Yes the struggle is real, trying to get people to understand what ambient/ guitar soundscapes are. I really like your sound and your approach, please keep it and your sound going. I say this as a 60 year old man who makes the same sounds, I am always hearing in the nature and my surroundings patterns of sounds. These sounds keep me alive and help me to create my music.

Have you been thinking about writing an actual song based on this jam? It's the best ambient groove I've heard recently.

I love the blend of hi end and cheaper pedals you use. Tony Levin and Jerry Marotta would be proud of that groove

That was really cool. I didn't quite pick up how that big bass sound was achieved though which would be awesome to know. I've got a dd-7 pedal I use as a looper for now but that ability to shut them off/on like in the video seems really epic.

This is insane and I love it , honestly I randomly fell on your RU-vid Channel and saw this video and was like "wow" , even though I was and still am a huge fan of Heavy Music (metal/trash metal...) I start to get interested by ambiant music and looping stuff and here this is exactly what I've been looking for for months , this is so inspiring and at the same time so relaxing to hear what you do ! It’s pretty obvious to me that you are creating all these sounds. They obviously don’t understand or know how music and musical equipment works and that you can be a one man band so to speak. Those sounds A M A Z I N G!!!

Folks...what I've learned over the last 5years is that once you've gotten over selfish egoistic tendencies and try to completely Get Out Of Your Own Way..THEN..reproach the way you're thinking about your direction & intent towards the way you're touching your guitar or bass instrument..that you may really finally accomplished a true breakthrough & emotion in your soundscape & sonic harmonics in your playing and that once you've finally made that Sonic brealthrough..you'll NEVER want to play cover music any longer because you've finally graduated to the next dimension in your musical expression and you can truly AMAZE yourself each time you approach this new dimension of yourself! Just make sure that you've got the same type of moody backdrop Studio ot bedroom vibe that helps place yourself into that mood emotion.

How did you get the loop to be seamless? When i've tried looping these ambient textures I don't know how to get rid of the clipping that happens when the loop stops and starts at the beginning again... Any help much appreciated!

Great demo. I really appreciate you taking the time to share it. I do have a question. I really love the percussive sound you are getting by hitting the guitar. Is there anything special you are doing to get that, or is it just the proximity your hand taps the guitar on or near the pickup. Jon Gomm does percussive taps on his guitar, but it is acoustic and he actually has a mic inside the guitar as well as a piezo pickup and another pickup.

have you used the e-bow with a wah, as an expression pedal? I love doing that...I have a Dunlop 535Q so I can narrow the bandwidth so it doesn't get too bright when the wah is engaged toe down. Give it a go...

This is fantastic man! I've been playing around with various loop ideas for years on the old RC-50 I've got and love experimental ambient stuff like this. Is there anywhere I could go to look at the various other pedals you've got set up in this?? I'm especially wondering what kind of config you used to be able to create that awesome percussion sound with an electric guitar? Sounds GREAT!

what pedal do you use to process the percussive sounds? it sounds just amazing! and how is the drone so nicely looped? i often get clips at the end or beginning of the drone. is there some reverb after the loopstation?
