for someone like me who always worksout in home or basic calisthenics parks except the table time once in two weeks this video is not only informative for these days but for general time!! Thanks for the content
I do your workouts every other day, and i make a good improvement. I m really thankful for these workouts! You are a very nice guy! I use a blue resistance band 35-55 kg, at first it was hard, now it is much better. Thanks again man!
With gyms on hiatus now in the states and most places this is an awesome way to still get it in! Thank you so much for sharing just some of your vast knowledge of the sport of arm wresting!
I do biceps and brachioradialis with buckets of water. Have a couple of resistance bands and use them with custom handles like multispinner and wrist wrench which i made with metal cans and ribbons.
@@brewsterkyoto3867 take a metal can or pvc pipe and just add ribons to it. Any durable kind of ribbon or a strap would work as well. Use single attachment for multispinner and double attachment for wrist wrench
Hey Ray, I don't have anywhere do hang and do pull ups, and I can't afford bands. The only upper body strength exercise that I can do is push up and it's variations. What are the best push up variations for arm wrestling?
As to omer abduction there is only one exercise (lateral raises) in the day 1. Most of the wods focus on rotators cuff, you have internal rotation mainly, abduction and flexion, isometric holding from many angles, pronations and supination as elbow flexion. But I think it's a clever idea cause in armwrestling you never pull towards up your opponent's hand (as delts and traps do)...I think he only put one exercises on day one just to make the wods more complete at 360 degrees
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B078SG8R16/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I reckon all of them are pretty much the same. So not sure if the brand really matters. Personnaly i use these brand resistance bands. Have blue, green and black one(it is the same one as in this video ,they have standard size for these mostly) But now they out of stock, maybe some other manufacturers have it.
Whats your view on reps for armwrestling exercises. I would expect the rep range to be short and heavy since armwrestling is an explosive sport - Ive been training in the same rep-range as i do for powerlifting. Only going above 10 reps for rehabilitation of sore tendons (which I have alot of lol). Then I usually go 20-30 reps though.
@@voiceofarmwrestling Thanks for replying coach. Love your videos. If you do lots of wrist curls and get strong in only that what is your best technique? Top roll, hook, side pressure? What method should be your focus with a strong wrist? What I am trying to find is the quickest way to get good against my friends because we don't have a club or league here so limited practice opportunity
Is there an alternate to the towel pull ups in the last section of the video? Iv been running through these for about 3 months now and i always end up skipping the last workout because i cant do a single towel pull up
Hey coach, I wanted some advice on my pain in shoulders due to armwrestling practice. It doesn't seem to go and seems it's deep inside. I have asked Ryan for that, he suggested that I should do lightweight but I feel I won't be able to lift weights properly if I continue or am I wrong?
@@voiceofarmwrestling inside the shoulder and goes through the arm including brachialis. Although, it's less right now after resting 3-4 more days but I don't know if I should continue now or not.
@@voiceofarmwrestling 7 exercise and 4-5 Sets. Its over 25sets of 1 small muscle Group. How u want regenerat it? I dont know. But i will try some exercise
@@eeshankrishnatria try coach ray style press. Its stronger than flop wrist press. And if you face a good toproller if you turn him in. Its easy for you. And if you can't you gotta flop wrist press him anyways. For press you can do tricep push downs bench press and jm presses.
