I think her talent activates on any instance of damage (it can occasionally null poison mist damage) which implies that she actually needs to be hit first before it considers her talent. Edit: also just realised that there would be a bit of anti-synergy with her S2 it it was treated as dodge. Her spike damage from that is on hit, too.

i personally prefer to use her s1 or 3, nevertheless i have her m9 lvl 90 so who am i to judge you for using only s2 xD
