CORRECTIONS HERE: it turns out that Arlecchino may actually be 27 years old. Lyney said that he approached Cesar (the Magician that taught him and Lynette his magic tricks) when he joined the House of the Hearth, and later that Cesar died 10 years prior to the Story Quest, so Arlecchino must have become the Knave 10 years ago. This would make her 27 years old, as I said. The problem comes with the records of the executions that only go back 5 years. My best bet is that it took 5 whole years for Dottore to come up with a way to extract the flames from Arlecchino's body and, once she finally had a way out for the children, she started recording the "executions", and she's been doing that for 5 years now.
@pinkraven7043
@pinkraven7043 Месяц назад
This makes more sense to me than her only being a director for 5 years. Given how loyal most of the kids are to her, I’d find it hard to believe Arlecchino was able to gain that much respect in only 5 years. And the way a the children talk about her implies that she’s known them during their formative years. Her only being active for 5 years wouldn’t line up with how old Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet seem to be.

Great video! I think they're keeping most of the stuff about her Khaenrian heritage for later, including her glitching. She'll probably get a second quest or make another appearance when Project Stuzha is executed, when Dottore burns the tree, or when we get another deep dive in Khaenri'ah. Would be a better time to drop lore bombs about her I imagine. After all while lore heads are very much aware of how special Arlecchino is, the average player probably never read perinheri and only sees her as another Harbinger, they needed to be introduced to her, her flames, the crimson moon etc. first. Now that this is established, they can go further.
@ShadowX5452Gaming
@ShadowX5452Gaming Месяц назад
Yeah, that's what I just wrote to another viewer. She will, most likely, get a Ignis Purgatorius act 2, considering how special she is, and that will explain more about her, hopefully her glitching as well. Dainsleif's quest still needs to happen, and that will probably tie back to what we learned in Caribert and with Arlecchino as well. I hope he'll actually tell us who saw us through the dream (and if it's the purple crystal, I want to know if it's Phanes as I believe). At this point, we can just wait. 4.6 was pretty heavy in lore, adding more, would have been too much!

i think that there is another secret that only traveler, paimon, nahida and wanderer knows. the other fatui including dottore doesn't know, that the giant irminsul tree is FAKE. we know the real irminsul is in another realm that can only be accessed with nahida's permission. the real irminsul is not even a tree, it's like a machine that looks like a tree, like a supercomputer.

@@someoneinasia what I noticed, though, is that the children in her demo, that are most likely dead children, also glitch while they're running past her. It can't be just a cool effect with no meaning behind, it wouldn't make sense...

So, I guess you see Arlecchino as the Crimson Moon Dynasty equivalent of Itto. He has stronger Oni blood than most other members of the species in modern day, which is highlighted primarily in his particularly deadly reaction to soybeans. Ever since we learned about the Primordial Sea and heard about the Primal Fire, I’ve been interested in the existence of these “Primordial” elemental bodies. Irminsul is the source of Dendro power, which suggests that it’s the equivalent to the Primordial Sea and Primal Fire. Of the other elements, only Anemo seems like it might have a known equivalent, being the Thousand Winds associated with Istaroth. The Shade of Life was essentially given the responsibility of handling the Primordial Sea and created Egeria to that end. Istaroth may have inherited the Thousand Winds as her duty. Venti may be an existence more similar to Egeria, the creation of a Shade directly. I imagine Rukkhadevata may have also been something similar to Egeria’s existence. Her being the “avatar of Irminsul” has always made me wonder what her actual connection to it was. Has she always been the avatar, or was she connected to it after becoming an Archon? If she’s innately connected to it, does that mean she’s been around since the beginning, or did older versions of her exist in previous Samsaras? Maybe we’ll learn soon. I genuinely wonder if there are other “primordial elemental bodies” for the other elements, like Primal Earth or something like that (although I guess that could just be the planet itself). The total lack of any true Electro Vishaps other than mutated Bathysmal Vishaps also makes me wonder if we’ll ever get to see stuff related to the “Primordial Lightning” or the Electro Sovereign. We haven’t been to Snezhnaya so I imagine if there’s a Cryo body we’ll learn of it there. I think you’ll probably cover it in your next video, but it seems like Egeria being described as having “like nobility unto a dragon” but lacking its outer form was very, very literal, as Cassiodor said a new Hydro Dragon couldn’t be born while the Mistress of Many Waters hibernated in the deep seas. He does also mention her death, but according to Furina, Neuvillette’s at least 1,000 years old (apparently the Chinese version doesn’t specify multiple thousands), and he was already alive long enough for Folcalors to know about him centuries ago, so I’m going to defer to the hibernation statement more. Something about Egeria’s prison kept a Hydro Sovereign from manifesting, but when she left one could be born. Maybe before the creation of the Archons’ authorities she had the entire Hydro Dragon’s authority, but could only manage it from her prison. After becoming the Hydro Archon she only inherited part of the authority, and the rest of it that used to manage became free to manifest into a new Sovereign. Also, sorry I didn’t really talk much about Arlecchino. I don’t actually know what I can say that will really add to or interact with anything you said in the video in a meaningful way. I feel like we’ve already talked a lot about Arlecchino in your community posts and I may have exhausted a lot of my thoughts on her already, but if I think of something suddenly in the middle of the night (like I do sometimes) I’ll probably let you know.

