Tim Bresnan is the true sportsman. Did not take this match competitively but friendly. Always looking out for Lupkes and striking conversations with him just like a good friend does. Very lovely.
One of the best matches I ever saw.I don't know, every time Tim Bresnan pulls it's entertaining. No under the table,no jumping like a retardad if he wins/loses just fighting with pure strength.
He might be out of breath cause they are holding this fight in Las Vegas, outside,in direct sunlight ? I mean call me crazy but he might just be overheated. The dude is 61 and in better shape than 80% of the people commenting on here doubt he is gonna fall over dead any time soon.
What makes a wrist strong..? Like, I see that Tim Bresnan's wrists are much smaller than other pullers, yet his wrist is extremely strong they say. Is it tendon strength?
It's so nice to see two such humble men who are not trashtalking each other and are just being respectful! No big mouth yelling there's no way he's losing! Just good sports
We must pay tribute to Richard Lupkes! Crazy genetics this man to fight at this age! Looking at his physique, he may be the envy of any bodybuilder! And the power in his hands and it was incredible! Health to You, dear Richard Lupkes and good luck!
@RedDemoon bresnan destroyed devon 5-2 2012 and before his surgery, so it's still count as his prime, it's pre surgery, devon still hasn't ijured yet but bresnan destroyed him , how would anyone think his prime beat Denis, Levan, or even prime Brzenk, devon got overpowered and had a hell vs Don F***** underwood which is nothing against denis,,levan, vitaly, etc
@@edgaralanpoe2808 larrat beat bresnan 4-3 in 2012 and beat brzenk 6-0 in 2008 and tie with don underwood 3-3 and would beat Dennis bettween 2008-2011 because Dennis lost to brzenk and struggled against lupkes while devon beat both of them easily so your comment makes no sense
I'm trying to think of another sport when the opponents are so respectful of one another and acknowledge the other's strong points. Few examples come to mind. Arm wrestlers do it all the time.
the parents of richard was born in germany..i dont know is richard born in usa or germany but in armwrestling we germans are verry proud of him.i dont thing a stronger armwrestler is walking arround here in germany.maiby his biggest opponent is his age.
jesus, how strong is lupkes at that age!!! i do think he seems strong, but he doesn't seem healthy tbh, the way is breathing is worrying and this was 2 years ago!! hopefully he's stopped and taking it easy now :)
I know how it feels like, well i'm definitely no where near as big or strong as him but doing heavy work when you are big ( in ratio to my height ) makes your heart skip a few beats, especially when they are pulling in the sunlight in las vegas.....like tbh couldn't they have picked maybe a spot with shade?
Can you imagine if you cheated on your Girlfriend and she says "I'm going to get my Grandad to sort you out.!" You'd be like "Don't you mean your Dad?" "No I mean my Grandad!" She says. "Oh yeah I'm scared hahaha." You say. Then Richard Lupkes knocks on your front door with a angry face lol. Great respect I have for Richard Lupkes. Unbelievable man!
I think I know what Lupkes was feeling. I'm also a weight lifter and big guy and when I strain that hard while holding my breathe, my heart will skip beats and cause me to have to cough to get it back in normal rhythm. It feels kind of scary and also takes the drive out of you. I have a slight mitral valve prolapse. Arm wrestling is not healthy. Holding your breathe while straining that hard puts all the pressure on your heart.
