"There is no other way,.but to announce the independence of DPR and LPR" "It is unacceptable that the Ukrainian government refuses to protect the rights of us Donbass people"
Surprisingly, ArmA II storyline and real life events in Ukraine is quite simillar. In Ukraine pro-Russian separatist at the region neighbouring Russia created their own states - DPR and LPR while the Ukraine was going through severe political crisis after the revolution. And in ArmA II pro-Russian separatist declared independence of South Zagore while Chernarus were going through a political crisis after the elections. And that's 6 years before those events... P.S. Also, NAPA is quite simillar to Ukrainian right-wing movements or groups, like Right Sector or Azov Batallion, which played their role in Ukrainian crisis, even though they barely had any influence on Ukraine afterwards. That's another interesting coincidence.
@@user-ee5oo7xx7o Thats because russia did this before same thing was in Georgia and Chechnya they just make some fake news about opresion so they can invade
@@17MrLeon Well, with Chechnya it was a lot more tricky. After it was in fact recognized by Russia, they've been into some bad things - traffic drugs, promoting extrimist views, etc. Besides, Chechnya was a breakaway state, recognized only by Afghanistan, when it was ruled under Taliban.
@@user-ee5oo7xx7o yeah, it really felt like they predicted the Ukraine war unintentionally, with Chernarus being Ukraine, Chedakis being LPR/DPR and NAPA being like Azov Same as Georgia with the pro Russian supporters and Mkhedrioni paramilitary
Yeah I don't think that the Chedaki (terrorist) movement of the red star would make an official announcement rocking the chernarussian anthem since it would send quite the mixed message lol
I'm a Russian who served over there as part of a 'volunteer' program. They were not bad until the heads of the movement died, notably Motorola and Givi, who the Ukrainian government assassinated while off duty in civilian areas. Since their heads died, much like Dudayev in Chechnya, they've slowly been devolving into adopting bandit tactics and now we're at the point where they're in a long trench war campaign where revenue comes from robbery and outside foreign intervention. 90% of the Donbass-Luhansk area voted in an independent election to succeed and become their own state, which neither the Ukrainians or Russians accepted because of greed. Now we're here. It's not so black and white, and nobody is a 'terrorist'. Not yet.
