Sad part is there are people who still are hyped for the game when all there is barely ANY story content other than 0-.2 patches and sometimes the .6 patches. What are you supposed to do at the other patches just don't even log in? Cause at some point you just stop caring for primos once you get ALL the characters you would love.

I think that is because HSR does not have as many chests and world exploration rewards. It is an illusion in ways. HSR is more "generous" that is fact, just not by as much as people think.

This was debunked really early with people showing spreadsheets after spreadsheets of how hsr has higher average pulls compared to genshin per version.

Genshin releases like one character every patch, giving you plenty of time to save. Meanwhile, HSR releases two characters every patch. Sorry, but if you're going for "every" character Genshin is far more generous. To justify it HSR would need to compensate 70+ more wishes per patch, but they only give 10 more. Luckily, the company can trick brainlets like you thinking they're more generous. It really is too funny.

The value of character in both games is playing a bigger role than you might think. Getting a new character in Genshin Impact is literally getting a new character in both terms of gameplay and feeling. A character that you use to walk, run, jump, fight, and even moan when you force them to get hit. Meanwhile, in hsr, it feels like you're just sitting there waiting for free rewards and pulling gacha to get a high from cheap dopamine from getting new 5 star that doesn't change gameplay which best it change is your click pattern. Not saying it's bad because we're all playing games to feel good, aren't we?

He used to get a lot more pushback and his chat and youtube comment sections seemed a lot more varied with different kinds of takes and just more organinc. Now any time he posts anything Genshin hate related it's like it activates the same comments and shitposts like clockwork just one after the other minutes or even seconds apart, but if the topic is basically anything else it doesn't seem to activate and he just gets like a couple hundred comments space normally apart.

Because you're forced to watch skill AND burst animations every single time on every character. In Genshin you only watch burst on 5 stars. HSR is stunlock: the game. Go watch Bronya skill animation on fast mode. It takes as long as a regular burst animation in Genshin lol 😂

I think this is value to the two games. When i was going to build my Nilou C0R1 that i already got, i builded her, trying to play 2 times with her, then become boring. But i think the reasons are different in these games. First, i don't think that a character in a turn base game can be SUPER FUN even if we consider that a lot of characters have half of the potential locked by other characters (like Seele/Dan Heng/Quingque locked by Hanabi or every break team locked by Ruan Mei) and this make a more unfun and also the same insane repetitive gameplay with the gorgeous animations in just a simple fight lacks everything, one the main problems of Universe Simulated: "Unecessary fights". For Genshin i can't think in a good way, maybe because the game is too casual and every character just feel the same button click and only feel great in mind theory even after 3 years (like my Nilou), but yeah, i was thinking that Wanderer was going to be fun but when i used him i just got Razor's same feeling (and also he's clunky, a lot of characters are clunky). Also the animations don't help, they are beautiful, not cool, they are tedious most the part. In a elemental game with a lot of power, a Almighty Archon like Shogun can just summon 1 tiny sword and does a normal slash, this is really sad, Arlecchino is the first character that they did a improvement in animation.

Because Genshin has real time combat system and Hsr has a turn based combat system. Real time combat system will always be superior to turn based

Kazuha got powecrept by Wanderer for utility

Kazuha still is miles more fun to use. When I first got kazuha in 1.6, I was scouring the whole map for content just to use him more bc it was so fun. But then again, that was in 1.6. keep in mind that he's a support and that I went from using sucrose (trash grouping) to kazuha (basically the anemo archon). Wanderer let's you get around faster, but isn't as fun

If you're in for the meta or doing damage, then get arl over navia any day. Geo is just not a great element overall, but that's just my opinion. Arl as a pyro dps opens up a lot more options eg with reactions and such, her gameplay is also more complex and engaging than navia. But if you're going for the drip or other reasons then I respect that too man. As for Furina, it should be a while before she comes back, so you will have time

@@tsukisasu4425 I have a maxed out Hutao too, but after testing Arl out I have no doubt that Arl is a much better character. More fun to play and hits super hard. Hutao's damage window is very small, whereas Arl can just keep going. Her kit is just overall more interesting, it has a lot of thought put into it. Not to mention that she can fly too!

There aren't many characters that genuinely don't do anything but press NA for 20 seconds straight anyways. Look at nilou, oe neuvilette, or hell even wanderer, or xianyun. The way they feel to play is nothing like other characters (except maybe wanderer). Meanwhile, just na for profit with arlechino. Her burst is literally just a healing button. Her E is just a buff to her NAs like hu tao.

She's a slight upgrade over her in the sense that you have more flexibility with her, and the stamina bar is far more manageable since it's a mixture of NAs and CAs, not purely CAs, meaning you absolutely don't need a C1 unlike Hu tao does. Other than that she works identically to her, spam attacks, burst to heal, swap to others and repeat. A huge point in Arle's favor though is that her pyro infusion does not disappear as soon as you swap to another character, unlike Hu tao. You could legit play walnut team with Arle and call it a day. On another note, funnily enough arle's signature weapon works with Hu Tao, since she does CA spam all the time.
