People cry too much about power creep. This game is extremely well balanced. It's just that the "power creep" is intentional. Giving players stronger operators to make the game easier is part of their strategy. No matter how you spin it, most people don't actually like a strategy TD game like AK, especially if it's hard. There's a reason it's such a good game yet it's not the most popular in its genre. Easygoing players have the option to make the game easier and less of a headache, and strategic players have the option to just not use the effing unit if they think it's too strong. The newest stages are balanced around the newest meta setting characters to not make it TOO easy but balanced enough that classic operators still have utility. Simple shit people.

@@radornic2387 every new story boss is stronger than previous both in dmg and in survivability, every new character in own niche is stronger than older characters by a lot, it is not balance, it is powercreep straight forward. And the problem is that with growing pace of powercreep in ak old characters becomes less and less usefull, silver ash for example, once his performance considered as insane and he is very casual character, but now he is quite underwhelming in comparison and it have nothing to do with strategy and casuality they just squeeze out money with powercreep, which every gacha eventually does

@@akvirr7102 Incorrect. There are still tutorials being made of these new boss stages being beaten through 1 or 2 sixers while the rest are 4 or 3 stars. What are you on? Some of these new bosses don't even measure to some of the previous ones released around 2 years ago. What this sounds like is bosses requiring more strategy than usual and you can't figure out how to strategize for your own good. Half of my squad is made out of classic operators still. I still use Hoshiguma and Nian to tank the newest bosses, and then Blaze, Hellagur, and Skadi are still good at holding lanes for me. Hell, Siege's DP generation has never been more useful. Hot take, stages back then were almost perfectly catered for SilverAsh's strong suit and that's why he seemed so meta. Silverash was never that good in raw power. The massive majority of these classic sixers are still largely relevant, and even some are on par with new operator's utilities to this day. Do you even play this game bro?I'm sorry, it doesn't seem like you're making a valid or thought out argument at all. This is just a mad skill issue my guy. You don't want more balanced operator releases, you want stages to be way easier because you can't put two cents to come up with a strategy to beat them in a strategy game.

Totter can attack invisible enemies but there are times where it is difficult to kill enemies with Totter only due to enemies have high stats. Some players use Tsukinogi to reveal invisible enemies but she is supporter. You might be thinking of Rosmontis but she is Flinger Sniper and her summon has block count of 2 to block enemy. Rosmontis s3 can be unreliable sometimes so players resort to use Tsukinogi but the clear won't be Sniper operators only clear, it will be ranged operators only clear (Sniper operators + Tsukinogi).

You forgot about Typhon S3. She can stalk and kill the boss in both phase 1 and phase 2, it's a pseudo global range because it follows that target.

Her overall damage in both S2 and S3 is lower than typhon, but in exchange she has more flexibility attack range and lower SP cost

lower sp cost being below half of Typhon's. Also, she's just incredibly more fun to play. Not braindead though

Her dps is way higher since her attack interval is not as slow, but her total damage is lower due to her short skill duration.

@@galeria_m It is a bit annoying that she doesn't have enough ammo to last for her whole skill duration, then again, it is not super significant either of a nerf either.

The two are like 6 months apart. Typhon is coming in 1-2 months and Ray won't be for 7 months. Typhon is more "meta" as a brain-dead boss delete button but Ray is more flexible and dynamic in terms of the doors she opens for gameplay, with her excellent range (expanded by her summon, cycling (20/16 if she kills on-skill), bindlock, and targeting (prioritizes enemies in her summon's range). You can consult a pull calculator to see how many pulls you'll accrue by the time Ray releases, but you should be getting 200-300, so if Typhon and Ray are your top-2 upcoming ops, you can absolutely pull both (though if you're a meta-slave, Degenbrecher > Ray).

The game was never balanced to begin with tho? since the start so many operators were "must have" and easily powercreeps other ops lol😂 The games's content is getting harder as well and with many game modes which improves the lack of content since launch. The game will inevitably get unbalanced, that's what every game will go through

All that matters is she's the most fun sniper to play certainly not braindead, but I think that was what they wanted with her. something that gives the player a lot of room for different plays. Her damage and cycling is definitely her cream but being a Hunter sniper is a pretty good balance to somewhat hold her back even if just a bit in a weird way

@@Khroniclas I never use private server. Acturally, you can use the Suzuran S3, Nearl S2, Saria S3 and many skills which have "stop attack" to block the enemy for a long time. Especially 4.5th Anniversary new 5* Bassline, his S2 can block an enemy for 60s.

In some higher content, DEF can get too much. Example: The FC car in CC Pyrolysis had a ton of DEF and Ceobe did better than anyone else at dealing with it at higher risk

If you mean Ceobe as an arts dealer, it's because as @xcynik3235 says, certain game modes feature such a high physical resistance that you have to rely on arts. This can be either ridiculous DEF or high physical dodge. If you mean Ceobe as a physical-damage caster, it's because game modes and challenges may sometimes stunt your snipers behind a high DP cost, stat drop, or outright ban while featuring arts-resistant ranged enemies. In such cases, you'd be forced to consider the alternatives (Ranged Vanguards, Trapmaster and Geek Specialists, or this) or fight at a disadvantage. Even with that being the case, Ceobe's unusual (compared to a traditional Core Caster like Eyjafjalla). You're often forced to go out of your way to find a spot to make her shine while anyone who owns a meta generalist can use them to get through just about anything.

Typhon can do it in both phase 1 and 2 in a single skill 3 activation. Although Ray has a higher damage ceiling, but Typhon is more versatile.

Ray has higher damage ceiling, while Typhon is a combination of high damage and versatility. Typhon is easier to use, while you need to strategize more with Ray because of the ammo mechanic similar to that of Ebenholz and Mystic casters. Ray is nonetheless as top tier unit, although I personally like Typhon more.

Uhhh I just did and it's pretty easy to say yes this is actually her own personal damage, you probably didn't take into account her talents and such if so because from what I got it seems pretty in line with the damage shown in this video

@@scarlettrevor7536 i did add enemy def the result after was very similar to what appears in vid, for example Big Adam has 1k def result from what i found is 6894 so that -1k is 5894 a bit higher than what appeared in the video which is 5877 but very close nonetheless