About "Primal Earth" I'm thinking about Albedo's lore, "The universe is the dark essence of the true starry sky, and the earth is the accumulated memories of time and lives. The chalk: that is you. The earth is where alchemy gets its name, and is the basis of all life. [...] The next stage after "soil" is "chalk," which was also something his master had mentioned. "Chalk is the spotless soil, and was used to make primordial man."" I see "Primal Geo" more as a substance rather than a source of power, as seen in the lore of different ores, por example Cor Lapis: "A precious crystal of condensed pure Geo element that usually grows along with other minerals. It's also commonly called "Cor Petrae."", Trishiraite: "A splendorous stone that can be found in the depths of desolate mountains, seemingly formed from congealed elemental energy.", Not an ore but looks like one, Beryl Conch: "A conch-like structure that gives off a faint glow. Despite the name, it is not a shell but something condensed from pure elemental energy.", Noctilucous Jade: "A rare mineral that glimmers in the dark. It's said to be a mutated gemstone condensed from the flourishing elements of the world.", Starsilver: "A rare and precious ore formed by the unique geographical conditions and Ley Lines of Dragonspine.", there is something in common and it's that most if not all ores are crystallized energy around ley lines and some have the ability to absorb other energy and change qualities (like Noc. Jade). Also, Azosite was a "mineral" used by Khaenri'ahns that was pure Ley Line energy and was their fuel for a long time it seems. I just realized, maybe that's the logic behind the Crystallize reaction (lol). Now that I think about it, it's like Geo itself always tries to keep itself "pure" but at the same time it's the "ground" for other elements to be within it, see Geovishaps and even Azhdaha, they are Geo beings but can control other elements at the same time, and who can do this too? Xuanwen Beasts and the Suanni boss who are ANEMO beings that can also control water. (I'm not taking into account Robot/Machine enemies as it doesn't count in my opinion). As always, Anemo and Geo being sus af, I'm looking at you Zhongli and Venti. As for Primal Lightning and Ice... I have no idea. Electro sovereign lore when mihoyo... We don't even know where Raiden came from. Also, they need to confirm who are the Anemo and Geo sovereigns, Dvalin and Azhdaha are there but they were never called sovereigns, I suppose it's implied but idk man.
@ShadowX5452Gaming
@ShadowX5452Gaming Месяц назад
Yeah, the Primordial elements are definitely a very interesting addition to the game. Irminsul is the Primordial Dendro (and I still think it's Imaginary), for Hydro there's the Primordial Sea, for Pyro there's the Primal Fire, for Anemo I guess the Thousand Winds should be the right equivalent, while Geo and Electro seem not to have equivalents BUT! XD Azhdaha went crazy because the people messed up with the leylines, so maybe, and I say maybe, the leylines are the Primordial Earth/Geo, while the abyss is the Primordial Electro because everytime there's the abyss involved, we always see lightnings, like the portals in ??? that take us around, they always sparkle with lightnings. There was another instance of this, but I can't remember where I saw it. Since the Abyss has to be something extremely important to Teyvat, I've always thought it is the power plant for the microcosm (also because its effects are identical to radiation exposure), and lightning=electricity so the association is similar. Rukkhadevata might have been similar to Egeria, but I think she's closer to Venti because she was created later, not at the creation of the microcosm. If she was as old as Egeria, they would have probably told us. Instead we see Deshret ruling over the desert, and then Rukkhadevata appearing... Although, if she was as old as Egeria, it would have explained why the two Gods were very close to each other, although nothing would have stopped them to simply become close friends later anyway. As for the Electro Sovereign, if I'm right with the Electro-Abyss association, then it would explain why we didn't meet the Electro Dragon. It would have explained too much about Teyvat's creation and too early. Plus, what would it be? The Abyss Dragon? The Quantum dragon? The Void Dragon? As for Cryo, I honestly have no idea. Ice usually acts as a reservoir of water for the whole world, but that doesn't happen in Teyvat since Fontaine gives water to the whole planet... If we go down the path of the flatearthers (since the inhabitable Teyvat is a plane) then we could think that Cryo holds the borders of the microcosm? You know, the tall and impenetrable ice wall that they believe encircles the whole plane? Maybe Cryo is what created the false sky? I mean, it has to have come from somewhere... I will definitely cover that small but heavy as hell sentence about Egeria and the dragon sovereign in the Remuria video. I was so shocked at how easily they dropped that bomb, just like that, as if it was nothing! It does make sense to believe that she had the whole authority for herself because she was in the Primordial Sea. Let's pretend that the dragons were deprived of half of their authorities (to make it easier), then the Primordial Sea could have half of it, while the Archons have been given the other half. As long as Egeria was in the Primordial Sea, both halves were together, so the Primordial Sea didn't see it useful to create a new dragon, by when she left, the Primordial Sea's authority was halved, so it created a new dragon, probably to go and take the other half... As for Arlecchino, it's okay, we did talk a lot about her XD

