This trailer introduces the Laws of War mini-campaign. Here, you take on the role of IDAP explosive specialist Nathan MacDade, and uncover what happened in the town of Oreokastro - experiencing the events from the perspective of various sides, in recollections that span multiple periods of time. arma3.com/dlc/lawsofwar
Arma 3 Laws of War DLC introduces a story-driven mini-campaign ("Remnants of War"), a new faction called IDAP (humanitarian aid organization), Van (multiple variants with over 20 liveries), Utility & Demining Drone (multiple variants), APERS Mine Dispenser, clothing and gear, time trial challenges, and more. The package is supported by a free Arma 3 platform update, which highlights include: refined cluster strikes, the simulation of Unexploded Ordnance, the ability to drop (custom) leaflets from the sky, two new Showcase scenarios, decorative objects such as emergency and medical supplies, shelter tents and furniture, and extra Steam Achievements.

It actually was a nice campaign!! It was nice to see another deeper aspect of warfare, being treated with respect! and being set up in a Lancape that I basically see every day carees a lot more weight for me!!

I hope Arma 4 has a good twisty "Heart of Darkness" type plot. Not that 3's plot was bad per se, but I feel Miller had much more potential than was used.

"It's not black and white. It's black and grey... Grey and grey, actually" - this is what I like most about this game. This really makes me feel like I'm in there, immersed. I remember how back on Sahrani we find out how those prisoners the US forces were freeing turned up to actually be refugees. It's really unfortunate the game was banned in Iran - CSAT are not the bad guys. They're just the OPFOR

HabitableMango2 Battlefield 4 was banned as well. However, not for the campaign, in which the Chinese are the enemies, but for the multiplayer DLC Dragons Teeth, which plays in China and North Korea. I don't know why that was too much after the base game and first DLC had so many settings in China though.

CSAT did destabilize the region, assaulted NATO and talking about Laws Of War - They're the ones who took the risk of dropping a cluster bomb on Oreokastro. It's safe to say that CSAT are, indeed the bad guys.

The Combat Technology and Research Group was not involved in that conflict. And about the special forces taking out the mortars, it was probably CSAT using NATO 5.56 weapons.

Well, not that one, but I'm talking about the general scheme of things. It's easy to find "bad guys" when we focus on very specific events, but, really, the situation is always very complex.

I've played a lot of campaigns in a lot of games. Laws of War is easily in my top five if not top three campaigns I've ever played. Great way to tell a important story.

A little bit late BI eh? But yeah if you own ArmA 3 buy this Laws of war DLC and play it. I didn't like other ArmA 3 DLC's (APEX not counted as it is expansion) but this one I liked really much and hopefully more people realise from this comment it's worth your invesment.

This and Eagle Wings are my favorite Arma Mini-Campaigns! Immersive and fun to play! But I hope the Arma 4 soundtrack will be sorta like Eagle Wings and Marksmen DLC Soundtrack!

This is straight up the best campaign in arma in my opinion. I guess it comes with the caviat that I have played all the other campaigns, so I have more context for all that happens with this. Regardeless, this story was great

I've been a big fan of ARMA for as long as I can remember. The thing we need is a good bad ass campaign where you get to do a mixture of stealth and also ride in with a squad and blow shit up. Yes, I do like the custom content that other users make but an official ARMA campaign is always amazing. ARMA3 is alot like Grand Theft Auto 5. When it came out, everyone loved it and still to this day there is always new content coming out. I would love to see something like a Military Police campaign where you get to drug raids and have access to a K9 unit. Just imagine being able to breach a house and send in the K9 and then being able to restrain your target(s). Imagine a campaign where you get to be a spy on the inside of the enemy base and gather information. I know content may be hard to create (especially campaigns) but i think we need more SMGs as well

Yeah like Dayun said it takes place on a recreation of Limnos and Agios Efstratios renamed to Altis and Stratis respectively, moved closer to Italy and made it's own small country similar to Malta. Figured i'd say this in case you were interested in a little more in depth information!

There will not Arma4 on E3 this year, because developers will start working with new Engine only after they'll finish Tanks DlC. p,s. : there will be more dlc for arma3 made by coomunity and supported by BIS

I hope arma 4 campaign is more of a grounded plot. Arma 3's campaign was ok. It just felt strewn together and no real explanation for anything. I mean I'm still not sure why the AAF attacked NATO in the first place. Not to mention the CSAT geo-earthquake weapon didn't really appeal, it was all to outlandish. Bi should make it more plausible, like OFP or A2. Still I can't fault BI for effort, their storey telling smashes the likes of DICE / EA.
