Congrats to the renegades but Im more happy for Luis Perez. Guy has been through so many different leagues with different levels of success. Man finally finished a season with a championship. Hats off to him. Well deserved!

Ta'mu played an amazing regular season, but wasn't able to deal with the playoffs pressure. Perez, on the other hand, played the last 2 games like an MVP. I'm so happy for my team, really looking forward to next year

As an Arlington native, this is pretty crazy. First Arlington team championship, since the old minor league baseball and old city college days. From one of the worst, to the outright best!!!

I watched the whole XFL season a few weeks ago over a three day period including the semi-finals. Arlington played a great game on both sides of the ball. I have no idea where the DC team was because that was not a team, that was an embarrassment. DC was playing catch up the entire game and made so many mistakes. While the final score was 9 points, in reality it was never close. Congratulations to Arlington.

Congratulations to the XFL for actually completing a season. Great job by Bob Stoops and Luis Perez. They're still only a .500 team, but they have a championship. You don't see that very often. Was Lucky Jackson injured? I didn't hear his name called once.

Everything really changed for the better when Perez was traded from Vegas. Hated to see him go but he’s a freaking champ now, can’t get any better than that!

The Renegades led the league in int's and had 3 in this one and 4 takeaways all together......that was the difference. They also scored on every possession until the late fumbled snap that gave DC one last push. Signing Perez completely changed this team. They had such poor QB play that led to so many losses and such a inept offense u til they found him. They had a really good defense so to get a guy like Perez was all they needed and I think DC and Houston were taken by surprise and didn't expect the team they played.

Only the XFL would have a team at 5-6 be in the championship game. But you know what, that kind of unknown thing is what made the XFL fun to watch this season. I really enjoyed watching the games this year. Can't wait for next year

They always had a solid defense, but were always a quarterback away from maximizing their offense. Crazy to think that they had only scored 15 or more points once all season before Perez came. After the week 9 game where they lost to DC by two points, I think that's when they really started to believe

They made the game. I knew they *could* do it. I just didn't think they *would* do it. I had a bad feeling about this game up until that lead hit double digits. Then shock, disbelief, fully expecting the other shoe to drop at any moment. Dallas area teams always find ways to lose important games... But the shoe never dropped. Sure there were rumblings but.... never did I ever fear the outcome of this game. It felt almost inevitable. Impossible, yet inevitable. *> My team

@@malus1426 Offense puts butts in the seats. The New Orleans Breakers just suffered their first loss of the season to the abysmal Memphis Showboats, 17-10. The USFL is going nowhere, while the XFL can deliver playoff games with teams that have something resembling an NFL offense. The '07 Patriots weren't exactly their record. It happens. The future for the XFL is bright, no doubt about it!

Trying to avoid the comments to see the result, I almost messed up. It feels like Arlington just took a bit to play well together. They're lucky to have made it to this game.

ARL looked inspired, completely different from their whole season. It came together really well, and DC just either got caught complacent or just plain outballed. Kinda seems like the latter to me. Either way, hats off to XFL for making it a full season, hats off to the Renegades for a really well-played game, and big thanks to Valiant for the highlights. Until next year, folks. (Kaw is Law.)

The Renegades may have been a losing team record wise but after they signed Perez they were a completely different team and significantly better. They probably shouldn't have made it in I agree but that's the dumb rule however they were clearly the best team in the playoffs. They went 0-3 against Houston and DC but whipped em both in the playoffs setting season highs in points in both. Lets be real here DCs defense was terrible and allowed scores on every posession until the very last one when Perez fumbled the snap. Perez took em to OT in their only meeting of the season and lost 28-26. They were simply better when it mattered most.

@@ericsupermagnificent Not exactly. I said that I wanted either for Arlington to get crushed, OR for them to win. Either result makes the XFL look foolish for having four teams in instead of three. Only a close game that went to D.C. would have avoided that.

I missed most of the game because of my graduation. When i got home and saw that the score was 32-20, i just busted out laughing. Congrats Arlington, as a battlehawk in florida, I was pissed that we missed the playoffs, but I also wanted the underdogs to win. At least you shut up DC for us. KAW IS THE LAW.

First I want to say the refs called a good game, that said the XFL needed Arlington to win this game to justify the horrible way teams get into the playoffs. If DC won then the XFL would have to rethink that whole playoff process. TBH they still should revise the process cause this underdogs winning shit is not the norm.

@@demarcuscullors5628 True, as a STL fan I looked at all the opportunities we had to come out ahead in the tie breaker scenario. Since points in the season are a factor teams should think about loading up the score when they are winning. Arlington sure picked a good time to peak!
