The Arknights game is split into 2 servers, Chinese and Global (technically Taiwan too). The Chinese server is 6 months ahead in terms of content, so songs released on the Chinese server quickly gets disseminated to the Global audience before the 'official' release. Hypergryph releases plenty of Arknights songs that are not available in game but is on their official RU-vid channel, they usually label these as EP. These are two of those songs and the music is completely free. Hoederer and Nearl the Radiant Knight are playable units in the game.

9:00 Hoederer is the character this theme is for. The composer for Settle Into Ash is Adam Gubman who has composed _many_ songs for Arknights and is a fan favourite. The composer for Radiant is Erik Castro who is also a regular. He makes a lot of the electronic songs in the game, including basically the whole OST for the Laterano events.
Arknights has a lot of genres and they contract many artists to make the music, so the soundtrack is very diverse. Although many of them are electronic or at least include electronic so perhaps that is the most consistent denominator between all the songs
Now you're stepping into EP territory. The previous two songs are actual in-game OSTs, while these are "character theme songs", produced by various artists for the game's own music label Monster Siren, mostly for promotional purposes. So yeah these two songs aren't used in the game at all, they might as well be songs instead of video game music. Still worth reacting to though!
Radiant is so damn good man. If you haven't already seen it, you should check out the "Arknights - Near Light Event Teaser", which is the video that features Radiant in it. There are no spoilers and frankly it doesn't make any sense to anyone not in the know, so. Seriously highly recommend checking it out, because it will make you feel things I promise :)

Hoederer is the name of the guy in the video, or probably a Codename rather (most arknights characters use codenames rather than their own names) (will edit to answer more stuff later on, if I remember lol)

You can tell these songs have a huge amount of work put into them, so they should work very well with other instruments. i don't think it's the same, but arknights has the Ambience Synesthesia every year, where artists play some of their songs live, and it's really amazing.
So, these are both character songs, though when it comes to channels, Kazdel Team usually uploads videos from the official Arknights Bilibili channel, but almost all of the requested songs should be on the official Arknights channel. As for copyright claims, only the collab songs (Starset, DJ, etc) are subject to it, the rest are in house and usually not claimed.
arknights hires the same few composers to write these songs and with some new composers popping up time to time. almost every song is non copyrighted with the exceptions of the collaboration songs

Arknights has a really big catalogue of songs that covers a lot of genres and ranges from in game battle/event/menu themes to character/faction/group songs and seasonal releases that aren’t available in game; Towerfierce is a boss/stage theme(I think? been a while lol), Speed of Light was for anniversary but wasn’t in the game iirc, and that abyssal hunters theme was a stage/event theme. These two are character themes, so they get released on RU-vid with those live2d background arts/music videos but aren’t actually in the game. Most songs with vocals have guest artists and are composed by a rotating group of guest composers. A majority of the songs have no copyright issues too, so they can be played whenever; makes them pretty good for reaction/analysis content, lol. Also, on that Radiant video; that’s a video from an unofficial channel, but it’s the official art n stuff from the video on the official Arknights channel. Vocals are by Mary Clare from the band FORTS, song is composed by Erik Castro, and it’s probably one of the most adored songs in the entire community. Mary performed it live a few months ago at the annual Arknights concert in Shanghai as well, one of the highlights of the concert(video was recently released on RU-vid).

The channel you saw these videos on uploads the songs when they release on bilibili (in china) They also get released on the official Arknights youtube channel about 6 months later (chinese and global game servers are about half a year apart)
Most of arknights' songs are by Monster Siren Records, though they frequently feature other artists. But all their songs have their own charm, in my opinion.
as other have said anything that isn't starset or Dj okawari should be fine, so basically all EPs, battle/boss songs and contingency contracts songs. the only exception from what i heard could be Renegade but i am not sure if that's true
Its alright if you dont know what Arknights music sounds like because honestly it doesnt really have a defining genre because they have such a diverse soundtrack which ranges from Russian Lullaby to Orchestral Church Dubstep

Arknights is a gacha game, and among other things edit: Hypergryph (not Yostar) has used the income to create a music label, Monster Siren, that they make EPs under for every new character (in this case Hoederer & Nearl) in the game they often have guest artists doing these songs, both playing and composing, and they cover a very wide range of genres i've heard rumors that the founders of the dev studio originally wanted to found just a music label, but couldn't get capital for it, so they founded a game studio instead and use it as an excuse/financing to make high quality music, but i can't say wether that is true

Yes! I've waited for so long, and now it's back! Glad you heard it finally, I love Settle into Ash, the character this theme is for, Hoederer (he's the main point of the video :D) is one of my favourites. There are so many official character themes in this game, you don't even know what a rabbit hole it is. There are many amazing composers for this game, Adam Gubman being one of the most loud, many guest composers too. Besides DJ OKAWARI they also employed a few others, like Starset for example. Can't wait for you to hear a lot more of this game, you'll be impressed, how many genres it explores! You should also react to Broken Sun, it has parts of Settle into Ash motive, I'm sure you'll like it!

EPs mostly refer to in game characters, they are like their themes, consolidating their personalities and experiences in form of a song. And almost all of them are copyright free so you can react freely :D. For my part i would recommend Dormant Craving, Blade Catcher and All Hail Saviour

These songs usually don't play in the game, they're just an extra bit of promotional material as well as a bit of lore sometimes uploaded into YT

arknights is a tower defense mobile game and they make music, either for ingame purposes or as promotional material with these charackter themes, they have tzheir own music department and kind of but more comisioned, i am not 100% sure, and they like to comisiojn the same people. Exampels would be adam gubman who composed settel into9 ash, and eric castro who composed radient. and these songs are copyright friendly.

Hoederer is a mercenary, but he hate war, he wants to be a academic and write books about the horrors of war, so the new generations avoid that, that's why the lyric has a deep meaning, also as a joke his an otaku and his oshi (favorite idol) is Eureka another character of arknights, these we're EP, so no in game music, if you have the chance watch the ambience synesthesia concerts, in the last one 2024, the singer of Radiant was there and is one of the favorite of the fans, she also sing a new song called 遗君 a theme for the character named Siege, the people in the concert love it, the concerts have in-game music and EPs, the one I would suggest is a new release of the concert name 魔王 (Demon King) is the third part of themes for Amiya (the main character) the first one is Wrathful Cerulean Flame and the second one Merciful Broken Sun, the first two are in game cinematics, but the third one is concert only at the moment
