Remembering how I struggled to clear this stage back when I was new to the game with a full roster of 12 ops (most not E2 tho) it's actually feels crazy to witness a freaking fast redeploy casually solo nowadays.
power creeped in most cases, but now sharing different niche due to summon and skill differences. S3 is focusing more on CC (doubling up CC) , clone giving flexibility to position + map control + block count. In situations where all you need is damage in a concentrated area, Texas alter is better (module also supports offensive gameplay). In situations where you need to CC 2 different locations, to bait with clone, stall slightly, etc. Phantom is better. The differences between the two will get bigger the more stronger the enemy is (usually more noticeable in CC high risks). As far as their S2 goes, the differences is also much more niche in design because it requires specific map layout and enemy layout to see their differences. Texas alter's skills only have a set duration upon being deployed (and duration extends on kill), but ultimately she has no control on keeping the skill up after being deployed after a set amount of time. Phantom has his s2 last indefinitely until all charges are used, which can make or break some stages earlier on since he can have his skill up for much longer as a result (thus being able to handle enemies with a different spawn interval). His lower damage is definitely not comparable to Texas alter to delete stuff, but this is also where you can see Phantom's specific skill usage for such situations due to different deploy timing in using him as he opens up different strategies with other operators thanks to his summon & skillset. Again though, in most cases, if all you need is damage, Texas alter wins because she's the specialist that focuses on damage. lol
@Charlett yes, I know. They were talking about the last stage in chapter 8 so I was talking about the last stage in chapter 9. The whole gimmick of Tallulah is those civilians, mandagora on the other hand annoying af
I just used mylner for this stage he can't solo it but he does really well I can't imagine having to kill those things when the chapter was originally released Rosa also does well at killing them but can only target one
