You double checked everything to make sure it's the exact same as it is in the video?

Save ext file before closing it.

Save ext file, if you see orange status, save it and then if you see green status. Just close ext file. And start the game again.

You most likely saved Description.ext as a text document. You probably have it saved as Description.ext.txt Windows should not recognize Description.ext as a text file if you did it correctly.

I do not believe this is related to the Arma Commander mod, however make sure you double-check your "environment" settings in the Eden editor

@@xKobyMacx I found an alternative solution for myself. my .ext file was wrong and after I have corrected it I can now set the time via parameters.

What was the error on your ext file I copy pasted the one he had here and I’m having the same issue?

​@@Kio-Foxfor me, I accidentally saved it as description.ext.txt In Windows file explorer, there was a little checkbox called "append extension". Unchecking that and resaving everything fixed the nighttime bug. Windows should not recognize Description.ext as a text document if you did it correctly.

The base location module is where you can "randomize" objective positions allowing you to have the element where not every game will be the same.
