Agreed, this is what I wish most people would understand. Expecting this anime to be full action is just misleading, and making them have wrong expectations for the anime, such as bad animation, etc. I mean I've already seen one review on MAL saying that this anime's animation is "barely even existent", and it sucks to know it's the highest rated review there. Ffs, it's not Fate Grand Order. Arknights' fights were never that flashy to begin with, except maybe the boss fights in the later chapters of the story (definitely not gonna be animated any time soon let alone part of this 8 episodes). It sucks since that kind of review makes people who never played the game to think that the anime was bad when in fact it was good enough in staying true to the story. Obviously, anime like Chainsawman and Bleach are still the best ones this season, but it's just sad to think that there's the possibility that some people could be misled to have the wrong expectations for this anime.

@@Alex-dy1xh I am thank you! Not STUPID better but better for sure. And yeah, I also started in 2020. This is honestly the only ever mobile game to have stayed installed on my phone for more than 6 months. Not even Genshin lasted that long. I mean its down to preference but...Arknights was a whole new experience and beast when I first saw it. Not to mention it plays on my most favorite kind of game. Tower Defense.

@@TheDoctorFromArknights Prelude to Dawn covers chapter 0-3. The first mention of the Doctor's eating abilities at 3am is in Chapter 8. So yeah, most likely in season 2 but at the same time, season 3 since the later chapters are pretty long.

It’s a pretty good tower defense game good gacha and a amazing story. Although the first 4 chapters are poorer in comparison to the later main stories

Nah first Arc isn't that good as I remember first time playing AK, but when Frost Lady enter Game, that's when I really curious about the story and it's starting good and better latter

Watch it if you like big character development anime with fantastic geopolitical, world building and despair along the way. Arknights isnt action packed anime (there will be in later episode) but the strong point of Arknights is their character and the world itself