@@TehLadyBoom so that why I think the Primal Geo is the leyline, you basically kinda gave me a sort of confirmation of my belief (that I wrote in the reply of the viewer that wrote the comment). Azhdaha, that is implied to be the Geo sovereign just like Dvalin because they're called pure elemental life forms like the sovereings, went mad when the people messed up with the leylines, on which he depends. As a consequence, they should be directly linked with Geo, being the Primal Geo form. As for the creation of humans, Geo must have played a big role, considering that the memories of the people go back to the leylines, but the fact that the Sacred Flames are where the people "go back to" when they die, makes me think that it's something like Haephestus, and the people were forged by fire. As for the Primordial Electro, I still think it's the Abyss, since the abyss portals have lightnings like in ???, while the Primordial Ice COULD be the false sky. If it's a flat plane, then there's the flatearther possibility of a tall ice wall that encirlces the plane, and what closes it off is, indeed, the false sky.
@TehLadyBoom
@TehLadyBoom Месяц назад
@ShadowX5452Gaming Huh, "Primal Earth/Geo" being the Ley Lines themselves actually make a bit of sense, the ores and even the constellations/stars are made of Geo maybe (Unreconciled Stars mention in 2024?!?!?!) The ores and constellations maybe are something like a "fruit" of Crystallized Geo energy that can also be infused with other elements. I was just thinking about Geo and it's ability to "contain" energy, it kinda acts like a vessel, maybe what the Crystallized reaction does is "trap" the different elements it touches rather than infuse. Electro on the other hand is so weird, it's energy itself but nobody uses... Electricity... Like, it's there. But the thing with portals and being related with speed (electro seelies too) and the excess of electro energy in Inazuma having a Geiger counter like sound is interesting too. I actually think it makes more sense if you think of Teyvat being the power plant and the energy of the other realms being the fuel, similar to pneumousia, idk. About Rukkhadevata, yeah, I think the same. Maybe her relation to Deshret is similar to Zhongli and Guizhong, they didn't knew each other for thousands of years but simply became very good friends because they were just compatible. But the Electro sovereign is so strange, maybe you're right, nothing else comes to my mind... What if the sinner is the Electro sovereign... (Just kidding... Or not) But yeah, probably is a massive spoiler. I just still think about the abyss having it's own kind of energy other than electro, but who knows. What you say could fill that gap. Cryo maybe acts like a mirror or screen in the false sky? I have absolutely no clue, Cryo has always been a weird element to me, it's like a "secondary element" or variant of Hydro. It's like having a Steam element. But let's not forget that "Colors of the rainbow" or something like that achievement, the one that implies that there is more than 7 elements. About Egeria, yeah go ahead, it's a detail so important and just dropped there like nothing. Sorry about Arlecchino, when I start thinking about world building I go crazy XD (excuse any nonsense I say, it's my 5 am brain, good night)

@@TehLadyBoom well, consider that I think the Sinner is Phanes, the shade that was supposed to release the world onto the old world, but did his own thing and ended up being punished by the Primordial One and changed in the Abyss... I mean, if he created a microcosm in the egg from which he was born, it means the egg never hatched, so he never came out of it, hence he's still inside....

I'm still upset they didn't give Perinheri more value or importance. If it had been found after completing a world quest (narzissen library), a secret dungeon, or a grand chest in a empty room, something like that, it would have been more appreciated. But buying it in the newspapers? Meh By the way, Natlan is close, I'm from México and I've been thinking that if you need help with translation or have doubts about the mythology, maybe I can help. Well... Yeah, finding it in at the newspaper stand was disappointing... But then again, it's a novel written by "normal" people in multiple editions, so it makes sense that it's treated like a normal book. As for Natlan, I did make three videos in which I talked about the Aztec, Mayan and Inca mythologies to explain both Natlan but also the Samsara Cycles. One is "Where are the Natlan NPCs", then "The seven samsara cycles", and the first one was "Natlan: Murata?". If you're curious, when you have some time, you could check them out and see if I got the myths right XD But yeah, I'm definitely making another Natlan video when the Saurian quest comes out (and I'm forcing myself to be optimistic, hoping the guy will actually tell us something useful), so I'll probably write in the Community Tab if I'm having trouble with the meso-american cultures. Hleobrant turned into a Hilichurl when he reached the surface of Teyvat and Angelica was at best a Seelie, or some kind of ghost, since she disappeared when they reached the surface. The only person in that story that could've had descendants is Perinheri. They even have similar names, a clear indication of being related. These are not changes to hide what happened, because we only ever get the cliffsnotes versions of these books, what we read ingame is clearly not the full book. These are the main points. There could be another origin for Peruere, she could be an Outlander summoner or found by the Fatui, then experimented on to acquire the Balemoon curse. Also, remember the three Pari/Seelie like creatures she has around her before her boss fight? After the fight you can find them around the arena, witnessing the fight, but there's also a fourth one that appears and it has a different coloring, as if affected by the Balemoon curse. I think those are her ancestors, including Perinheri.
@ShadowX5452Gaming
@ShadowX5452Gaming Месяц назад
So, here's the thing. The ending of Penirheri is fictional, it was added in the second edition of the book by a novelist, it's written at the end. In case people didn't realized that, they now had Pierro specify that it's fiction with accurate key elements, so Hleobrant never turned into a monster when he got out (also because why? The story takes place during the Archon War, not the cataclysm), and Angelica wasn't a Seelie, but a person from Liyue that, just like many in Khaenri'ah, left her nation and God and moved to the underground nation. Peruere can't be an outlander summoned or found by the Fatui, otherwise she wouldn't have been abandoned and found by the orphanage, nor would Pierro have been surprised to see a descendant of the Crimson Moon. I didn't check the area after the fight, I'll do that as soon as I start the game. I wanted to find them, because I remember seeing them watching the fight in the livestream, but I always forgot about it.

