Stall the boss, then use your boss killer up to 5 time, that's the plan! Also, you may play that event's chapter again after few update!

You don't need to stall for WD-8 because of the very wide map space. WD-EX-8's very narrow one, though... I've only seen one successful non-stall run for it and it requires very specific operators with maxed out stats (E2lv90 M3 or the run is likely to fail) with a high likelihood of needing potentials as well.
