enough to cover the damage going on there.
@@Fizzyon71 I derped when I made that comment. I meant to say 'Shining' instead of Nightingale. If you'd had both of them, could you have covered both sides on NL-8? And Hibiscus has an ongoing diary that you can look at in the Info Port. She's around, she's just super busy.
I use Kazimierz operators only and they really are lack Art damage and medic but some of them deal huge damage also have strong guardian defender. I use Followers operator for the medic in the end... some helpfull tips, Mlynar have increase taunt level, perfect for baiting ranged unit to attack him instead and give them some damage even though its not that high. i use him to bait the casters, archers, and bloodknight stun... surprisingly he can tank them well without dying....
Kazimierzknights can clear this event pretty easily. NTR S1 (or S3) + Blemishine S2 + Mylnar S3 really simplifies a lot of things. Only time I needed another operator was in NL-10 and it was using Lancet-2 (pretty much any medic sufficed) to just provide 1 tick of healing to outheal the boss's stun on Blemishine and then immediately activating her skill after the stun passed to heal herself lol. Blemi's S2 has a pretty big range and heals for a lot and charges quickly.
Very nice 👌 Can't really think of an alternative to your tactics, as I just throw all my strongest six stars at a problem until it stops being a problem 🙃
I managed to do NL- 8. In hindsight, I should have used some healers to make my run easier and I didn't notice I had a crest I can used which would have made it easier. My layout was similar to when you were using Fartooth. I used Mylnar to burst down Tola and quite a bit of the candle nights by having him face down in the center. I opened up with Platinum on the left, the Wild Mane right next to her, replaced Wild Mane with Nearl Alter on S3. Then placed Fatrooth down. You can then place Blemishine s2 down facing downwards to cover Fartooth. She should only get hit by the shadows once. Then use Gravel and have her face left to put light in the center so I could place Mlynar. This was how I did it when I was using a ticket. When I did it using sanity, I fucked up with the Blemishine part and used the dp to turn on the light. I still used Gravel to put Mylnar in the center because she could block a night in the meantime for Fartooth. I basically kind of gave up with the parts that used the Armorless Union. I hate them so much and make everything much harder. I thought I could use Mlynar but they just focus him down and kill him fairly easy. Probably could have made it worked if I didn't use him.
Pro tip for NL-6, you can place Ashlock 2 tiles to the left of Flametail, facing right and she’ll cover the entire area Wild mane and Flametail are blocking
Ive been wanting to make a score based version of this idea for a while for every main theme episode and side story/intermezzi. Essentially using operators that appear in the story grants points while using operators that do not would heavily penalizes you. (Grani, Guide Ahead, Darknights Memoir, A Walk in the Dust and Episode 9 especially seem like they would be a nightmare to get a perfect score on... DM will probably be quite a bit easier though with Hoederer available)
As a thematic squad clearer myself (or at least I attempt to be, usually falters on hard bosses...) I actually didn't realize how hard NL-8 was without the crazy strat I came up with... My strat involved placing nightingale a tile below where you placed ptilo and then using platinum facing right at the edge of her range to clear the candleknights, most of Tola, and help dps the sleeper knights. Doing that early on provided enough damage that I didn't need too much extra healing in either lane since I spent less time blocking the scary enemies and the candleknights only ever hit Platinum who was safe because of NG. Also as a NTRKnight and Mlynar not-haver, I found NL-6 to be easier with Nearl(normal) between the two vanguards and NL-10 to be ridiculously difficult. (I gave up and turned to Chalter in the end...) Anyway it was interesting to see and compare strats through this video so I wouldn't mind seeing more of a similar style for future events!
3:54 Sorry for being a stickler but Nearlter S2 does not do true damage, it just does a buttload of physical damage and the Lazurites don't have much defense. Only her third skill has true damage. Okay, 🤓 time over. Great video!
If i done this differently i would just lv ashlock. Tho nl 8 way way easier than what you do, as you noted there is a straight line in the map but have you check left to right? There is one line that is perfect for fartooth to snipe the 3 line the same time, use maria(s2 can solo heal) and zofia ( mob dealing) on left lane they can do like 80% of the mob and fartooth will deal with the rest . On the right lane is the only place you actually need a healer so night is in top range spot face down, you will also get snipe with art and need to stall the lane which in the showcase is ashlock job but i would use nearl as she have way more hp while having enough dps to deal with everything (lacking both maria and fartooth is quite crutial so i digest). Overall a good clear at 2am , the next time could you give us your op detail for these sort of thing?(lv and such)
Not really lore accurate tough platinium SHOULDN'T be there AT ALL and Maria was injured/hurt on most of the NL This is more like "kazimierz only" than a role accurate clear
