One of the unique things we have done here at Seguin the past few years has been the triple option spread that we attach to our run game to make the defense play the whole field. We attach it to all of our run plays, and is great with a mobile QB! With a less mobile QB, we would run your more traditional RPOs!
There are five different ways we add a triple option to our spread shown in this video. We have the typical two back zone read with a pitch option, zone read with a motioning WR as the pitch option, zone read with a bubble as the pitch, zone read with a bubble/snag pass option, and then zone read with a bubble and go pass option!
