To all hurp drup muh fps: lower your view distance A LOT i mean down to like 1000-1500 and make sure object view distance follows. Or you could wait for the dx12 version if you have windows 10 ready. Also don't play missions with super shit optimization, no all the AI in the mission don't need to be active all the time please.
Definitely a 1st Class video. Quite tempted to try this out when I can. Could you please do a guide on HMG Teams or Grenade Launcher Teams (Static). Also UAV Close Support could be a good topic. Thank you for putting this content out there, it's well structured and easy to understand whilst not simplified to a mind numbing level.
obereen this is the true way to do dlc. mechanics - free update content - supporting bohemia. and there's mods. you can always fuck off back to your ea games, shill.
Well done Dslyecxi and Arma 3, it's kinda cool how i can come back from work and do exactly the same thing in a video game. As I was a AB (ammo bearer) then gunner for the 240L for the 82nd great use of the ranger handbook for all the cool guy terms. I hope you guys listen to these tips because the Army and Marines use the same. Also I might add 240's are heavy af and video games don't give it justice, Airborne!
I found 2 specs. This one is the PC Bohemia uses for the official streams: GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz RAM: 16GB And this is Dslyecxi's (the narrator's) PC (probably he recorded this video): GPU: GTX 980 CPU: i7-3820 RAM: 32GB He uses this for rendering too, that's why he needs this, i think.
Well there goes our FPS. Not all of are lucky as you having 1000-3000 pound PC Fix this shit please it would make a different for people who want to enjoy the game but they carn't because you get rubbish FPS now. I used to get 40-50 fps on my laptop now i only get under 10 fps.
Justin lee trust me, if bohemia had the means to it, they would. unfortunately, they are limited in that they arent as big as say, EA or other companies which is really a shame.
Sick of this "Me A.I. bullseye you human" things I can tell suppressing feature is not properly working at all for now, It's uselss to do suppress fire to the AI in this game, i dare to talk this to all arma player.
DSLYECXI HELLO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW DID bullets look just like balls or points, the SCRIP BIS_FNC_TRACEBULLEST ALREADY USED EH but can not get those balls or dots that you see in your video SEE, give me one PLEASE HELP WITH THAT
elcompakino30 He already asnwered this question at an other comment: "It's based off of the Hypnomatic tracer script, which you can find in the BIS forums or IIRC Steam workshop in the missions section."
IF YOU DOWNLOAD THE MISSION WAS SEEING THE PARAMETERS BUT NOT MODIFY OR KNEW WHAT WAS MORE THAN A FEW CHANGING EFFECT THAT FAILS TO GET HERE PUT THE WATCH WHERE YOU DOWNLOAD LINKS IF THERE ARE THE SAME TO YOU COVERED github.com/hypnomatic/ARMA_Examples/tree/master/Tracers%20Script/Deprecated
Anyone know how to enable the kind of bullet trace and highlighted bullets as it appears in this vid? The Virtual Arsenal's tracing method is a bit too much. This vid shows paths broken up and the bullets are visible until impact.
very well done video, still have an issue with auto-fire on arma, anyone who'd ever shot an assualt rifle in real life, let alone a machinegun knows you cant shoot on auto fire using sights at ranges longer than 25-50 meters, this makes fire fights in arma a little less realistic, although, could be a gameplay choice to make the game more fun, anyways, great vid, keep up the good work, cheers from Israel
Arma pleaseee fix your tanks make them a bit more realistic they cant do the job their are supposed to at least make them a bit more like they were in Iron Front pls :D
TheMarineGamer IGGHQ I'm interested, but even their official Twitter admitted that "a low-level engine overhaul is not feasible for A3", although they meant optimization/performance (the infamous frame rates) so I doubt that they had a specific plan for armored vehicle overhaul in mind... although the inability of tracked vehicles (technically vehicles using the tankX simulation class) "has been assigned internally and the PhysX programmer has it on his plate for the Expansion (Tanoa)." Indeed, without a themed DLC (not this Expansion) to focus engine development, it sounds like it's mainly incremental, here-and-there upgrades from here on out... although both water/lighting enhancements (which will be applied to Altis/Stratis, not just the DLC's Tanoa) and the 3D editor will be free upgrades to the base game.
Gurp obviously dont respond to the person above me.. dont share that information with anyone lol as for your question.. wait for a steam sale (next one should be winter sale in december). games get crazy discounts during those sales, wait for arma to get a 50% or maybe even 75% sale and get it then. arma 3 is always part of the sale
Derively Probably, yes. I'm using ACE 3 but the up-recoil is still present, though reduced 5 times or so. Someone has sent BI a video showing a 10 year old boy firing a balanced burst from an assault rifle (not even holding it properly) but this hasn't convinced BI it appears. Hard to be convinced with your head up your butt.
+Tome4kkkk Unfortunately Bohemia stated (via the @arma3official Twitter account) that "It would indeed be cool, but a fully integrated AAR solution is not planned for the near future at least." Thankfully there is more than one community-made AAR solution out there, but they've tended to (if not all) use top-down "big picture" views.
It's what the game looks like when you hit "autodetect" on a PC that meets or exceeds the recommended reqs. Ultra with all the post-processing cranked up is quite impressive; I'd even say that on Ultra this game is one of the best looking. On top of that, you can also download graphics mods which are on Skyrim and Dark Souls ENB levels. And here I am, stuck at ~25 FPS on standard with view and object distance set to 1500. I am playing in 1280x1024 though, so not all is lost. And as the creator of The Order 1886 said, "24 FPS is those cinematic feels tho bruh"
he said this in another comment: "It's based off of the Hypnomatic tracer script, which you can find in the BIS forums or IIRC Steam workshop in the missions section."