The author of the first edition claims to have based this tale on a legendary story known throughout Khaenri'ah, but there are none left who can verify this. It is an anthological work produced over several generations at this point." This refers to the whole thing, not just the ending, and it doesn't mean it's fiction, it's a disclaimer that it's unverifiable. The Hilichurl curse isn't tied to Khaenri'ah, there are plenty of examples of Hilichurls existing long before the end of Khaenri'ah. It happened in Sal Vyndagnir, Enkanomiya, Inazuma(especially Tsurumi Island), etc. Angelica was definitely not human, and my best guess is that her goal was always to bring Perinheri to the surface, away from Khaenri'ah. If they found Peruere then they would've found her and sent her to the orphanage lol. Do you remember where it is said that Pierro was surprised to find out she was a descendant of the Crimson moon dynasty? or did he just assume that because of her curse?

@@VeraldoAncodini still from the book: "Mr. Jean Figeac's continued writings and refinements, which have given this story its ending (2nd edition)" so the story original didn't have an ending but it was added later by someone who was tasked with refining the book. Yes, there are countless hilichurls with different origin stories, but this is still a story of Khaenri'ah. It's unthinkable that just one guy, for whatever reason, left Khaenri'ah and transformed into a hilichurl, while other people of the nation left Khaenri'ah to go on missions (as it is also written in the story) and nothing happened to them. He's supposedly a descendant of someone who forsook their god and went to Khaenri'ah, so the moment he left the underground nation and transformed into a monster, would have been because he went to the surface, something other people from Khaenri'ah did and nothing happened to them. Hence, this is the fictional side of the book, the added tragix ending. Angelica is human throughout the whole book, except for the, once again, added tragic ending, so my reasoning is still the same as before. But they did find her and sent her to the orphanage... And yes, it's written on screen in the video when I said that. If I'm not mistaken, though, it's in Arlecchino's voice-over, it should be the "more about Arlecchino", maybe the second one.

@VeraldoAncodini Месяц назад
@@ShadowX5452Gaming I'm an actual book editor, "Mr. Jean Figeac's continued writings and refinements, which have given this story its ending (2nd edition)" doesn't mean the ending is fiction, it means the first edition wasn't complete. When finding ancient texts it takes a while to decipher and translate them properly. There can be new findings that completely change the story's meaning and context. That's why there are so many editions. You don't make this many changes and revised editions if it's a work of fiction. Pure blooded Khaenri'ahns aren't turned into Hilichurls, obviously they were the ones sent to the surface, and Khaenri'ah also had Outlanders they could send, which wouldn't be affected either. Perinheri, Hleobrant and Angelica left clandestinely, it makes no sense for Khaenri'ah to just let their two best knights leave. Otherwise they would've definitely told Hleobrant about the curse to at least scare him and keep him in their service. Non-humans can easily pass for humans in Teyvat. "it's in Arlecchino's voice-over" - Ah ok, I haven't looked at all of those yet.
@ShadowX5452Gaming
@ShadowX5452Gaming Месяц назад
@@VeraldoAncodini yeah, but how unlikely is it that the ending in the second edition was actually purely fictional, just to give it a dramatic end? I mean, Pierro did say that the story is fictional, but the key elements are right, so in theory, most of the story should be just drama. The point of the curse and the transformation feels like giving people something they probably heard about before, especially since this book was originally written not too long after the cataclysm itself, so people were more aware of the Khaenri'ahns transforming into monsters back then. The problem is that it takes place during the Crimson Moon Dynasty, during the Archon War, and as a consequence, since the three fled from Khaenri'ah because of their own interests, it means that the Crimson Moon Dynasty hadn't ended yet, so there was no curse yet, that came later, so there shouldn't be any reason for Hleobrant to actually transform once he got out of the nation

