Who remembers the "Top of the Triangle" restaurant in Pittsburgh? Opening in 1971, the 841-foot tall United States Steel Building had a restaurant on its 62nd floor where diners could eat and enjoy views of the city. Called "The Top of the Triangle," for the triangular shape of the building, Arlene visited in 1995. In this special show, Chef Bill Ward demonstrates some of his award-winning dishes for her. The restaurant would close in 2001, although the build is still in use today by U.S. Steel and UPMC.

So my mom and I went to see The Phantom of the Opera in 1999. I was 16 and my dad surprised us with reservations at Top Of The Triangle AND a limo there and to the Benedum Center and then he picked us up after the show. It was a magical experience and it was such a huge treat for me at that age. We did not do fancy things like that. It was such a great meal and everyone was so nice and I felt so cool when the waitress came over with the huge pepper grinder lol We had Ceasar salads, and lobster! It was amazing. So we've been trying to find photos, old menus, anything about Top of The Triangle online and I found this video and we just watched it together. She's 73 now and still doing well! We pointed out where we sat inside and how the view was amazing. This video brought us a TON of joy. We also got to reminisce about that wonderful surprise reservation my late dad made for us. Thank you for uploading this!!! ❤

This was a treat. I always wanted to eat at that restaurant when I was a little kid. Never got to see inside so I really enjoyed this.

It is so cool to see this place again. As a kid I didn't care about the food, I was so excited to get in that elevator and take the 3 minute ride up to the restaurant.
