The Kelvin and the 34C are the same size. But the 34C is heavier. On my scale, the Kelvin weighs 2.12 ounces (60.1 grams) and the 34C weighs 2.74 ounces (77.8 grams).

Hi, Tihomir Stoqnov. Face lathering involves loading a brush with shave soap and moving it in a circular motion about the face to generate a lather. Bowl lathering involves soap or cream and allows the wet shaver to build a lather in a bowl, then paint the lather on the face. the main difference I've noticed is which one does a better job exfoliating the skin and lifting the beard. With face lathering you tend to do this a bit more. with face lathering, because the cream is already whipped into a lather, you tend to paint it on. although, some wet shavers do a bit of a face lathering motion even with a lather that's already made and ready to be painted on. (I've also seen wet shavers do a face lather using jus t dab of cream placed in a brush) Also, it could be the brush you are using has a bit too much tooth to it. Perhaps try a softer brush. Lots of really wonderfully soft synthetic brushes out there with good backbone that work well when lather doing a face lather or painting it on.