Just saw other Arlecchino lore videos and something interesting that I think may be more likely than the descendants with recessive genes thing is her reincarnating outside of Irminsul's grasp. Reasoning: - Pierro says he is very surprised to see anyone from the Crimson Moon dynasty still alive at all. - Pierro says Perinheri is how Arlecchino can learn of her origin even if not a complete 1:1 source, and Perinheri sounds extremely close to Peruere in Chinese. Safe to assume Arlecchino is more Perinheri in the story than some potential love child of the knight and Angelica. In the story Perinheri has no memories before the crossing of the chimney and seeing the crimson moon. When asked if he died he says that *yes, he did*. - Arlecchino has the same issue of not having memories before seeing the crimson moon - Arlecchino considers losing your memories a form of death, as she "executes" House of the Hearth quitters - Her flames burn memories, and we know that Irminsul's control of fate is through memories. At death, the soul of Teyvat inhabitants (and their memories) go back to Irminsul who controls their fate - She is wary of her curse reaching her heart, as it would cause a "change". Not destroy her or anything, but "change" her - She has an established theme of evading her fate - So what if her curse forces her into a reincarnation cycle outside of Irminsul's grasp? Every time it reaches her heart she burns her own memories and self away, and is reborn under the Crimson Moon's gaze without going through Irminsul, thus not being subject to fate or at least not in the same way as most. She isn't a descendant of Perinheri, she *is* Perinheri, his soul in a reborn body. It would explain why she glitches and why her imagery is so different from the usual pyro stuff. The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles who is also outside of the rules of Teyvat shows a similar deep red, with similar "digital" imagery (and her cubes having one eye, echoing the crimson moon's one eye). This doesn't explain how exactly she ended up as such a special entity, but I prefer this explantion over the idea of random Khaenrians surviving and through genetic happenstance producing Arlecchino

So, when it comes to Perinheri and Peruere being similar names, I don't really think that's indicative of much. Hleobrant and Perinheri were friends, so what's stopping Hleobrant from giving his child the name of an important person in his life? And then the name got modified through time and became Peruere. In Perinheri, it is said that his first memories begin with the tunnel, but he also remembers adults telling him to go through it, so he has some memories about the past. Plus, it could simply mean that the Perinheri's first recorded memories begin there, like he wrote his story starting from that moment, not that he actually remembers from that moment on. In Perinheri, it is also said that he said that he died out of desperation because he wanted to get out of the tunnel. I don't think arlecchino doesn't have memories before the Crimson Moon, I don't remember reading something like that. Still, if she knows she wasn't born in Fontaine, shouldn't that mean that she knows about her own past? The past that she voluntarily abandoned when she got the name Arlecchino. Well, if someone loses his entire memories, that person is basically dead and the new one, the clean slate, is going to be a different person altogether because they won't have the life experiences they had that made them the person they were before. I don't really see the connection with rebirth to be honest. It's not like she died before. She grew up in the House of the Hearth and grew up like a normal child would, I mean physically of course. I think her defiance of fate is more in the fact that she's still alive and the curse hasn't been able to devour her as it was supposed to. She probably used her curse against the curse itself, thus being able to live her life instead of transforming into a monster. So, no, I don't think she's Perinheri, while for Susty, she may simply be associated with the Crimson Moon, hence the red portal, meaning that 3 of the shades are related to the three moons. I mean, despite the fact that you don't like the idea of her being an actual descendant of someone from the Crimson Moon Dynasty, Pierro himself said that she was, and I don't think there's anyone with a greater knowledge about it than one of the images of Khaenri'ah...

21:45 this is exactly the reason behind my last comment on your post before the video! When I said that we’re slowly getting closer to the truth about phanes and its shades (or moons for 3 of them). So exciting to know that we got the same conclusion! 🤩 One thing I could say about the crimson moon is the fact that moons are gates to another worlds, this explain the glitch effect on Arlecchino, because her powers are out of teyvat. Another example is the RED “path” (a small version of the moon’s gate) opened by the unknown goddess at the beginning of our story. This can also explains the dark purple path that abyss heralds can use (also our twin), and that’s why for example Breacher Primus are considered “OTHERWORLDLY organisms”. And finally, I found another relation between Moon-shade-phanes, the key are the 6 wings on arlecchino: just like Seraphims, the creatures closest to god, and of course, the 4 shades should be the beings closest to phanes. There are more details about this theory, but I’ll keep them until Remuria’s video!

Yeah, the three moon seem like they're very much related to fate and either the shades or the heavenly principles, but there's always a chance that the have nothing to do with it and they're building up this obvious belief, only to shatter it in a later update. We do have three moons in Teyvat (if I didn't miss some more, which is entirely possible): one in the sky, one in Khaenri'ah and one in that domain that I hate, so I can't remember which one it is (maybe Cecilia Garden? I don't remember), which is very very interesting, especially if we consider the fact that two are supposed to have shattered in the past, since in Sumeru there's something that said that the dust from the destroyed moons arrived on the ground, carrying with it memories of the past. As for the glitch, it is entirely possible that she's fighting against the curse that is trying to dispose of her, so sometimes it manages to almost get to her, but she comes back, reason why one of the poses is her suffering. Now, if Susty's portal is related to the Crimson Moon, then the moons are related to the shades, at least three of them, considering that one created the whole universe, so he would be Teyvat itself. As for the Breacher Primus, if I'm not mistaken, they are Elynas's cells, so the other world in this case, would still be the abyss, just like the Izumo and Takamagahara example I made in the video. I'm realizing that you are of the school of thought according to which Phanes is the Primordial One. I'm with the other school of thought, so Phanes is one of the shades to me. Still, the six wings kinda remind me of the mural in the domains. If I'm not mistaken (and I just got home and I'm extremely tired), there's a "World" surrounded by 6 "eyes" that look like wings. Considering my belief, it would be Phanes in the center (the creator of the microcosm, so he represents Teyvat) and 3 shades on one side and 3 heavenly principles on the other. I'll soon start working on Remuria's script, but considering how dead inside and outside I am right now, I don't think I'll be able to do it today....

