@diamondtiara84 nor had I but I’m glad I came across it. I’ve only seen Arlene Francis on game shows, like What’s My Line and Password. I really enjoyed seeing her act in a sitcom.
What a cool look at the early 60's on campus! This is the first show I've seen but I hope you upload them all. Gertrude is one of the great actresses of all time. Mary Wilkes is a perfect sidekick for her. Mrs. G. is so lovable, it is so sad this only lasted a season.
Supposedly she knew that the Kennedy Assassination was going to happen. She was dating Andrew Prine who knew about it as well. He was a suspect in the murder be knew some of the conspirators
Her name is Bennye Gatteys. She was born in 1940 (now 82). She retired from acting in 1977 and got into real estate (according to Wiki), but had a fantastic life and career.
