Just got out of detox today and had a week of 2 ambulance rides and a couple of ER visits along with some hard life lessons. What is it about Arlo Mckinleys music that just brings a bunch of fucked up experiences and ties it up into a nice little cathartic bow?
Lyrics: Suicidal Saturday night, for everyone The things we did we knew weren't right Just for fun Had us flying through Kentucky And fleeing fast from Tennessee We made a lot of money Made a lot more enemies No one said that this was going to be easy We've been dying since the day we were born I don't know why I thought that it would be easy Being criminals on the run We should take some time to find our way back home I never thought that we'd see the day But boy, did it come 'Fore they even knew we were missing Brother, we were long gone We were flying through Kentucky And fleeing fast from Tennessee We made a lot of money Made a lot more enemies No one said that this was going to be easy We've been dying since the day we were born I don't know why I thought that it would be easy Being criminals on the run We should make some time to find our way back home No one said that this was going to be easy We've been dying since the day we were born I don't know why I thought that it would be easy Being criminals on the run I'm glad we made the time to find our way back home..
Holy fuck that was beautiful i love this mans music it's helped me through alot him and lost dog are everything i really hope he makes good as an artist and i appreciate this channel for helping get this music out into the world
Can't recall another artist this honest and completely real , not afraid of mainstream ideas of what music should be! You know commercial propaganda to please the masses of worker zombies living meaningless existence as slaves to the system!
I don't know business side of things but they have a full length and a5song EP ALREADY recorded, they do have a full length on Spotify an RU-vid but I think they have grown ALOT & hopefully something will be released soon!!!
There's this little biker dive bar in springfield illinois called the keg ,I think your music would go over well here and afterwards go do a show at the backroom lounge in Riverton Illinois
See... I'm a one of those rabid TOOL fans. The crazy complicated music really lights my fuse. But, this ain't complicated at all. And, it's just as brilliant. Sometimes simplicity is the answer

This song hurts different when you've lost someone to a suicidal Saturday night. 7/10/21. Rest in heaven Mikey. He died in a car crash and the man driving left him there at the scene. Life hasn't been the same since. But we're all still healing.
I grew up around an outlaw biker club and this should be the only song in the clubhouse jukebox. That lifestyle is a whole bunch of bullshit so many people have come to fetishise, and it's all a bunch of theatrics and tough guy bullshit.
