Yeah, it took me a while, but I still decided to upload the alternative ending of Arma 2: PMC. You can get this if you ally with Reynolds. Here you must take desperate measures in order to avoid a global economic crisis.
Needless to say, this mission was unbelievably easy. And still I almost screwed up when I was fixed on the wrong car. Luckily Asano saved my ass ;P
So was this all worth it? Is it acceptable to act without honor if it results in a more stable world? In this case I think this was the bad ending.

I'm hoping that Bohemia Interactive releases a mercenary themed expansion pack for Arma 3. In both Arma 1 and 2 I found that the mercenary expansion packs had some of the most interesting characters and stories.

When I did that mission I planted the bomb just down the road from spawn at the first T-junction and I was killed by a UN BMP while moving to point eden and it labels the pmc and un that were killed as heroes that tried to defend the investigators

Damn. I did the other ending. This coverup is BS. CSAT is also my least favourite part of Arma 3...

This is the kind of campaign ArmA 3 is completely lacking in. Seriously, I miss the good old ArmA 2 campaigns with consequences and the ability for co-op...

Its nice that there is a game with false flag operation and actually explains that its a for good cause. I got sick of black and white war games. This gets more realistic, when you have to do some dirty work for greater good and good ending of the game.

That, and definitely that, and it had actual depth to a story about PMCs rather than just going the shallow "for dah money and powah!" trope...I'm looking at you, Call of Duty.

I have bought it but have yet to get around to play it through. I guess it may sound strange, but a number of games I just look up for their stories to read/watch out of curiosity; and, like COD:AW (which I'm glad I didn't buy) this is one of those games. *That said*, knowing myself and how most games go, I most likely would have gone for the "honest" ending, but with that being the 'bad ending', *that's great* to know I would've made the bad choice. Like you alluded to, games are generally too black and white...some more than others, so to portray characters as doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons is a refreshing dose of depth that new games need more of.

what happens if you let the UN guys pass? In my game Reynolds sended a PMC team by a Kasatka to kill Asano and me but after we killed the team he sends the US-Army. Do you have to drive to his ION compound and kill him after this or is there a way to escape everything? pls respond

GinTonicdrink There is no way to escape because you can’t escape of the AH-64 that Reynolds sends to kill you

[spoilers for anyone who is a pro at this game] I keep getting the "New Task: Last Stand" after I blow up the cars using the IED. Then I get the ending where Poet and Ryman die.

Ok its one year already so you know the answer I guess but I want to tell you that he is not sending anyone if you do his job. Thats just the UN troops stoping you since you maybe forgot but you have takistani uniform and you jus tattacked UN convoy. Reynolds is with you but still is not gonna help you escape you are on your own. ofcourse if you decide to not follow him and let the convoy pass he sends his cleanup
