MAIN CHANNEL: ru-vid.com Keep in mind, that the campaign segment is meant to clear up any confusion with the AI. For an in-depth review of it, check out this article: www.mudspike.com/a3-global-mobilization-state-scarlet/ UPDATE: GM 1.3 Has released, and recently a new GM Extra has also come out on the steam workshop.
Great review! Great respect for the creators for constantly working on new content! I've seen screenshots of version 1.3 and can't wait for it :) I hope that the interior of the tanks and the ZSU-24-4 will be added in the future. My dream is also the "Polish Army, 90s" faction, as in the case of Germany and Denmark...
@@Po-ws3go Also i waiting for CSLA DLC. It also looks great despite the fact that it covers the same period but their map "Homeland" will finally be Central European area with new assets and not those from Chernarus as in the case of Contact DLC and if they add Mi-8 and Mi-24 in the same perfect quality like GM will finally be a breath of fresh air since the times of Arma 2 because both RHS and CUP use helicopter models from A2. Thanks to your movie "Arma 3 Global Mobilization: A year later" I bought GM and I don't regret it :)
Try joining the GM discord and looking around. While I doubt you'll find a clan specifically with a spot of a crewman, there's a few groups which often run ops that include vehicles. Maybe you'll find your place there.
I turned the difficulty as low as it will go yet it seems the first shot the enemy fires goes right in my head. Is ther no way to actually change the difficulty? Cuz as is this jus sux
Not to mention i cant even progress passed the third tank mission cuz the AI jus WILL NOT follow me no matter what i do so i try to jus go thru the mission lone wolf but i fail when i get too far from my group,,,, total garbage even if it was free it would still be total garbage but unfortunately i paid over $20 for it
@@PosProductions Oh you dont know. But il tell you. Bassicly Hearts of Iron 4 has a mod called new world order were the axis one the second world war, and the mod is set in the 1960-70 where germany collapses the us liberalizes the world. And it be cool to have a situation in arma like this.
Obviously everyone's entitled to their own opinion and I may have exagerated it, but over the years ive noticed that it definetly isn't good most of the time, especially without a ton of scripts or a zeus to correct that.
I also noticed over the years that the AI is quite capable of using combat maneuvers, navigating enviroments, using cover, etc... on this own, without needing the mission maker/terrain maker to quide it. Naturally you need scripts or zeus to handhold it should you want it to go somewhere and do something rather than it just reacting. Sure there are things the Arma AI has problems with, but if it was something serious there wouldn't be so many people playing PvE. Might be my inner fanboy, but I'd say Arma AI is pretty fucking great. Or at least I don't remember playing any game with AI being able to do what Arma AI does independently.
@@michalsladek2668 I feel, that it's part of the problem - the current arma AI is great if you're doing stuff like the randomly generated dynamic recon ops environments, because that's a completely different and dynamic environment. The level, at which arma AI fails however, is if you want your playerbase to experience something scripted to increase immersion. In the case of Global Mobilization's campaign for example - the AI at some points were supposed to drive through specific towns. Instead, they like to take their own routes (which are... messy, to say the least), which on a dynamic mission would be great, but during a campaign it's super annoying to deal with.
I don't know bruh when the ak decides to take a nice brisk walk across the island for some reason when I tell them to walk across a bridge it doesn't really give the Ai a good image
@@albanianantivirus6849 I'd guess that's exaggeration. As stated before AI in Arma is quite independent and thanks to that it's quite difficult to make to it do preciselly what you want and when you want it to do so. I can imagine a situation when AI would rather walk over the island (assuming the island is quite small) rather than walk over a bridge as ordered. The problem is Arma doesn't really have any UI showing the status of the AI so unless you have some better idea of how it works or use scripting commands to get an idea of what's going on, you might be clueless as to why AI does what it does. The other problem is people exaggerate the "issue" so it becomes harder and harder to actually talk about real issues.