@@ShadowX5452Gaming yeah that's my theory, specially because in every domain we can see 5 crowns from the sky (Above the tree). (Ie Egeria and previous Hydro Sovereign of the primordial sea, source of all hydro, and Rukkadevata and Irminsul being the source of Dendro.) We don't really know why there are no Natlaners outside the nation. It was kinda arbitrarily decided that there's a curse keeping them from leaving, but there's no proof of that at all, so we don't know if there are consequences if they leave. The guy from the Saurian event is (hopefully) going to tell us. But yeah, Angelica is from Liyue. About the Primordial Elements, it's something I've been talking about with multiple viewers here in the comment section. We kinda came to the conclusion that they may be: Hydro - Primordial Sea Pyro - Primal Fire Anemo - Thousand Winds Dendro - Irminsul Geo - Leylines While the last two are tricky. I believe that Electro is connected to the Abyss, so the abyss itself would be the Primal Electro. The reason is that, in the book of revelations, when we use the Abyss Portals to move around, there's electricity, lightnings coming out of it, and it's not really the first case in which we see the Abyss and Lightnings together. While for Cryo, the only thing that's left is the false sky. Since Teyvat is a plane, maybe it's some Flatearther reference. According to them, there's a tall, insurmountable ice wall at the edges of the earth that keeps everything inside. Since it's Snezhnaya, the ice wall would make sense, but what's actually keeping everything inside the microcosm, is the fake sky that, in theory, encapsulates the whole thing...

I loved the video!, specially the microcosm part, however there is one key information left behind. 08:13 We do know the crimson moon bloodline ended because they drank "poison" after the eclipse dinasty took over. I'll leave the two texts supporting this below. The ancient balemoon blood flows within her fate, granting her all that the dynasty once had - yearning, power, and curses alike. In her short life, she has supped of countless agonies and drunk deep of the cup of suffering, just as her ancestors once did when they imbibed poison at the rising of the dark sun. - The Knave, Fourth of the Fatui Harbingers. Archive (Boss description) "O High Lord of the Nobles of Khaenri'ah, the crimson-red moon has long since fallen into the abyssal firmament, and the blindness of your blood has ended your line," "O benevolent lord who leadeth us, should you still pity the children of humanity, then drink deep the wine in this cup." - Crimson Moon's Semblance (Arlecchino's signature weapon)

@ShadowX5452Gaming Месяц назад
Did you, by any chance, write on discord about this? Anyway, I think the "poison" is a figure of speech rather than the actual cause, just like "drunk deep of the cup of suffering". It would simply mean that they did, in fact, cause their destruction because of some higher power they somehow acquired, most likely still Forbidden Knowledge, and that cursed them, endind their dynasty. The difference between the Crimson Moon and the Eclipse dynasties is probably the amount of power they acquired, which caused a different curse, one light and one so great that the Heavenly Principles had to take action.

I think that the fate defying aspect of Arlecchino probably has to do with the fact that she managed to survive the curse with her strength and using the curse itself to break free from her destined end. She was, originally, a normal but cursed child, a human, so she has a real constellation. The fact that she defied fate, is something that came later and the constellation wouldn't have been able to predict it anyway, otherwise she wouldn't have defied it in the first place. Differently is for Neuvillette, who doesn't belong to Teyvat (if anything, Teyvat belongs to him), so he doesn't have a real constellation, he is his own constellation. Technically, yes, you should be right. A curse, especially one on a nation, is a punishment, so in theory she shouldn't be allowed to have kids, but then again, she's aging and she's not from thousands of years ago, when the curse was laid upon Khaenri'ah, she has ancestors who had children and eventually she was born, so she could have children... But, as you said, considering that her blood is basically fire, I really can't see a fatus growing in those conditions. This is an interesting concept, and being a fantasy world, her unique biology could allow her to actually have children. The problem, in that case, is that a biological child would probably have the same curse, so she wouldn't want to have a child that is going to suffer just like she does. So yeah, it's actually sad and her direction an orphanage is probably the best for her condition.

As for Rhinedottir, her being present in both dynasties and surviving both destructions could mean that she was involved with both, but I have the feeling that she doesn't really have a sense of belonging to anywhere and she couldn't care enough to avenge the Crimson Moon Dynasty, apart from the fact that they seem to have caused their own destruction, so why take it on the Eclipse dynasty anyway? I would be more inclined to think that she had the tools to pursue her passion in Khaenri'ah, she made a mistake that caused the end of the first dynasty, she simply kept on doing what she wanted and made another, bigger mistake that caused the cataclysm. Then she left and kept doing what she wanted, creating multiple Albedos, and it's not like they haven't caused issues as well. Even the current Albedo is a risk for Mondstadt...

As Pierro said, the story is fictitious but the key aspects are accurate. Remember that the ending of the novel was added in the second edition of the book, so that's easily the fiction side of the story, which means that Hleobrant never transformed into a monster as soon as he got out of Khaenri'ah (also because why would he have in the first place), and Angelica wasn't the personification of freedom. They were probably two people who fled from Khaenri'ah when the Eclipse Dynasty fell, so Hleobrant was probably cursed, but who knows? Maybe Angelica was already pregnant and managed to deliver an asymptomatic child? The possibilities are endless

I never really said that Arlecchino was an overall good person, I always said that she wasn't evil with her children like people were convinced of. As I said in the video, I do recognize the fact that she is ruthless, still comparing to a random murderer who kills for money or for "love" (a twisted version of it, at least), I'd still prefer someone who crushes someone's head with her stilettos, if that person has been keeping children in a basement for human trafficking (was that the crime?) and beating a little girl to death.... Yes, she's growing children into soldiers, but then again, those children would have been abandoned in the streets until they died out. If they don't want to live that life, they can leave the house. If they are okay with it, it's still their decision. Let's all remember that we all love Wriothesley, and he's a murderer, but he repented so he's good. Arlecchino has to follow the orders of the Fatui, but she will eventually rebel against them to save her children, as she hinted, so despite everything, she will put them first no matter what. Scaramouche never repented ot regretted anything he's done... I've never considered him good, not even remotely and in a fever dream. He's not a Grey character, he's pitch black...

4:00 there's many contradictions between the animation and the story quest and voice lines of Arlecchino. I suppose if you wanted to make lore out of it you could say the animation was an alternate samsara and that's why Scaramouche is there... but it really feels more like sloppiness. Does that building really feel like a modern day Fontainian building? To me it felt like an old disused building though not yet a complete wreck. So there's no way it would have been rebuilt and then abandoned again inside of one year. But if you are trying to reconcile the animation and game then.... yeah good luck with that; you'll need it. Oh good point about the SQ screwing up Vision theories too. What a hot mess. I knew that but I guess I had blocked it out of my memory in recoil against the suck. Also why does Arlecchino make a big deal about saying she only pretends to be from Fontaine when she basically is from Fontaine? At least in the sense that she was raised there. I guess maybe she means only "I wouldn't have dissolved in the primordial sea water". Again you make a valiant attempt to write a speculative history of Arlecchino visiting Snezhnaya to receive her Vision there, but as you say the kids were not allowed to travel. Kind of a huge part of the story since it was why Clervie was so keen to escape and of course if there was some way to go abroad or temporarily leave the orphanage then that whole back story of Clervie is trashed on a deep emotional level. But there's no way in hell Crucabena lets Arlecchino her number one student, out of her sight and if she had got training from someone superior to the 4th ranked Harbinger - who would that be? Capitano? But Arlecchino herself says all her combat training came from the very person she desired to kill. Oh another screw up on Visions was when Arlecchino says something like her Vision shows she's fighting fate whereas René says it means the exact opposite. Nice arithmetic on the age of Arlecchino btw. That's what I guessed but others seemed sure she was 27-29 sort of age. It's just another consistency error though because they have Arlecchino behaving far older than that. How is someone who is so young, has no emotion, and has lived in an orphanage all her life, able to be such precise appraiser of human emotion in others? It makes as much sense as Neuvillette playing the dumb "what do I know about human emotion?" card after living with humans for 5 centuries. They're both tropes of course, and as a silly trope at least Neuvillette's works, but Arlecchino's doesn't. I can believe her as a skilled killer but an emotional genius? No. Pick a trope MiHoyo. Is she emotionally stunted or an emotional genius? Yeah the glitch wasn't even acknowledge and even worse it feels like a few people in Remuria were glitching as if it was all just a cool graphic thing for 4.6 and you're not even meant to think Arlecchino is especially glitching at all. I can appreciate under playing stuff, but they already under played the whole Crimson Moon thing, to the verge of being almost meaningless. The glitch didn't even get one word. Not one word, not one scene, not one hint. 8:06 Her ancestry can't come from Perinheli and "Angelica" because neither of them were Khaenri'ahns by blood. I mean -- if they even existed which they probably didn't. As for how the Crimson Moon dynasty ended, how does any dynasty end? They got killed by the people of the next dynasty. And Dainsleif says the Crimson Moon was getting "revenge" on the Eclipse, right? Everyone's new favourite Chinese deeper dig into the English translation. So revenge implies a prior wrong, therefore the Eclipse killed off the Crimson Moon. Yes it's awful story telling but apparently the nonsense about building an orphanage for all the zero child descenders they had is literally true which is just sad. Nobody creates an institution to take care of a problem that doesn't exist. And if there ever had been even one child outlander from what Alice says one might show up every century or five. So the entire orphanage was doe one child at a time? And likely never had even one such child in it's entire history? Why would anyone bother to create such an institution? But we're told they did. 9:51 But Perinheri is not Khaenri'ahn so he doesn't have the bloodline. He's an outlander. 10:23 I got the impression that the king mentioned there is none other than Irmin and is talking about the last king of Khaenri'ah much much later on during the Eclipse. In other words the Cataclysm might have been caused by Irmin being persuaded to do something stupid by this ancient (and reviled) line of priests of a dead dynasty. A cult. The weapon description is also a hot mess of ambiguity and I didn't see anything worth talking about in it. But again, good luck with that. If the Crimson Moon was so great they wouldn't have died out. If they could defy fate then Arlecchino's constellation would be "Arlecchino" and not "Purgatory Fire". Also if they could defy fate they wouldn't need a Descender. Wow. Pretty dense video today. Have to take a break half way through.
@ShadowX5452Gaming
@ShadowX5452Gaming Месяц назад
The video is NOT from Arlecchino's perspective. It's not a flashback, it's the real events, hence Scaramouche is there. This is something we've already talked about, but I guess you won't accept it. That's okay. The building doesn't even remotely look abandoned, but okay, that's okay too. I don't think any vision theory has been screwed up, it's easier to think you're trying to find faults where there aren't, as you usually do. Arlecchino was the King, the one that survived. The House raises soldiers, and the best soldiers would be sent to Snezhnaya, the HQ. Clervie didn't become the King, so she wasn't allowed to leave. Going to Snezhnaya doesn't necessarily mena training under another Harbinger, it could simply mean training with the other operatives with which she would have ended up going on missions with, since she was the only child of the House left alive. Plus, and this is, again, pointless to repeat, but the Harbingers' ranks are not static, they can change. It was made clear by Arlecchino herself. What she says about her vision is not a screw up. You're taking Rene as an example, the guy who calculated a completely wrong World Formula and acted on it, convinced he was 100% right... Oh, because those 5 years more would have made her so much more mature? She had to grow up extremely fast, having a very bad life forces you to do that, whether you like it or not, so I don't see how Arlecchino being 23 would be a problem in term of maturity. Still, again, it's not a screw up, it's just your opinion on how long it takes for a person to grow up mentally. As for Neuvillette, again, it's not a dumb card. He's lived with humans for 500 years, but he never mixed with them, he's always kept them at a distance, so he never learned what human emotions are. You could look at a steak for years without eating it, but you won't miracolously learn its taste. Characters can have a second Story Quest, so the glitching can always be explained there. I clearly said and wrote at least 5 times that it was Hleobrant and Angelica. The Eclipse never killed the Crimson Moon. The Crimson Moon Semblance made it abundantly clear that there was a smaller cataclysm caused by what they did when they saw in the inverted image of the sky. And to think I spent a day adding the on-screen text to show what I was talking about... Everything for you is awful story telling, so what are we even talking about? There hasn't been one single quest that you didn't dislike, so the question remains: why are you even playing the game, if the story telling is so bad in your eyes? I don't know why you got convinced I've ever took Perinheri into consideration... How, for the gratious gods, could the king from the Crimson Moon Dynasty, that existed during the Archon War, be the same King that ruled during the Eclipse Dynasty basically more than 2000 years later? Is it maybe that you didn't really understand what you read, hence the story telling is always bad for this precise reason? And no, the description of the weapon is not a hot mess. If you read it without the intention to find issues with it as if it were your only mission in life, maybe you would have an easier time. What does it even mean? The Eclipse Dynasty was also great and they fell. See? You're just forcing issues that make literally no sense at all. And no, Arlecchino is not a dragon, so her constellation is based on her whole life. Even the traveler's constellation is not Aether/Lumine and he/she can defy fate. (by the way, cleansing fire) So, with Neuvillette and Focalors clearly able to defy fate, is it time for the traveler to go away? Oh, wait, are you going to say that it's another case of awful writing here? Maybe you should try to enjoy the game for once, rather that looking for things that don't work and invent them when there are none. You would have more fun

@@davidjohnson8273 you do realize that the ending of Perinheri is clearly stated in the book itself as a fictional ending added on the second edition by a novelist? Why would have Hleobrant turned into a monster in the first place, if the story takes place during the Archon War and not the cataclysm? Same goes for Angelica, she's not a Seele or whatever. I mean, these are easy things to spot on, especially with the book literally telling you what is real and what is not, and with Pierro reiterating it, too. And by the way, she "despised him" "zero children. Zero relationship" and still she fled Khaenri'ah with him, not Perinheri.... The weapon talks about the Crimson Moon Dynasty, not the Eclipse one. It literally says "But the so-called repayment never came, and the dark sun fell to the same ignorance and arrogance". But there is none so deaf as he who will not hear.... I mean, I'm not so preoccupied with what you think is unfounded speculation. I mean, even if the heavenly principles appeared in the game and said "yes, the world was capsized because of the fight", you would still say that you are right and it's stupid speculation that means nothing and that the heavenly principles are lying....
